Akiraa blinked, shifting her gaze back to Roe. "Chemistry," she said quietly. She had a feeling she'd seen the guy somewhere before, but couldn't put her finger on how he was familiar.

Akiraa blushed. "Oh... I'm actually in the same class; I just happen to have the same 'home' room as the girl with odangoes over there," she said idly. Her hand shifted nervously through her hair just over her right ear as she closed the empty bento box.

Ryuusei shifted fractionally, his eyes opening as he twisted slightly, simply dropping from the tree. He noticed out of the corner of his eye the redheaded girl with the odango girl gasp as if startled as he shifted slightly, landing in a crouch on the balls of his feet as if it were nothing at all.

Akiraa nodded and stood when she heard cackling around the corner that grew louder. She froze upon seeing a guy with black and gray pants that tucked into red boots, while the guy's eyes were a deep violet without irises or pupils. What caught her eye was two main things: the guy's skin was a deep orange with peach streaks randomly moving through it, and the twin tendrils that reminded her sharply of a scorpion's tail rising over the creature's shoulder blades. She didn't even realize her hands had clenched into fists as a low sigh of anger slipped from her lips as subtle ethereal lavender flames swirled around her hands and forearms.

Ryuusei grunted softly as he took a couple of steps to follow the girl who had his bento. He sensed a sharp rise in demonic energy as his fists clenched tightly. A low hum of energy followed him as he glanced to where the other girl stood, apparently frozen. He sensed malice and killing intent in the air. Seems it won't be so boring after all, he thought with a slight smirk as he pushed off the ground silently, landing just to the right of the windows on the second floor.

Akiraa glanced around momentarily, feeling the warmth and pressure. I know it's you... though there's a strong sense that I can't let these... things... attack innocent people, she thought, following its urging even as she thought quickly, certain the draconian would sense her determination. Her gaze shifted upward unconsciously, noticing a flicker of movement though she noticed nothing until she heard a slight hissing sound. What the? she managed to think before an echoing boom sounded, reminding her of an exploding target. She dropped to one knee with the concussion, which wasn't noticeable, but she knew it had drawn attention.

Ryuusei's eyes narrowed as he flicked a cloth around him that effectively hid him from view with camoflague before he flicked a small blade no longer than his middle finger that hit the ground just in front of the strange creature; his own inner demon warned him that it was similar to itself, yet more dangerous as well as the tag detonated with a small blast that wasn't large enough to harm anyone, but more than large enough to distract the creature.

Akiraa took a deep breath as she shifted, her gaze dropping momentarily to the bracelet. She felt warmth pulsing at the edges of her mind both from the voice and from deep within herself. "Novae Aura Spear... Flash," she whispered. She felt her eyes close momentarily as a bright swirling aura of lavender and blue ignited around her, transforming her normal clothes into an utterly different form.

Ryuusei shifted, dropping toward the ground as his hand clenched tightly, crushing the smoke pellet hidden in his palm and releasing a large burst of grayish white smoke. Swirls of violet and pale purple with slight neon green flickers of color swirled as his form shifted as well. A low crunch followed as armored boots hit the ground. His dark gray eyes narrowed as he exhaled slowly, a faintly feral smirk flashing over his lips.

Akiraa shifted, rising to her feet as her gaze shifted cautiously around. Her fingertips brushed over the pommel of the bow at her heart as the orb rapidly coalesced. She shifted slightly, leaning a touch further to her left as she noticed the stranger in body armor. She could sense the feral energy swirling around him, edged with bloodlust. He's as dangerous as the youma... if not more so, she thought as her hand clenched around the orb, feeling a tingle of warmth as it formed into a spear with a hilt roughly a foot and a half long and an eight inch double edged head. Let's put this thing down... though I doubt it'll make it easy, she thought.

Akiraa blinked momentarily before the youma was launched into the air as if struck hard by something. She shifted her weight, twisting the spear as she felt something slam hard into the head of the spear, spinning her around and making her back up half a step. She grimaced slightly as she saw, barely visible to her eyes, a blur of movement and realized it was the barbed end of one of the scorpionish 'tails' from the youma which had been deflected by the head of the spear she wielded as it leaped, nearly evading whatever attack had been launched at it.

This should be fun... it seems to have good reflexes, Ryuusei thought as he shifted, feeling the armor shift between his fingers and extend into razor sharp blades identical to the seven inch long claws his mother had always used in his memories. His eyes narrowed as his irises paled slightly to a silvery gray as a faint frown flickered over his face. Interesting to see a dragon fighting this thing, he thought, his father's 'talent' allowing him to see Aerie's outline. He shifted his arm backward and thrust forward, the crackles of golden lightning turning a deep ebony with sparkling pale blue edges as a 'dart' of energy as wide as his forefinger and middle finger shot forward with a high pitched scream of sound. It looked remarkably like an arrow, but then.. it was a technique his mother had taught him: Kuuraisen (Vacuum/Black Lightning Flash).
