Taicho "Don't assume that just because I'm nice..." As the beams of light slammed into his midsection and bound him, the air was forced from his lungs, leaving him gasping and retching on the floor. Clearly his strategy had worked, but only up to a point. What Hayate didn't take into account, however, was the fact that his opponent was quite proficient in Kido, leaving him at a major disadvantage since Hayate only practiced it to get out of the soul academy.
Oroshi's chants unnerved the bound Hayate, who struggled and strained himself to release himself from his bonds as quickly as he could. Panic began to set in as Oroshi finished his chant, but Hayate broke free from the Bakudo and scrambled to his feet, quickly muttering the release phrase to his shikai and using the smoke to make a hasty retreat to a safe distance. He had averted disaster, for the moment. But now he'd have to start thinking more and change up his strategy. For the moment, however, he remained a distance away from the fifth squad captain, watching him with a wide but tires grin and clenched cat paws.
"You put up a good fight, Oroshi. I like that! "...that I'll keep giving you second chances."    Zanpakuto

 Oroshi smirked and looked across the pitch taking measurements of the field he noticed that his shoulder was broken so resorting to any kido that required use of his right hand was out of the picture. Looking at his zankatou he smiled and looked at the hilt he could feel that it had filled up on energy from the hado he had fired past it he looked at his opponent. Standing upright he smiled and nodded,
"Thanks you too. Shall we say that round was a tie? You still broke my shoulder even though I softened the blow as best I could." He smiled using this time to figure out the specification of his next ploy he locked eyes with his opponent and began his next incantation. As he speaks the reishi the kidou expels is dark and very sinister, unlike his own.
"The crest of turmoil swells. The vessel of madness grows insolent. They boil, they deny, they become numb, they blink and they impede slumber." His first incantation is broken here to start the second muttering them as quickly as he can knowing his opponent's style and expecting him to try to interrupt the casting befor he can complete either spell.
"The one who reigns, mask of flesh and blood, flap of wings, all creation, the one whom caries the title of man." His casting is taking too long he is only half way through each spell after these parts using incantation weaving is a dangerously long way of using kido.

Lazing about in his bed, Kazuma's body was tossed about mouth agape. As he slept combat from the training grounds would occasionally disturb him slightly, but today was a bit different. Although he was asleep he could still sense his captain's reiatsu and another in combat with one another. The second reiatsu wasn't from someone in there division, but it did seem familiar. Waking up he decided to check out the situation for himself to make sure his captain was okay and didn't need assistance. Adjusting his cloth and tying on his badge and zanpakuto he dashed out the door and used shunpo to reach the training grounds.
Once at the training grounds he noticed his captain and the man he recognized as the captain of division eleven. Since his captain didn't seem to be struggling and was in no immediate danger he figured it was best he stay out of the way and only observe. He had only recently been acquainted with his captain so it was best that he see Oroshi's fighting abilities so he'd know what to expect when the time to fight along side him came. Feeling that he tied his badge on a bit to much he loosened it as he sat peacefully on the sidelines. He didn't know of much of he could to at the moment so at the very least he could say he got out of bed today.

Taicho "Don't assume that just because I'm nice..." "Sorry about that. But I wasn't made Captain of Squad 11 for my dashing good looks. As for a tie...fine. That one's a tie."
Hayate said with a hearty chuckle. He was beginning to enjoy spending time with the 5th squad captain. Even though the fought on separate ends of the spectrum-Hayate being a physical specialist while Oroshi was masterful in the art of kido-they seemed to get along quite well. Whether it was that their personalities matched or they had earned each others' respect, Hayate wouldn't know. But he knew that they were friends, at least for the moment.
He unclenched his cat paws and raised them at chest level, listening to Oroshi go through disjointed Kido chants. What was he up to? There wasn't much time to think. As much as he knew it would be expected, Hayate released the chain on his right paw, then whipped it high into the air before bringing it down at a bone-shattering speed slightly left of his opponent. He didn't want to hurt him. It was an exhibition after all, and the point was to subdue and not kill. Meanwhile, he kept the left paw at the ready for a counterattack, fingers wiggling with anticipation.

Oroshi sensed his vice-captain watching and smirks he wouldn't really want to show off all his powers but he did not want to get hit again with the masterful power of his opponent either. Deciding that pain out weighted secrecy he cut into his kido at the half way point and says,
"Alito, Parte di Vento." After his words leave his mouth the zanpaktou standing between them burst and begins to push your strike to the side of his body as he finishes his dual incantations. The zanpaktou had become a protective bubble of air around his own body but he could effect other air then just his small circle. His zanpaktou normally wouldn't have the strength to move an attack out of the way like this but due to the arc and the lack of will to kill the zankatou was nudged far enough away that Oroshi had the time he needed. He still managed to take a glancing blow on his left leg this time though.
"The princess of iron crawls. The mud doll ceaselessly destroys itself. Unite! Revolt! Be filled with earth and know your own impotence!" Ending the first kido loudly and rather proudly as he moves to finish the second,
"Upon the wall of blue flame, inscribe a twin lotus. In the abyss of conflagration, wait at the far heavens! Hado Kyu-ju: Kurohitsugi! Hado Nana-ju-san: Soren Sokatsui!" After his words left his lips the captains hands fired a wave of blue flame at the other captain and surrounding his exact location was a huge black slowly building box. In case he didn't escape Oroshi had cast the second kido to break the first. Two reasons for breaking his own kido, he had grown to enjoy the company of this other captain and he didn't want to damage the squad's barracks. If he had cast it all on it's own with the full incantation he would have been able to suck most of the training grounds into the gravity well the kido produces. Mixing it with another kido made it dramatically weaker considering it was a low nineties kido, most people in soul society wouldn't even dream of using it with incantation or otherwise but to combined it with a seventy grade kido also made it very weak compared to a solo spell.

Taicho "Don't assume that just because I'm nice..." With the Captain's unleashed zanpakuto diverting his claw, he was very limited in his defensive options. Using his only other available claw, he launched it forward rapidly, straight into the incoming blue flames. His gauntlet acted as a buffer between himself and the attack, parting the flames so they'd swirl around him harmlessly. It was still extremely hot, but he was otherwise unscathed. There was a slight grin of accomplishment on his face, happy that he had been so inventive in deflecting the kido.
"Oroshi, I know you can do better than that! Show me what you can do!"
Hayate shouted, retracting his claws and goading him into combat. If it was an exhibition match, he wanted to push the captain's limits to see if he could hang in a real fight.

Oroshi smirked and pointed to the flames,
"Well that was one of the kido." Then he points to the large black box closing in around the captain's head.
"Meet Kurohitsugi, the black coffin." Oroshi smiled having use two kido at once to drop the power but also cause a tactical advantage. Stepping to take mathematical precautions he smiles and boldly said,
"If you want more I hope you'll be willing to show me more too. But, I guess, I can show you how to control the very sky itself. Today anyone will be able to hear the clouds." He smirks and realizes that this will be quite showy, but he needs a way to break the kurohitsugi if that captain doesn't.
"Bankai, Alito in profondità l'aria di verità."
The second he releases his zanpaktou to the bankai stage it begins to forge itself in his hand as he spins it around and around. It looks like an average quarter staff until it finishes the last 6 inches on each side where one side has a large bladed leaf. As it spins he recites the zanpaktou's incantation of release. When it's done forming he stamps the end opposite the leaf into the ground and articulates the name of this form,
"Parte della Tempesta."
As he says it's name the zanpaktou gets struck with lightning and glows white hot for the brief moment then cools almost instantly. The sky begins to get cloudy over the training ground and the wind in the area begins to steadily pick up tossing the other captain's haori slightly. As this is happening the black coffin is closing in around the other captain.
