"It's not your fault." She said drying her tears. She then looks at him and said "Besides I should be appologizing to you. It's my fault your hurt and I just wanted to be with you. I see now that my moving was a bad idea. If i could rewind it I would but i can't. I just want to be with my old friend again that's all I'm asking Drake. I know you better than anyone yet I feel we have grown apart." She said and looked down. She hoped he would say something like he used to and give her a hug like he used to when she was upset or hurt. He was like her big brother back then but now she felt as if they had grown apart from eachother. She couldn't tell him how she felt now. She was scared of what he might say.

Drake turned to his normal human-like form. He reached around her and he pulled her close. He did hug her the same as he use to but he winced when he strained his side. He looked at her and smiled, "The reason we've grown apart is because we haven't seen each other is years, I would love to get to know you again. But on one condition, we go to your favorite restaurant for dinner once we are healed." His eyes were soft and they seemed to hold fear. He was scared of her answer right now since if she said no then he would have to start getting to know her another way which he didn't like.

Akiza smiles as he hugs her and gently hugs him back. When he said that he wanted to get to know her again she nods and said "I would love to." She then smiles and said "But first I want you to come to my auntie's ranch. I think you'll love it there. She has all kinds of animals and there is lots of room to run. I think you should come with me. Plus she knows quite a few good doctors that can help you with your wounds and you wont have to pay them." She really wanted him to come with her.

Drake scratched his head softly. He sighed then said, "I would but I have to protect the creatures here." He looked at her with soft eyes, "I really would like to but first I would have to make a female the head of the territory, but the female must be of a race who waits to mate and I know who to tell." He pulled out his cell phone which was covered in his dried blood. He called someone and after a minute or two he shut his phone.

Akiza nods and was quiet as he was calling whoever it was. "So who is the girl you want to tell?" She asked curious as to who he was calling. She then looks at him and tilts her head. She then hoped he would b okay she just wanted him to be with her.

Drake leaned to her and he licked her cheek. He stood up and shifted to all fours as he turned fox kitsune. He looked at her then he said, "My adopted sister." He forgot to tell her about the adoption but she didn't have to know the girl yet. He stretched slightly then he nuzzled her legs. He walked toward the sound of the truck but he stopped and he looked back at her. He stuck his tongue out at her playing around, "Come kitty, do you want to sit there while I am at your aunt's ranch?"

Akiza giggles and gets up and walks with her cruches. She walks next to him and said "Thanks your the best Drake." She then smiled and blushed a bit. Once they were at the truck she got her brother to help her scoot over to the middle of the seat so Drake could sit beside her. Once her brother got the tire changed to the spare they were on their way. Once there a pack of dogs were at the gate waiting to greet them. They hearded the truck to the driveway and follow them interested in the new arrivals. One of them was a black male german sheperd and he was named Aiko. He was very sweet but if you got on his bad side watch out. When Akiza got out he wags his tail and all the dogs started to bark at Drake. They were socializing with him. Akiza giggles and said "looks like you have already made some friends." Her aunt then comes out and said "Akiza are you alright der?" "I'm fine auntie Rachel." Akiza said and added "This is drake. You remember him right auntie." "Of course he certainly has gotten bigger since I last saw him. " Akiza giggles and One of the stable hands helps her brother unload Akiza's stuff to her room. While another helped Akiza up the steps and the helps Drake. "I think you'll love it here Drake." Akiza said smiling at him.

Drake smiled and he walked up to Akiza. He whispered in her ear for only her, "I love one thing here already." He kissed her ear then he turned and walked toward the grass. He shifted fox and he ran. His seven tails helping him run and balance. He smiled as he ran pass the dogs and he took careful steps since his side and other wounds weren't healed yet. He stopped after a few hundred yards and he sat down.

Akiza giggles and smiles. SHe then smiles and waves at Drake tr to say that she was going inside to relax. She then opens the door and goes inside to sit on the couch. The ranch hands felt bad for her and were offering to help her with all kinds of things as usual. "Guys just because I'm hurt doesn't mean I can't take care of myself. Sure I'll need help with some things but not everything." SHe said with a laugh and smiled. They were all laughing and one of them sat down beside her and said "So whos the other kid with you." "Oh I wouldn't call him a kid. He's my best friend. We've known eachother since Kindergarden. Though I don't want any of you guys roughing him up any more than he is. Not even for fun." Akiza said and smiled not wanting to seem threatening.

When the dogs caught up with him he turned and looked at them. He counted a few females but more males. He stopped as he looked at one female because he had rarely since her breed and her mate attacked him. Drake growled after he kicked the dog off him. All the dogs moved back as the fighting continued. He had no time to fight with his wounds. The dogs barked as the fight grew. Drake was not really trying to hurt the dog but he was defending himself just enough to not get a deep wound. He jumped and he circled the dog. He growled and his eyes started to change to anger. He didn't want the dog as his mate so why would he try anything. He was tackled by the dog and he flipped him off.

The boys hearthe barking and see the fight. One of them whistles and pulls the dog off Drake saying "Barn now!" All the dogs took off and went to the ban. "Sorry about that. You okay? He said and Akiza rushes outside to help. She then said "Why don't you come insde and get your wounds treated? You shouldn't be fighting anyway. That dog is the alpha and get's jealous really easily. Sorry I should have told you about Rocky." She then smiles and hoped he wasn't mad.

Drake moved to Akiza and he sat there as he watched the alpha. He slowly turned and walked toward the house and said to them, "If he attacks me one more time i won't let him out of the fight without hurting him." He turned normal. He walked into the house and he went into the kitchen and he sat down in one of the chairs. He lifted the hem of his shirt to see the gash not healed much.

Akiza then comes into the room and said"Here let me help you." She then grabs the first aid kit and sprays some anti bacterial stuff on a cloth. "This may sting a but but just relax." She then dabs it onto the gash gently and then she wraps it with a bandage being careful of her leg.

Drake growled softly but he didn't move. He closed his eyes and said, "I remember the first time you bandaged me, you put it so tight i was sent to the hospital and they had to cut it off." He waited til she finished and he turned and he smiled. He opened his eyes and her reached out and grabbed her hand. He pulled her close and he made her sit in his lap.

Akiza smiles and said "Well you were always getting hurt and I was still practicing. I've gotten lot better since then." She then blushes when he pulled her into his lap. "Something wrong?" She asked blushing but smiling.
