General-King Zinkenite's colorful phrasing was just how everyone felt, at least by Wolframite's perspective. He arrived on that dead planet that pulsed with Chaos with a look of pure confusion. A general ******** expression at what had happened. One moment the Great Youma was towering above, the senshi surrounded, PRAYING for help, and then they all started to glow as if on rainbow radiation and destroyed all their hard work and threw them back here. HOW that was even possible was beyond him. One thing he did know was that it was over, and they lost.

They lost.

The sure win hadn't been so sure after all.

Wolframite got up, looked around, saw that most everyone was fine, and moved over to the General-King. "I think I speak for everyone by saying that I did not expect the senshi to do ...whatever the hell that just was!" Sure, he was just as furious by the loss, but furious was just starting to catch up. He was still surprised and shocked and trying to figure out what the hell just happened. OH, the youma back in the Rift were not going to like this.

Jarosite forced himself to sit up, arm tight around his rib cage. Grey eyes looked around Alkaid and saw not one of the Mirror senshi. How were they going to get home? Or had the General-Kings not expected the dark senshi to abandon them? Anger smoldered inside Jarosite, but he was into much pain for it to really do anything for him.

"How... are we getting home? Sorry if... I'm not one of those.. who wants to.. rot here. for the rest of... my life..." he forced out through pants of pain. The Lt. didn't want to face Tanzanite or the voice who'd given him power (or the youma army surely out ot get them now) but he sure has hell didn't want to be stuck on some god forsaken planet in the middle of ********' space until he died.

He had... too many things to do to be stuck out here!

Hematite exchanged a knowing look with Bismuthite before his eyes wandered to Howlite.

"Before the attack?" he repeated loudly. He was poised for a moment, looking as devious as he was frustrated. But after a few seconds of words at the tip of his tongue, he chose to slump back and plaster his face with a bored expression. "That's interesting. Almost like they knew ahead of time. Huh."

"The short answer is we're probably not." Dark, tired eyes flickered over to Jarosite. Hematite coughed, and he could taste iron in his mouth. It was simultaneously a rabid conspiracy theorist's dream and nightmare. "It sounds to me like they ran away to save their own once their friends the Zodiacs gave them the signal."

He sat in silence a little longer before punctuating it with a growl.

"I ******** knew it."

"Yes," it was a simple, factual response. They had seen that something powerful was coming, and Ares had shepherded her flock through the mirror. Howlite had seen it herself, as had any that had thought to look, and she didn't intend to forget it. She, of course, had been watching out for them, as she'd promised Leto. Were they, however, watching out for the Negaverse?

The General-King, however, had looked at a compact mirror, before telling her that they would, indeed, return to assist them. A communication device. "Without us, they have nothing." She lifted one shoulder in a shrug. The leader of the Dark Mirror Court did not seem like a stupid woman, and even if she planned to betray them, it would not be today. They had marked themselves as the enemy of the white senshi, and without the larger force of Chaos to distract and work against them, the protectors of light and sparkle death would hunt them down, the few that they were, and destroy them.

It was business.

Pyrite had not, in a million years, been expecting that. They lost? They- failed? They had been doing so well to! They had almost had it in their grasp and then they had been beaten back and almost killed themselves. Some grand negaverse win that was. Now they were on a planet and still freaking the ******** out. Oh god nothing was going to go as planned was it? No matter. She would just lay low, keep her head down and obey.

Looking at Hematite, the one who had brought her into this, she couldn't help but agree with him, her own opinions to easily swayed as usual. Still, her superiors were around, and she was more afraid of them then of Hematite sadly. Didn't mean she couldn't glace over at him and give the general a small supportive smile.

Looking back to the 'leader' Pyrite really was curious and did have a question. "Ah- Pardon me General King. Sir. I have a question." She would wait to ask it. Like hell she was going to speak out of turn or something.

Ilmenite clung to Howlite for the moment, and this time he was just glad she was tall enough that he didn't have to stoop, that she wasn't -- well. Zink. He hummed, flicking a brief look around the gathered crowd, and frowned faintly at the dissidence, the uncertainty. Ilmenite tried to remember if people talked to Tanzanite this way and decided that they didn't do it often.

Of course, Tanz was more terrifying than their newer General King; youma arm and blackened, angry wings were more intimidating than black and blue military wear. Obviously, Zink was going to need something to serve as intimidation, to get mouthy generals [and, well, Captains, he thought, going a little embarrassed] to play nice.

Ilmenite was only sorry that he could never in a million years fill that role, especially not bruised and battered and hanging off of the newer captain. And mouthing off in his own way. s**t.

He made a noise, head tipped just a little to speak quietly toward Howlite. "You're with our General-King, right? I mean. You'd back him up in anything?"

They had lost...

It was unimaginable to the Guardian that they could have failed. After all the work over the past month... all the success. They'd brought forth a monster greater then she had ever seen.. Collected so much energy and power. They'd add atleast half a dozen to their allies numbers, had members in their own arms gain greater power.

And yet somehow they had still lost!?

Dahlia had been weary of the transformation, or rather 'assension' that Alkaid had gone through since she'd seen her in that meeting. So being lost now on her planet... it was like someone had dug a shiv into her heart.

She was dissapointed.. furious... and as such she sulked amid the crowd, licking her paws with such force and vigor that it almost seemed like she was trying to punish them.

It had been only moments after assisting Mica that the blonde had returned to Ilmenite's side, supporting his weight with surprising ease. Her dark eyes flicked amongst the unsettled masses of officers, some of whom, like Jarosite were angrily repeating questions that had already been answered.

At this point the conspiracy theories, which had begun rooted in reasonable suspicion, were climbing to the point of wild leaps, and stupidity. Howlite was becoming unimpressed, with the sudden change of them from an organized fighting force, a family, to this mess.

When Ilmenite spoke, low and quiet to her, amongst the anger, she simply nodded. Once.

Of course she was. He was not only her superior, but the officer Tanzanite herself had chosen to lead this mission. It was not yet over. She spoke again, voice cool.

"None of that matters right now. We've comrades that are injured and we're wasting our time with sulking instead of tending them. Whatever the Dark Mirror Court is, ally or enemy, they shouldn't see us so weak." They would come, and it was up to those on Alkaid to decide what sort of Negaverse they would see when they arrived. In her eyes it was pretty simple.

“Hematite, did you take nothing away from your Court Martial?” He said sharply. “Did you take nothing away from it save that someone else took the punishment you still deserve? You will NOT, continue to question our allies, you will NOT continue to spread dissention, and you WILL keep your temper tantrums to yourself until such time as your opinion, such as it is, is requested.”

The mirror left on Planet Alkaid for the dark parallels to take Negas to space wavered. In a flash, Princess Ares stepped out of it, torch in hand, hair still mussed from battle. Negaverse agents dotted the area in front of her. Apparently, they had survived the blast. She was not relieved, but certainly pleased. The Negaverse was a powerful ally. Ares did not want to lose them, not yet.

Her torch rolled across her palm as she took another step forward, heel crunching on the planet's surface. She adjusted it with one hand and then made her way toward General-King Zinkenite. He was the highest ranking one she saw. At one time, she would have killed him on sight. Funny how things could change.

There was tension in the air. Ares assumed it was because of her presence, but had no idea just how absolutely correct she was. Most of the Negaverse did not care for her. She ignored it and focused on the task at hand instead.

"Zinkenite," she said quietly, for his ears. Hematite did not even earn a glance. "All of the dark parallels survived. They are safe in mirrorspace." Gray eyes glanced out to the crowd. "We can begin shuttling your people back to Earth if you are prepared for it."

There was no discussion of the battle. That would be a tense conversation for much later. For now, Ares was just eager to hold up her end of the alliance.

He nodded curtly. “Good to know, thank you Ares.” He was clearly frustrated as well, be it the battle or more than that he was grateful that she had returned and not forced them to find alternative ways home.

“If your people are prepared I would appreciate if you would take those with the greatest injuries and the lieutenants back first.” There would perhaps always be tension between them after the events of the Blood Moon Court, but he knew where the heart of his duty lay.

“Thank you for your assistance in the battle, and congratulations on all those who joined you.”

Ares nodded curtly too. There were curt nods all around. Planet Alkaid: The Land of Curt Nodding.

There was no need to mince words here. The leader of the dark parallels could feel the tension, and she was too tired and frustrated to deal with it right now. A thin thread held her. If someone said the wrong thing, she feared she might snap. "It will be faster if they organize themselves into small groups, small enough to fit through the mirrors." One clawed finger gestured toward the wide, decorative mirror that had been placed on the surface. It was large enough to allow perhaps ten people to pass through at once.

Crossing toward the mirror, Ares said quickly, "I will go get the others who can assist. We will return in six minutes." With that, she dissolved back through the mirror, a glimmer on the surface that quickly disappeared.

(( Negas! Feel free to assume that your agent passed through the mirror in whatever groups you choose. Ares is the only one who can take the big groups, but Leto or Requiem could take 2-3 people each. Go ahead and handwave it~ ))
