Themis nodded back at Bellatrix before she rushed in, lips moving in a silent plea.

Please don't die.

He wasn't sure if he could handle it if something happened to her. But now... now it couldn't be helped.

War had broken loose.

"THEMIS NOISE STORM !"

The advantage of those big ******** fights was that his magic was about to be very, very effective.

Pasiphae had not had a chance to see the arrival of... this monstrosity. She had heard shouts from her position in the Surrounding, abandoning her mission of moving mirrors in order to rush and see what was going on. Had more Dark Moon Court members arrived? The Negaverse? Oh, she wished, when she saw what she saw that it was that simple.

Part of her desperately wanted to run as she looked at the beast before her, the swarming forward of the Negaverse. Her heart compressed painfully as she thought about how badly she had been defeated by a single Negaverse officer, how she hadn't even been able to protect her best friend from being hurt. How much more could she do now... against such odds?

But there were civilians that she had been given the duty to protect. There were allies--Senshi, Knights, Guardian Cats, already standing firm and trying to protect those innocents and each other. Despite her doubts, her uncertainities, her insecurities... she would not run. She would fight, until she could not fight anymore. The Shame Senshi dashed towards the gathering of civilians, intent on protecting them as her first priority. Her observant eyes swept the field for any allies she knew, especially fellow Jovians who could better direct her efforts.

Europa was close behind Ganymede, a growing look of concern plastered across her face. As they cleared the roofline and the sky came into view, her heart dropped into her stomach. All the senshi could see was inky blackness where there ought to have been stars.

Wait. No. There was more than that. She fell into line beside her teammate, eyes still fixed on the sky overhead. This went beyond strange weather - no, just as the exploding civilians had warned, something had indeed been coming. Except, now that that something was here, Europa wished it had stayed away.

The prelude was always the worst part of the battle, at least in her opinion. That sickening moment when you could see and sense what was coming but it was not yet upon you. The trench, right before the wave came crashing down... that was where they were now.

"How the ******** did they get here?" she growled to Ganymede. Europa had meant for it to be part of her internal monologue, but it had just slipped out. Inquiring minds longed to know, after all.

And then the wave came crashing down and the siege was upon them. Europa directed Ganymede's attention towards the great youma with a hasty hand gesture. "We take that out first, deal with everything else as it comes," she ordered. Take out the tank, then focus on the foot soldiers - that was the proper way to do it, right?

She seized a near piece of rubble and hurled it at the creature. "They'll never take the surrounding!"

The negaverse rushed past her in droves, but General Fluorite had no intention to stay behind and watch, oh no.

No, her blades called for blood.

She jumped, just as a large piece of rubble was making it's way in the great youma's direction - katars striking forward to shatter it, green eyes locking onto Europa.

She didn't dare teleport - she needed to keep all the energy she could - but the moment her feet touching 'ground' she was making her way toward the eternal.

Draconis did 6 Damage

Draconis' attention was immediately lost from Harmony the second the monster roared and ripped through the shield. Now she could care less about the civilian, it was a dot on the back of her radar. She knew now that this wouldn't be a fight to defend innocence.

This would be a fight to defend their lives.

"Crap cra-" she started, but didn't even get to finish as Fluorite's voice filled the surrounding. Draconis' eyes went wide as everything seemed to go to hell in the blink of an eye. Suddenly a giant beast was entering The Surrounding, followed by hoards of negaversers, civilians were running rampant, trying to play hero, and the senshi and knights at the moment were clearly outnumbered. They needed reinforcements and they needed them now.

Well what she needed was a plan. Obviously the brute of their attacks were based on that monster thing, right? If anything, it seemed to be the biggest threat at the moment. So Talia did what she did best.

Darting left and right, she ran at high speed towards the beast, and didn't waste any time kicking or punching, or any of the normal tactics for fighting a youma. She formed two symbols with her hand, and then shouted her words, "Draconis Breath of FLAME." As she let out the last word, a torrent of senshi, draconic fire went pummeling towards the beast. Hopefully the beast was just advantageous in size, not power.

Layton, meanwhile, was cowering deep within the Chronos Outpost. She definitely wasn't going outside for anything. She heard the shouts and the sounds of fighting, but she just couldn't do it. It was too scary. Too scary.

Yet ... what if Callum was out there? She had promised to stay right by his side after reuniting, but she had fallen asleep at some point and he had wandered off. What if she lost him again? No, that just couldn't happen.

So Layton picked up a pillow and hugged it close to her body, like a teddy bear. Very cautiously, she crept out the door. She remained hiding behind a pillar, but she could at least see the action now.

Keren Della-Blue's courage had run out shortly after people's heads had started exploding. She had no desire to stay and fight: in fact, she felt no allegiance to the senshi and the knights. They'd done very little for her, she'd fought her own battle out on the rainbow road, and she wasn't an idiot: staying and fighting wasn't her style.

As soon as all hell broke loose, Keren made a mad dash for the far side of the outpost in search of a hiding place. She didn't want to be bait, and she didn't want to die, and she didn't think she could fight something so big.

No, right now, Keren Della-Blue was far more keen on finding someplace to curl up and disappear than throwing elbows.

Natalia's Hourly Roll

When the ground beneath her feet began to shake, Natalia also began feeling weak in the knees. Then that claw came, bashing through the surrounding, and she was frozen to the spot. She fell from the Surrounding's quaking and breaking, and with a shrill scream found her ability to move again, and narrowly dodged falling through a crack. She assumed falling was possible, anyway, with the surrounding broken like so.

Oh god, that had been too close. She booty-scooted back against some surface, and wobbly-ly got back to her feet.

She wanted to help. She wanted to live. There was nothing that she could do.

Trust fate.

Pray.

Virgo felt an odd sense of relief when the Negaverse finally attacked. It didn't matter that this meant the civilians were in more danger than ever. This was something she knew, something she could handle and didn't require trying to balance everyone's egos and feelings. She could just destroy the enemy, and it would be just fine. Everything would be normal and fine...

She skidded to a stop near the monster and hurled something--she didn't even stop to look at what it was--at it while still trying to catch her balance. Surely that was why it glanced off so easily.

Virgo did 9 damage!!

Sugilite deflected 9 damage.

This was what they were attacking? Some awful care-bear ripoff? Sugilite frowned, seeing civilians running around like rats. They were stealing them right off the planet? She hadn't known that. Hadn't bothered to think about the missing people. Hadn't given them a thought. It wasn't guilt that bothered her, but the fact that they had been able to easily lift people such a distance, with apparent ease. Well, these rats were contaminated now. They had probably been indoctrinated with the same lies the senshi repeated to themselves, to let them sleep well at night. No, these humans shouldn't be allowed back to earth, less they spread rumours of the senshi being 'defenders of good' or any other nonsense. These humans would have to die here, with their opinions.

She landed lightly, with the ease of practice. Then, turning, she saw an old man aiming a shield. Well, that was odd, a grandpa in the field. She grinned and threw herself at him, using her full weight to knocking him off-balance. He was much stronger than she had expected, and she quickly skipped backwards and into the fray, looking to put some distance between them. And find some civilians to tend to.

Captain Moonstone stood firmly on the back of the Great Youma with her fellows as the beast roared their arrival; her strong legs keeping her steady even as it lurched to a halt after having torn through that stupid magical barrier. Negaverser and Dark Mirror Senshi alike spilled forth, but she hung back in order to assess the playing field a few moments longer and also to avoid the crush of bodies - with her weapon, she needed a bit more space to swing it effectively - she would wait and watch senshi rushing forward, attacking them. Her eyes widened and she wipped her weapon up to knock-back one of the attacks that had reached where she was dismounting the Youma.

It was epic, like the prologue to a science fiction show, where a war raged on. A panoramic scene of the battle field, before focusing in on the heroes.

In fact, it was easy to survey the field, instead of realizing that the fight had already begun. Senshi wasted no time. Of course, most of them were focusing on the youma, before it had even begun its attacks...

Howlite stationed herself in the growing ranks of officers, holding a line of defense against the senshi.
