Lydia smiled, starting to walk, "Then let's not make haste. We mustn't let the spirit wander off too far." Lydia seemed very determined to find Yamayo, even if she was but a stranger.

Yori nodded determined and scanned the area as he continued walking aimlessly. A spirit popped out at him laughing he jumped back quickly while he recited. The spirit was then purified and returned to heaven. "i wonder if we're going the right way if one had already started attacking. You know what i mean?" He said looking back

Lydia smirked, "I was taught that the road which has more evil things is usually the one with the treasure at the end. It's worked for me at least 99% of the time." she said quietly, creating a small mental barrier so the spirits could not possess her.

Yori chanted making a barrier around himself as well. With a tap of his staff on the ground, Lydia's barrier and his glowed of blue flames around the perimeter of the barrier. He nodded at Lydia and started walking. Spirits of all kinds came up to them. The low level ones purified as they touched the blue flame. The higher levels taken out by a single swing of his staff, but as they got deeper it was harder to keep up with and Yori wondered how long his barrier would last as he started chanting again to boost it up to the 2nd level, his flames around it becoming even brighter as they came across a cave.

Lydia stopped in front of the cave, peering inside at the rather strange dark chasm. "Yori, look. None of the spirits want to venture inside... That's a bit hard to believe..." she said quietly.

Yori gulped swallowing his fear and started walking in, Yori's blue flames providing light. They only time he stopped was to think about which direction to go in. "Left?...or right?" he said as he racked his brain about which he would choose.

Lydia looked at the crossway carefully, thinking. "Perhaps... we should split up?" she said quietly

Yori was shocked as he snapped his gaze at her. "Do you have anything to protect yourself? You won't always be able to get by, by talking things out with spirits."

She smirked suspiciously, "I have my ways. I will take the left, and you the right." Lydia didn't hesitate to set off, confident in herself. "Be safe, Yori!" she said, before disappearing in the cavern.

Yori sighed, but didn't worry about her. She knew enough to know how to stay out of trouble. He started walking, whispering his sister's name every time his echo had ceased. He didn't worry about the smaller cave spirits. They were usually the kind ones, unless a spirit possessed them. Yes, another spirit possessing another. He never knew how that worked, his teacher had never told him the answer. Yori walked as the cave spirits danced around him happy to have a visitor, but as he got deeper and deeper slowly their numbers decreased as they started going the opposite way he was going. He stopped walking and watched as they ran/floated away. He looked back in front of him, a serious look on his face 'i wonder if Lydia is ok.' he thought as he walked onward. Slowly he saw a shape come into site and he picked up his pace, but when he the shape became clear in his vision he stopped to see that it was Lydia and sighed. "It seems we merely walked in a circle." that was when he saw a much bigger shape appear and saw that it was a big blob of spirits. His eyes widened, but stayed calm repeating what his sister said before she was take. He was ready for battle.

Lydia turned around, frowning at the group of spirits behind her. "Well... that plan didn't work out as expected... let's 'help' some more spirits?" she asked, a gleam in her eyes. Lydia stood straight and blew a stream of air at the spirits, freezing them with a spell she had learned on her own. "Yori, it's your chance!"

He started chanting holy words and ran up to the group of spirits she had frozen. He spun around so that his flames would purify all of them and jumped back as more came. "Tch, Hey! Calm down for a moment now!" Yori snapped, yelling at the spirits "All i wana know is where your friend took my sister." he said as he purified the ones that were getting too close. "If you give me an answer i'll help you find peace! It's not like i'm killing your friends!" he yelled hoping he would get an answer from them, but highly doubted it as he purified two more.

One of the spirits had understood Yori's cause, and went up to Lydia, seeming peaceful enough. Lydia listened to it's silent whispers, smiling softly, "Yori! This one knows where Yamato went! It says it'll help us out of the cave."

Yori looked over at Lydia as she said this and slowly came out of his battle stance. He nodded "Show us the way." We followed the spirit out of the cave and walked north, out of the woods. When the spirit disappeared all of a sudden we both stopped walking. Yori started chanting and slowly a barrier was visible. "It seems to be a barrier to a new demention." Yori said. The spirit came back to us, visible again and ran off. He looked at Lydia "We have no idea what lies behind this. We don't even know if we can return or not. If you want, you can go home, but i'm going. I'll live with my sister in that new place if i have to and i'll get stronger so that i can protect her." He stated.

Lydia smirked, "Home? Please, that place was worse than the devil's home." she held Yori's hand firmly, "I'm with you all the way. This is my destiny, I can feel it." she smiled warmly at him. "Let's do this."
