Candace had Jerry under control. Which was good, because he didn't need Jerry to get one of his feet gnawed off. ...Or for anybody to end up damaging the cages. Jerry lead the way out this time, charged up by the whole situation. Or maybe by Candace.
"Don't worry so much," Harrison said in answer to Glen's taunt. "We'll be back." As an afterthought he added, "See you around, Clarice," and exited the tent after Jerry and Candace.

With the taunters gone, and the others falling into relative silence (except a bizarre laugh and a few other noises, none of them comforting) Lois found herself with nothing to try to fight back against. She sat back, drooping physically, and inwardly trying to sort everything out.
Well Lo-lo, you're in a real mess. Isabella wouldn't be very happy would this would she? She grimaced and bowed her head, wishing for once in her life that she had hair, if only so it would fall forward and cover her face for a bit. Her big sister would be so disappointed if she saw her like this, but even more importantly, if she was turned into a weapon would her sister ever know what happened to her? She wasn't just some monster in a cage, not like these things (she was loathe to call them people) were. She was a monster with a family, and a big sister who had all but raised her.
I can't just sit here feeling sorry for myself, she thought in desperation. She reached down and took one of her centipede anklets off, willing to part with one of her set, a beloved gift, in exchange for any hope at getting out. She weighed it in her hand before tossing it at the electricity surrounding the cage, hoping to at least find out some information about her cell. When it was zapped by the electricity and fell in pieces was when the truth fully hit home. There was nothing she could do. She was at the mercy of her captors. And that was when she started sobbing.

[Entering from hunter group 1, room 1.]
Not many things surprised Ariane, especially after going through that week of hell in that suit and mask, which ended up being some sort of a golem rather than her real body. She had seen and experienced so many things previously deemed 'impossible' by her fellow human beings that she was beginning to be rather jaded about certain things that might had made her really excited as 'Ariane Brown, girl with most boring life ever'. However, she had changed to 'Ariane Brown, girl with not so boring life'... Mindset changes were thus, inevitable.
Sentinel weapons that talk to their wielder telepathically? Okay, cool.
Sentinel weapons that talk to their wielder telepathically made from things that go bump in the night? Awesome.
Sentinel weapons that talk to their wielder telepathically made from things that go bump in the night locked up in cages right in front of her eyes?
Surprise! And then even more awesome... Sure, it took her some time to actually process what she was seeing, but there was no mistaking it - most of the beings locked in the cage resembled the many creatures that she had seen during their last field trip... She couldn't help feeling an odd sense of pride at being part of this organization, a smile spreading across her lips as she started to wring the water out of her jacket, scarf and hair.
To make her mood even better, Kintama was being silent for once!

Glen uncurled as he heard someone enter, eyes red and bleary from the crying he'd never admit, eying the unknown girl with barely concealed venom from his cage. He wasn't fond of his plight being a spectator sport either, it was just another irritation to be added to the rapidly growing list.

Donatello rolled his head back to the front when he heard somebody walk in heads head turned rolling around on his shoulder to see who came in them back to its original position. He didn’t know what came over him actually he did it was being put into this cage and treated like trash and some sort of spectacle to these people. He looked at the cage he knew that he couldn’t just get out but he didn’t want to be awake for this. What was coming couldn’t be good and if he could have a few moments of not being here he was going to take it. He lifted his long legs and began kicking at the cage each jolt slowed him down a bit. But it didn’t stop him he clenched his teeth to bear with the pain. It didn’t take long before he tired himself out panting as he coughed his throat was sore. His legs hurt he could smell something burning and then he felt himself drifting into the black emptiness. He never thought that blacking out would be a good thing a small chuckle before he collapsed on the floor of his cage.

"Shhhhhhh."
The voice was trying its best to be hushed, though it was a horrible front. One withered hand attempted to peer past the electricity of the mottled assortment of cages - there was a sickening crackling noise - and then silence again. A small moan escaped from the tiny cage, as a barely visible figure waved back and forth, shaking its confinement.
"Shhhh.. they'll hear you, they see you, they see you." It wailed and the cage shook harder. "They whisper to me, the voices. They're so lonely."
It could have been talking to anyone at this point, though the Hunters attempting to cool down the overexhausted Weapons Conversion Apparatus paid no attention to the specimens.

Glen glanced over at the source of the voice, equine ears perked, genuinely curious. There was something that grabbed his attention in the tone. He moved to the side nearest it and looked baffled, who exactly could it be talking about? The only voices he heard were the hunters in the room. Perhaps for whatever reason, his fellow captive had cracked under the strain. But still, there was some good left in Glen's nature and concern overrode his caution.
"Whit voices?" he asked in the whisper used everywhere by people who actually want to be heard.

“Of course I don’t wanna do nothing! But does it look like I have much of a choice?” He snapped, gesturing toward the white sparks of electricity that crackled around the cages. “I’m not sure if using our FEAR would help, since they could just as easily turn us into that.” Diece half-nodded to the box that contained the scythe. His expression darkened as he glanced at the container, glaring at yet shrinking from it as if it held the plague.
Silently, he watched a male Hunter angrily kick one of the cages. He snorted, rolling his eyes. “Not afraid? You don’t look very convincing.”Diece fell into further silence as a couple of the strangers took the time to taunt them. His lips contorted into a disgusted scowl as he sneered at the trio that exited the tent. Good riddance. Now that he was left with nothing to preoccupy him, as the occupants in the surrounding cages remained relatively quiet, he returned his focus to the mysterious machine. A lump caught in his throat and he tore his gaze away from the horrid thing. Yet his thoughts were immediately drawn back to it like a magnet. Diece rubbed his temples, hoping the depressing ideas would escape from his head.
Then he heard the girl nearby sobbing. “Hey, hey…D-Don’t cry, okay? You’ll catch your attention…” He attempted to comfort her, but his words seemed more awkward and useless than they should have been. Diece was interrupted by a loud hush and he snapped his gaze toward the source, his brows furrowed.
The heck? What a damn creeper. “I think that guy is just bonkers,” Diece informed Glen.

Donatello wasn’t out for long even black outs weren’t even giving him some mercy. Her chuckled he was being completely pathetic it was making him sick. If he was going to die he should at least do it as himself and not this. He pulled he bandage from his hair and wrapped them around his feet they were in a lot of pain he won’t do that again maybe. His hair fell all over the place as he looked down at his feet. Lifting his head he ran his hand through his hair pushing it behind his head grumbling to himself “there must be a way out” he mumbled softly to himself.
He turned when he heard a hushed voice not sure where it came from but he knew it wasn’t one of his captors. Donatello coughed more of a hacking as he moved towards the edge of the cage in the direction the hushed voice came from. He then fell back to the cage floor one hand resting on his chest as the other rose to cover his eyes. Before he spoke up other captives spoke up before him one asked a question he had on mind. The other seemed to just be venting “well would you rather stay sane in this situation?” he chuckled not looking for a response just talking to himself really just out loud so others could hear “insanity could be the answer”.
Donatello then lowered his voice it was gravelly and crackled “I’ll make sure their not lonely if they would get us out of here. Another thought came to mind as he moved his hand removing the blindfold from his face. What was the point in seeing as he shoved it in his pocket “Do these voices have a physical form that can break us out of here?”

Lois sniffed, trying to stop crying. It was just too horrible. If only she had never woken up, or if she had been the first to go. Watching the other being forced into the machine, seeing what had happened, and then sitting here waiting in agony was the absolute worst.
But the boil near her was right, and she didn't want to catch their attention, not like this. She wiped at her tears hastily, and tried to put on a bold face, though anyone that actually looked at her could tell she didn't have her heart in it. "You're right. I won't let them see me cry." Saying it out loud helped, and she said it again to herself quietly. If today was the day she was going to die or be turned into some sort of weapon for freaks she at least wasn't going to give them the additional satisfaction of seeing how scared she really was.
"I'm Lois," she whispered to the other caged boils, as all of the ones near her seemed to be male. If they were going to go through hell together, she wanted to at least introduce herself.

[Exit to student group 7!]
Ariane looked interested in what the creature had to say... Until you realize that she was just staring at it, studying it, the same way someone would stare at a criminal who had been locked behind bars for committing some heinous crime - with disgust shown plainly on her face. Of course, she was also treating them like animals in a zoo...
You do not talk with animals in a zoo because they are animals, and no matter how they look, would probably chew out your liver if you give them the chance to.
"Mmm," She muttered softly to herself as the phone attached to her started to vibrate. Taking it out, she read the message, a grin slowly spreading across her face; a mission? Just for her team...? Interesting... Throwing one last look at the cages as well as the creatures detained inside, she then fished out the pendent from her bag and tossed it over her head, "Accept."
Time to see what their dear superior had in mind.

It was a tired and grumpy Davey that returned from the Haunted House. Stupid house. Stupid ghosts. Stupid doctor, making him go to the stupid house and catch stupid ghosts that kept trying to kill him.
On the plus side, if Davey hadn't believed the doctor and Caelius before about everything supernatural wanting to kill or eat them (or both and not always in that order), he certainly did now. Even the things that looked like they belonged at a six year old's Halloween party were out to get him. Life sucked, and it was about to get worse. He stuck his head inside the tent (no one was out in the yard itself any more) and looked around.
"Doctor?" he called. He slipped in, half hoping that the crazy man was absent. Of course, that left Davey with two filled ghost traps and nothing to do. Maybe that was preferrable to another round with Doctor H, though...
"Anyone here?" he tried again.

"Ahm Glen." he stated in reply to Lois before falling quiet again.
The redhead only looked up as someone else entered, frowning as it seemed to be another individual who probably wasn't on the captive's side. He snorted.
"By "someone" ye mean somewan who isnae caged like an animal ah guess? We aren't somewan, jus' som'in."

((Captive from Group 7, Room 2))
When Lattice awoke within her cage there was a slow realization. A slow heart wrenching realization and it only fed into this emotion of rage that had started burning just after she'd first been caught. The realization that she might not get out of here and see her sister or anyone ever again made her feel...
Sick.
She never felt sick.
She sat up her legs tucked under her and her body quivered quietly as she stared out of the cage though even barely able to see that. Tears welled up behind her mask as her finger tips dug into the cloth of her skirt. What happened to Inky? She didn't know for all she knew the small ink blob was probably killed.
Rage slowly built within her. Her own helplessness brought her up to this situation, her own inability to do anything about her had locked her in a cage where she probably wouldn't escape for all she knew. She lacked hope. Her lips parted and for the second time she uttered a scream and she threw herself against the cage and a painful jolt went through her body causing her to fall onto her back and stare upward.
Was there hope? She had no reason to think so. No one knew. No one but the ghouls she was fighting with...Were they caught? She didn't know. Tears poured from the sides of hr mask.
"Needle..." She murmured softly her voice thick with tears.
