Yuri smiled warmly, being the father of Lillie's firstborn would have been nothing but a dream when they were still only dating. He couldn't help but laugh a little when she talked about her father. "I doubt I'll keep my eyes off our baby for him to take them that easily...if it turns out to be a girl I'm more than certain that she'd be as beautiful as you are." He said happily, his attention on Lillie breaking for just a second as the bell of the elevator chimed in, opening to reveal the ground floor of the complex. Sighing only a little that the time simply standing there with Lillie in his embrace had come to such a quick end, he kept one of his arms around her as he stepped to the side, walking with her into the lobby.

Yuri kissed back happily, letting the thought of having a son linger for just a second before answering. "Perhaps he might someday be welcomed as part of the knights as well. Or maybe our daughter could follow in your footsteps and become an expert in potion-making." He said, suppressing a small laugh before speaking again. "Or perhaps it could be the other way around: a son who could create a powerful potion in seconds flat, or a daughter who could wield a sword as good as any man." He said, knowing that, if either scenario happened, the child would have their full supporta know that success was inevitable.

(this'll have to be my last post for tonight. As long as the site doesn't go under maintenance again, I should be able to get online again in the morning ^^)

Yuri nodded, hugging Lillie close to his body before breaking away to open the front door for her, making a slight sweeping gesture with his hand before bowing his head. "As always, ladies and princesses first." He said cheerfully, knowing that had anybody been around, they'd simply take it as a husband flirting with his wife instead of realising that she was in fact one, not that he wasn't doing exactly that, simply flirting with his lover. It may have been long ago that Lillie had made it clear she didn't want him addressing her by royal title, but that didn't mean he wouldn't slip it in as one of the many casual nicknames he had for her.

Yuri had arrived home not long after, having been a little later than usual from work to get a few cuts and bruises sorted out. The moment he entered the apartment, his ears picked up the sobbing, the color drained from Yuri's face, a sense of panic arose in the back of his mind. Rushing to the bedroom, he blinked when he saw the door closed, it was almost never closed. Taking light steps towards the door, he raised his hand up to it and knocked lightly. "Lillie? What's wrong? Are you alright?" He asked quickly, his tone filled with worry.

Yuri heard Lillie, if only just, he turned the doorknob and slowly pushed open the door. As soon as it was wide enough for him to slip in, he did so and went to her side, putting an arm around her and pulling her into a gentle embrace. "Lillie, please...tell me what's wrong." He told her. He hadn't seen her this upset since the miscarriage incident, a day that even though he tried not to think about it, it still haunted him deeply. He had never wanted Lillie to go through that sort of trauma and misery, yet here they were.

The word, as small as it was, hit Yuri like a sack of bricks, his blood went cold, everything in his mind blanked. He trembled slightly as he spoke up in a shocked stutter. "R-r-rape!? When? Wh-where?......who?" His series of questions the only thing that managed to come out. Suddenly there was a new emotion bubbling over in his mind: anger. Not at Lillie, never at Lillie, but at two other people. One, the person who did this to her. Two, himself for not being with her to stop it. The feeling towards the first person, however, was no longer just pure anger, but a sudden, unbridled bloodlust. Whoever had done this, if and when Yuri found him, he was going to take his blades to their throat and butcher them.

Yuri was lost for words, this happened at the school? Of all the places in the world, he thought that it was one of the safest places to be. His free hand curled up into a ball so tight that his fingernails broke the skin on his palm. When Lillie said that she would be pregnant, his mind snapped yet again. Although he had prayed that the next time she would, the baby would survive, but he could have never predicted that said baby wouldn't be his own. Now he wasn't sure what to think. If she was indeed impregnated and it would survive, would they still consider it their own? Would the biological father return to see their child? Would they try to stop the baby from developing? So many questions, yet he did't want to put any more stress of having to answer them onto his wife. Instead, he pulled Lillie even closer and hugged her gently, even though he wanted to find whoever did this, his first priority was Lillie. So lost for direction, he softly said a sentence that he thought he'd never say in a long time. "We should go to your father, he'll know better than us what we should do from here." He considered the knights for a moment, but they were too far away to do anything any time soon. As for Yuri's father-in-law, Len was much easier to reach.

Yuri nodded in understanding, so much had happened today that trying to push even more wouldn't be wise. "Alright, we'll wait." He said softly, kissing her on the forehead to try and help calm her down a little more. Keeping Lillie in his embrace, he lay down on the bed with her. The stress was tiring for him and he was certain that she needed rest even more than he did. Even though he didn't say it in words, his body language told her 'no matter what, I'm here, I'll always be here for you'. It wasn't much, but he at least wanted to know that nothing between them would change because of this. He was her husband, he loved her without question and that's how it was going to stay.
