"Why is that?"

"I don't know, just seems like you're having an easy time of it now." Juno laughed and shrugged, then continuing to pretend to swim. It was really relaxing, it wouldn't be a surprise if he became addicted to it.

"I might be getting addicted to this." He laughed, which didn't make him sound serious though he was in his own way.

"M-maybe I should try and put us down now? I'm just sort of worried about dropping us."

"That is probably a good idea." Juno smiled. He knew she was still a rookie, which meant that her powers were obviously unstable as demonstrated when he was thrown into the air unexpectedly. But she seemed a little old to be a rookie. Which made him realize he didn't know exactly how old Anemone was.

"By the way, how old are you?" Now doing the frog stroke towards the ground.

"I'm eighteen, I was invited to the Academy awhile ago but only recently accepted, so I suppose that's why I'm older than most.

Juno nodded at this, processing that she was eighteen. It was a bit old for only being a rookie. But he was sure she'd move along quickly with diligence. Though she had a lot of things to catch up on in regards to life experiences.

His thoughts however were currently interrupted at a sudden wavering jolt in midair. It passed as soon as it'd come, but Juno knew it had something to do with Anemone's lack of control. They weren't too high up any more, but a second wave of unsteadiness came again. Juno wouldn't take the risk, and grabbed Anemone around the waist in order to catch her if she fell as well. She did say floating two full-grown people was new for her. He prepared his feet for what would be a bumpy landing.

And as expected, the third wave of returning gravity was permanent. The two fell from what was at least ten feet above around. Juno landed steadily enough on his feet but the unexpected weight of Anemone managed to drop them both to the ground. His arms sturdily around her middle, he'd managed to allow her not to hit the ground and land squarely in his lap and he on his rump. On a tad painful note that would pass soon enough.

"Woah." Juno raised his eyebrows with a laugh. "Well that was fun. Are you okay?" He said tilting his face down so that he could look at her not from behind his shades. The first time he'd allowed her to actually see his plain brown colored eyes, which was a rare sight to see unless Juno was dressed for civilian life and not on campus.

Juno laughed as the girl popped up instantly it seemed. He slowly pulled himself off the ground and tried to reassure his student, both hands making a 'calm down/stop' motion.

"Hey. It's okay, no harm done." He said with a warm smile. He sucked in a little breath though, rubbing his rump a little. It had been a rough landing after all.

He hadn't really thought about the time at all since Anemone's arrival. And now that he thought about it, it was probably passed curfew for Anemone. Thankfully the last bit of excitement had pushed all possible inappropriate actions and or thoughts out of his mind for the time being.

Juno cleared his throat. "Yeah, you should probably get back to your room." He slid his hand up the back of his neck. "Um. I guess, sorry for keeping you so long."

He wasn't even quite sure what the purpose of keeping his student forcefully had been to begin with. Oh right. She was being bothered by an idiot boy. Ha. His memory was going, or maybe it was all the things jumbled up in his head causing him to forget things. "I hope you're feeling a little better now at least." Though he had a lot of doubt for this, especially with how Anemone's face had turned bright red from the accident. He seemed to be failing as a mentor here, come on Juno! He could do better, hopefully.

Juno could tell that Anemone was obviously lying. She possibly was even more shaken up by what had just happened than what had happened earlier with the boy. But he nodded in response and said "I'm glad."

He watched her pick up her things and thank him, and... Compliment him on being a good teacher..?

A small warm feeling began to spread inside him. So he was a good teacher...? At least one person thought so... He seemed to be lost a little in the compliment and only realized he'd forgotten to say anything to his leaving student. Her back was already turned to him as she left the auditorium.

He waved dreamily. "Have a good night..." He said quietly, more as if to himself.

The compliment still ringing in his head. It was the best thing to happen all day.
