Athena followed her mistress and as she would begin to go towards the boat cracks would appear in victors egg "Mistress my egg is hatching!" Athena couldnt help the sense of pure happiness that would follow as the egg would begin to shake violently as more and more cracks would cover the shell until the shell would explode, and instead of an egg Victor was in her arms.

Athena nodded and hopped aboard the boat and as soon as she was on it the pokemon strapped to it began to move out across the water, She held her shiny bellsprout and smiled, Victor was ok for now that is, the island could easily kill the both of them. Athena used Victors pokeball to make sure it still worked and it did. She looked back, she knew it would be either fail and die or win and return with that in her mind she looked back out across the sea

The Gengar giggles lightly at her rage, and then simply shrugs as he stop his swim at the pier. Where the water lapped at the long posts that held the wooden structure above the waves.

There boats sat as the Gengar floated near it ....as the back of a Lapras appeared from a moment and then the pokemon itself would move to grab one of the lead lines. Everything was set up for her to go as the pokemon lands back on the ground and actually does a bow back towards Jasmine. He would have wished her good luck if she could have understood him, but by now he has already come to the conclusion that none of the new students could hear him ...not yet.

As his eyes narrowed at her and his smile grew wide as he seemed to break into a laugh for no reason whatsoever ....as he grew lighter and lighter, until the pokemon vanish from the spot she had last seen him.

Vanni had found the Pokemon Center easily enough, particularly with the aid of the keen-eyed Phoebe. She pushed open the door, entering curiously. It was hard not to be excited about her new mission, though perhaps it would have been wiser to be cautious. Who knew what was in store for them on that mysterious island? What sort of horrors lurker beneath the waves? What-?

Phoebe nipped her ear; the Nidoran could tell when she was getting too needlessly introspective.

With an affectionately weary sigh, she pinched her Pokemon's ear. "Stop that," she ordered. Vanni finally spoke, deciding to cut to the chase. "Is anyone here? I'm looking for the pier? I'm a student trying to get to the Island of Beginnings."

Nurse Joy was a bit surprise to have to be forced from the back for such a stupid request. It wasn't like one couldn't see the sea beyond the nursing center, but then again ...finding the pier and the boats weren't nearly as easy. Another thought of the tactics class, hid them underneath a cliff so that flying types didn't spot them so easily. This made sure the boats wouldn't be on fire if the time to escape came from an aerial assault anyway.

Though that did nothing for water types being able to spy them so merely having sentry around the back area of the academy would have to be enough to stop that. It was a bit of a disappointment that that was as far as they could go with it, but what could be done ....as she sighs openly.

"Go around the back, hugging this building ...you will see the stairway that will lead you to the alcove." "There you will find the boats and the pier ...just simply go all the way down the stairs, and don't stop in the middle point ...there is a few nasty traps on that ledge."

She told the Vanni as a real emergency would come afterwards.

The girl came in with a limp pokemon in her arms as the woman rolled her eyes at the sight at least at first. A pokemon when injured is generally recalled into their pokeballs for two reasons ...to stop their suffering and the second reason to keep the trainer from causing further injury to the pokemon by moving them.

The idea that some trainers thought it was more noble or endearing to carry their pokemon after an injury made her want to grit her teeth. It was as insane as waving off a stretcher and a ambulence[sp?] to choose to carry a hurt victim to the hospital. Insanity, and while a Nurse Joy from the past might have just went straight to work, this Nurse Joy felt she had to set the record straight and as soon as she walked around the other side of the counter she literally started to berate the magician as viciously as possible.

"What in the hell are you doing?" "Recall your pokemon you mother ******** idiot!"

"What you think you are some saint for carrying him or something." "What ******** up ....s**t have you been learning?" "Do you know what injuries your pokemon have?" "Are you sure carrying him here isn't make it worst, and don't claim he is one of those types that hate pokeballs."

"We screen out any of that ridiculous breed as a ******** up mistake long time ago." "IN a situations which calls for a retreat, those mentally unstable pokemon only get trainers killed, and we won't bother with a student that have such a pokemon as a partner. Best let them keep the ******** as pets."

"Now, put that damn Growlithe in a pokeball before I stuff your head into that ******** trashcan and roll you down a ******** cliff."

There was nothing clean about this Nurse Joy's mouth as she literally tore into the girl.

"If this wasn't my damn job, and I needed the money, and they made me sign that no kill ...wavier ...you will find yourself in pieces so small right now ...a Growlithe couldn't find them all."

Her face was scarlet with rage as she took a moment to calm herself down as she declares in a low and dangerous voice.

"Feh, so I take it ...since you know so much why don't you heal him yourself?"

Nurse Joy counters back as she pick up the pokeball and literally toss it over her shoulder where a Porygon would literally catch it in it's mouth before putting it on the healing machine. Her hands on her hips as she was smothering with rage. The girl might like her, but the feeling wasn't reflected back. She hated stupid trainers and even more those that think they knew her job better than her.

"Otherwise, use a potion and revival him with that." "I will even give you one, but I have a feeling that won't work ...because ...you idiotic s**t ...he is unconscious." "What you call bruises might be deeper than skin deep and internal injuries can't always be seen ....you dumb ******** you don't touch the bruises you can see, he is unconscious for a reason ...he could simply have a concussion which the longer he stay out the more likely he won't wake up." "Thanks for killing your pokemon with some misplaced feelings of bonding ....

He could have had internal bruising, which is just the lightest that could be happening to him and you are still a dumb b***h for carrying him." "Also, I didn't mean a saint literally ...gods know you never get into anyone's heaven being that stupid."

"I meant, that you feel you are doing him some sort of favor ...by doing that, or as you so helpfully mention trying to bond with an unconscious pokemon by making him suffer more injury than what he might have originally have."

"Still dumb as ******** sighed openly as the pokeball came back to her. The porygon returning it as it hands it to the woman who put it on the counter.

"Tell me again, how to do my job, and I promise you ...you won't have the teeth to question me again." "Now get the ******** out of my sight, and hopefully ..you will win your next match." "I sure as hell don't want a dumb b***h under me in the healing team ...you probably will try to cure a cold with a water pill."

The insult was followed by another quick toss upwards as she turns and walks away. Leaving the girl to quite literally catch her pokemon.

Nen walked past a magician-looking girl as he entered the Pokémon Center and she elft it. She had her partner's PokéBall attached to the side of her hat. Neat. Red hair and green eyes. He liked green. He wondered for a moment what class she was in. Magicians were all about distraction and manipulation, which was a pretty Tactics-y thing, right? Then again, he knew nothing of the girl's personality. Perhaps she favored endurance. Or brutal offense. He put those thoughts aside as he approached the academy's foul-mouthed nurse. "Hello again," he said. "I was told to come here to get to the docks." He had seen the ocean on his way there, but not a sign of the boat that would take him to the Island.
