Odette had been lingering in the back of the room curious as to the goings on of the meeting. When things started getting bad, however, she bolted into one of the bathrooms, she took in a breath. "Albireo power--Make up!
She left the bathroom and glanced around, sighing. Why did bad things always happen...now the Senshi were going to get an even worse name.
She glanced around, seeing a few other Senshi, hesitating before hastening over.
She neared Eternal Sailor Europa, then swallowed. "Hello, I'm Sailor Albireo. s**t's really going down, isn't it?"

Sailor Chibimoon was a shade or two less optimistic but she had been spending her days watching horrible American talk shows that were awfully staged with Itsuki. Her current opinion of the typical American was not much higher than her opinion of the true terrorists in the room at the moment. Huddling down behind a chair was probably not going to last long, their cover almost fully blown by the fact that Europa had been kind enough to shout out 'princess' as she crossed the room. In a normal situation Chibimoon would have been pleased to hear the word before demanding the other girl call her Small Lady. Actually, that sounded like a good idea right about now. "Smal Lady. Less important than princess." It was a clipped word, her pink mouth in a hard line as she watched the faux!senshi prepare to do their dastardly deeds.
"I want to rip the bows off and make them eat them. Can we do that?" Her own strength was nothing too impressive when facing down a general but Europa was at least an Eternal. The girl that walked over was a little frilly but did not feel nor look quite like a super senshi. It was going to be interesting. "I will take attention. They do not know what to think of me." Standing up, pointing at the nearest Negaverse agent, her voice was a clarion call.
"Hey Negatrash! You have a thing or two to learn if you think you can be as cool as senshi!" A finger was dramatically pointed in the style of Phoenix Wright at his most justified instance of objection, a slim hip jutted out at a saucy angle, white-gloved hand slapped on it. "In the name of the Moon, you're punished!"

Attending some city council meeting had been the last thing on Arian’s mind when he’d walked in the front door of Saffy’s apartment, however he’d been met at the door by his cousin coming out and somehow her ‘I’m going to a city council meeting’ had become an ‘I’m going to a city council meeting and you’re coming with me.’
They’d gotten there pretty late and a lot of the seats had already been taken. It had been impossible to find two seats next to each other, although Arian had counted himself lucky that he’d managed to grab an aisle seat a couple of rows behind his cousin.
The meeting however had shaped up to be just as boring as he’d thought it would be, and Arian had been hard-pressed to keep maintaining an expression of polite interest on his face... Well at least he had until the green-haired lady had got up and started speaking. Her voice had been passionate enough to p***k his interest and he’d found himself focusing on her words.
He hadn’t heard the end of her speech – he’d needed to take a bathroom break, but as he was coming out Arian had heard a crash from outside the bathroom followed by what sounded like panicked sounds.
For a moment grey eyes had stared at the his henshin pen – well okay a long few moments, but it was Sailor Athene and not Arian who came out of the bathroom.
Eyes widened as he stared at the room – things seemed to have gone crazy while he was in the bathroom. And there was – good grief that was a dead body up front! Along with what looked like bits of ceiling.
There seemed to be other senshi nearby, so Athene made his way over in their direction “Hi, I’m Sailor Athene” he said awkwardly. “What’s going on?” Well apart from the dead body.

Seraphina had been collecting and cataloging information on the happened in Destiny City for some time and so when the meeting was announced to discuss what could be done Seraphina marked her calendar and made sure she would be one to attend.
Phina listened in the audience taking notes, not really having much to add. It was not as though she had experience any of the events the news spouted about one minute and tried to cover up the next. Aside from the coma panic, which left the city a wreck for some time she really only knew what she could collect here and there.
Needless to say it came as quite a surprise when the roof caved and the so called skirted and bowed terrorists starting popping up everywhere. It was chaos within minutes and it seemed Phina was getting a firsthand experience of what the meeting was called to order for.
She was scrambling for the nearest wall, having seen her life flash before her eyes when the ceiling gave way. "What on earth," she breathed out in a terrified huff.

Kyndall was blank with shock. She stared but didn't have much of a chance to move. She wasn't afraid but God knew she could have been. These people demonstrated a thirst for killing but she was stricken, glued to her spot. She sank down, her butt hitting the chair behind her and simply stared in quiet shock. She didn't bother to move when the real senshi made themselves known. The two factions together for the first time and not having an experienced eye, she couldn't tell the difference. For all she knew the ones killing were simply "going rogue" or some such nonsense.
In the broader sense something very vital inside of Kyndall was now broken. She was angry and now faced with the very source of people she believed were responsible for taking her daughter. Ironically, she was half right about this, looking at the Negaverse and not the senshi. She wanted to grab one of them with no regard for her personal safety and demand to know why they took Harmony and why they were killing these people. What they hoped to gain. Shock and a deep sense of how to begin kept her immobile.
This shock and an inability to make the first move would not last forever, however. Soon something would bubble over past boiling but she wasn't sure what that was yet. When it rains, it pours and right now the sky was pitch black and wide open. She went from never having experienced anything like this and not knowing this world existed to being surrounded by it in just two short weeks. It was probably understandable that she didn't know where she stood now or who to believe in.

Wow, thought Borgite as she stared off at a very pink senshi, did they really think that they were all that cool? She didn't actually have much of a problem letting them think that, it just seemed a little bit sad, you know, comparing the senshi to the Negaverse...
She couldn't take the starseed from every single civilian or senshi she encountered, but she could sure drain as many of them as she could. Right? "Really? Because I feel fine!" Right! "Come and get me, senshi scum!"
Avalon really had to wonder what was wrong with most senshi. Introducing themselves? Great idea, really, it was important to know who you were fighting Negaverse monsters with. Only not. Time to introduce yourself was later, after making sure that you weren't being too maligned. She hefted her apple and chucked it hard at a television camera, slamming into the side and knocking it offline. It was a good idea, really, except for the fact that she now had to go get the weapon she'd hurled across City Hall. That would put her inconveniently close to the Negaverse group, but... what could you do.
(She would have to thank Valhalla for the pitching lessons later.)

"Oh yeah. "Cool". The Junior ******** Five Dollar Hooker look really suits." Realgar snarled, half under his breath, catching an civilian by the collar as they tried to bolt out the back, and then shoving them back into the room, coming away with a ball of collected energy as he sent them sprawling with a predatory curl of his lip. This particular Nega's weapon wasn't immediately evident, which was because he'd scattered them behind him, to slow down and stumble anyone who did manage to get past him. Senshi especially, he'd started to take note, tended to wear shoes that didn't really loan themselves toward trodding on spikey, albeit dull, pieces of metal that turned underfoot or dug into treads and delicate dressy shoes.
Most of the senshi were still unfamiliar to him, and no doubt vice versa, but it would have been damned hard to misjudge his intent. He'd been set to watching one of the doors, and he had no intent to let anyone get through if he could avoid it.
Honestly though, maybe he was just getting old but some of the crap these kids wore... he'd swear to god they were financing this bullshit by selling photos to fetishists.
Painite was putting in some serious theater practice, and he hoped it was making the impression that they hoped for, since things were obviously about to heat up. With his own weapons not obvious, he wasn't sure how the civilians would receive his presence, perhaps mistaking him for some kind of Hells Angel connection to the Senshi? That would be ******** hysterical in the press.

Even in the heat of the moment, Sugilite took a moment to weigh the value of her first starseed. Tch, the power flowing from the crystal was barely anything. No matter, there was an entire room filled with energy. And there they were, popping up like rats. The real senshi. She could see them hurrying to each other, pushing through the frightened people. Grinning at them, she grabbed another panicking person as they tried to shove away from her and reached into them, feeling the energy, and pulling it out.
"What's this? Why don't you join us, sisters? Come now, there's no need to be shy! Join your fellow senshi, help us out! Why bother trying to be coy? Everyone in Destiny City knows what we're really like! Let's show them!"

Europa had never properly seen Chibimoon in the heat of battle, and her opinions of the pink-haired scout weren't diminished by witnessing this new side of her. The princess was a sight to behold - a vision in frills and fury. The senshi turned to the two newly-arrived, unfamiliar senshi: Albireo and Athene. "Let's stick together," she suggested. "If we focus our attacks we're stronger than if we fight alone."
Not to mention it never hurt to having an ally at your back in a fight. "I don't see what's stopping you," she added to Chibimoon. Europa suspected she herself would stop short of making the negas eat their limp, fake bows - but whatever kept morale up.
"Let's show them what real senshi fight for," she proclaimed, turning her sights on the catcalling nega, Borgite. "Truth and justice!" The American way, right? She had no illusions that these panicked civilians might suddenly support their friendly neighborhood space aliens, but it was worth a try. None of the senshi present could exactly stand idly by and let the Negaverse carry out a massacre under false pretenses.
Setting her face into a stony look, Europa flung a hand out, targeting Borgite. "Europa deep ocean terror!" she bellowed, intending to plunge the murderous woman into her own personal, temporary hell.

Michael has been sitting in the back when everything started going to hell. The people of Destiny City really thought senshi were terrorists? He'd fought terrorists (not directly, but who was going to say he didn't?), and he was pretty sure terrorists didn't go around saving civilians and kittens. Regardless of what he thought though, the people of Destiny City were obviously all confused about what the heck was going on.
He wished he'd been sitting closer to the front when the roof came down and the girls in skirts appeared. Michael jumped to his feet as the woman on stage was killed and something shining pulled from her body. What the hell was that?? Somehow he thought he knew, but he didn't want to believe it.
Whatever was going on, it was easy for him to realize these people were not senshi. He would have been able to tell from their power auras, but this...? This was just... wrong.
People were running for cover, and then suddenly he felt the real senshi's energy appear close by. So there had been some in the crowd? But who? Michael ducked around a corner, pulling his motorcycle helmet over his head for extra identity protection as he powered up. His entire outfit he'd been wearing, helmet included, vanished and was replaced with some kind of long sleeved tunic and fur lined boots. It wasn't his style of choice, but at least he now had his weapon, as small and non-deadly as it was.
Sessrumnir stepped back into the meeting room to see who to take out first. If they all focused their attacks, they could at least bring each psudo senshi down faster.
"Wonder Woman, what did you do to your arm?" he called over to Pasiphae when he caught sight of her, giving her a little wink and heading towards the stage. Yeah, he realized that she could catch on that she'd met him before, but right now wasn't really the time for him to worry about things like that.
He wanted to attack the woman who had killed the civilian, turn her into the police or something. These people were the real terrorists. He may be new at all this, but he wasn't going to stand around and do nothing. Sessrumnir scrambled up to the stage, retrieving his storm glass from subspace in just enough time for him to grip onto it and throw a punch at Painite. He had nothing against fighting women, especially if they were murderers. 125 HP/EP

There was the first attack fired off. Sugilite heard the shout, only senshi were stupid enough to have powers that required them to yell like idiots each time it went off. Better speed up, in a moment or two she'd probably have her own hands full. She still held the struggling civilian, draining them slowly, but now she reached into them and pulled out the next starseed. The feeling was truly exquisite.
Not bothering to talk anymore, she dropped them and looked around at the other civilians, seeking out a next target. A green-haired woman sat, staring blankly from her chair. Not even struggling. Well, that would make things quick. She turned and began to advance on Kyndall, with the crowd flowing and rushing back around her. No one wanted to be near one of the "senshi".

The Senshi of Shame peeked from her hiding place in the voting booth, and what she saw made her stomach churn even more. The battle had only intensified, resulting in more drained civilians, more carnage. But her spirits rose somewhat when she saw Europa join the pink-haired Chibi Moon. No, she had never met her, but if Europa trusted in her, then that was good enough for Pasiphae. More Senshi were appearing that she didn't know, a mint ballerina and a black-haired male Senshi, but this wasn't the time for introductions.
The shout of "Wonder Woman"made her look over to Sessrumnir, another face that wasn't familiar to her. The greeting was familiar, but with everything going on around her... Pasiphae just didn't have the time to try and remember from where! Especially not when, not too far away, it looked like another civilian was going to get attacked.
Pasiphae hobbled her way between Kyndall and Sugilite, cursing herself mentally the whole time. She was useless; she couldn't protect herself, much less an innocent. There were so many other, better Senshi... why was she doing this? But if she didn't... if she didn't, what if that civilian got hurt before someone else could come? That thought spurned her on, and she called on her attack to protect the civilian, if only for a short time, "Pasiphae Shameful Isolation!" Her beads immediately snapped off in response, shining with maroon energy that formed around her. The shield protecting her now stood between the civilian and the Negaverse agent, but she knew that it was only a temporary solution. Turning her head to look at the green-haired civilian, she pleaded, "Quickly--RUN!"
Then, she gave another shout, hoping that the closest ally would hear and come to her aid, someone better equipped to handle the situation, "Over here... I need some help!"

Sugilite slowed down as the senshi hurried, her face contorted in pain, in between her and the stunned woman. Good gracious, she looked an absolute wreck. Sugilite smiled, thanking her lucky stars. Or rather, lucky ... something else. She wasn't expecting any luck coming from the heavenly bodies, not anymore.
Sugilite paused as the senshi shouted an attack, muscles tensing, prepared for an attack. As the shield went up however, she relaxed. Defensive magic? She could deal with that. It wouldn't be hard to get the senshi to lower it, all she had to do was provide incentive.
"Trying to protect them? Why sister, why would you do that? Don't you remember our mission? Or should I remind you? Here, let me jog your memory dear."
She grabbed another civilian, a young woman, dragging energy out of her as slowly and painfully as possible, trying to egg the senshi to drop her shield. Her eyes watched the woman closely, and she grinned widely. Come on, come on, run to defend your precious little innocent.

With Borgite hopefully locked up in whatever nightmares and eldritch abomination's Europa's attack had sent her way, the senshi of the deep found her attention drawn by Pasiphae's call for aid. Spotting the false senshi that was menacing her teammate, Europa made a rapid run for the trio, arm outstretched.
She was going to tackle Sugilite to the ground and rip off as much of her shameful halloween costume as she could manage, and that was just how it was going to be.
"I don't know who you're calling sister, because you're sure as hell not ours!" she snarled, one hand reaching for the ribbons hanging from the small of the negaverser's back, the other hand reaching for her hair to give it a sharp pull. "Let's show everyone who you really are!"
She yanked as hard as she could, and hoped that it worked out in her favor. Perhaps pulling on various parts of Sugilite's person would make her release the civilian from her grasp.

Kathryn had proceeded far enough to get a clear enough view of the door she was trying to escape out of. The "costumed" young man guarding it though put a damper on her motions. The room behind her was in chaos. Kathryn shuddered as she saw more and more city folk being attacked. This was not how she wanted to spend her evening. It didn't even look as if she could leave either. Talk about closed quarters.
Thinking quickly she darted into the ladies restroom and locked herself into a cubicle. For now it was the safest place she could think to look. Maybe she'd be overlooked.
