Recorded late, but what the hell.

Have done the Ludi PQ with archerboy and woo, it's cool. It's enough that I can overlook the loud and annoying color scheme and occasionaly disturbing NPC's. (Ludi is toy-themed. What the hell are nutcrackers doing there?) All I can say is that I'm glad none of it is based off of Barbie and/or her illustrious Dream House.

First PQ was terminated when Crim lost his connection with no fault to him, second and third I was the leader, as dumb as that sounds, and we got through twice. Well, meat died and I would've been his faithful sidekick in death like always, but I had that pesky leader title hanging over me. That, and I had an ungodly number of white pots and unagi, and a cleric that eventually found his way to the same side of the screen as me.

I got 100 blue pots the first time, which, after all I'd gone through, was a crappy prize. Much better than the 20 you get with Kerning, but still... eh. Can't complain, really, got the exp. Second time I got a black justice cape, which I look at as emergency cash. I won't be making level 55 anytime soon.

*yawn*

Haven't been on Maple in two days, I've been tired. Maybe tomorrow.

Sorry it took so long for me to get to your comment beveee. I know nutcrackers are toys... sort of... they just don't fit in very well with Ludi, for me anyway. That, and I never liked nutcrackers to begin with. They're ugly in a way I can't explain.

Anyhoo, must record. Toast is level 12, I think, and did 'cutie' for the first time. I've asked him to do it before, and he never did, just got mad and did the hissy thing. But for the curious, it's this laying down thing with his tail up and his paws out, and his butt sort of in the air. Odd position. I wish his ears would twitch like the kitties in the baskets in the Kerning PQ and at the pet food selling stands.

Goal is to get him to 15 before he reverts and I decide I want a bunny instead of reviving him. How odd would it be to have your cash slots filled with old pets?

Couple things.

Doing fire boars I got a gold egg. I mean... me. Gold egg. Me. Me whose been at those stupid fire boars for four levels with two different chars for Arwen's shoe. I have dreams of me getting the shoe and taking it to her, and then her not taking it because it isn't her shoe. Not the right size or something.

Anyway. I knew immediately there was no selling it, because I wanted to try it. My curiosity was stronger than the lure of 100-150k. So I took the thing back to Mad Bunny and he gave me a paltry 100 exp. It was about what I expected, but I was fulfilled. I'd had a MS 'rare event' and it was just fine. Will I sell the next one? Lol. Nope.

Second thing, I broke a mil today. Almost as unbelievable as the Golden Egg. I never thought I would, that I'd be stuck in the low 100k's forever. But I got a 60% shoe speed, and sold it for 1.4 mil, and after tax it was still a mil. About 1.1 mil.

So I'm happy. Lower made level 25 too, so it's all good.

Cat dries up in seven days. He needs about 50 more closeness points to get him to level 13.

Marathon Maple just finished.

Took my archerboy to Ludi and finished off all the quests, except for the jump one, which can burn in hell. Now except for the PQ, I never have to go back.

Till my mage needs to finish all the quests off.

Well hell. But the point remains. Surprise surprise, got the cat up to 14 today. In other news, got Icarus cape 1, which was not a surprise. I was outbid on Basil for 3 by one of my guildmembers, but that's cool. Not sure he realized I'd bid. Finished scrolling the viper, so now it's weapon attack is 61, I think. Very nice. Almost a really bad Olympus. While I was at it I also scrolled my gloves for another dex, and got the speed on my snowshoes up to 5 and I think I also got 1 in for jump.

Put a bunch of scrolls up on Basil. 60% gloves att, 60% one hand axe att, and a 10% cape luk. We'll see what happens. Bought safety charms, and boy, love those things. Easiest way to get out of Eos Tower; die with a safety charm. God I hate that thing. It's like a huge jump quest.

Did the insane thing and got all 12 hours of double exp/double drop on May 11. Didn't get any outstanding drops, but leveled mageboy into his new mandress and archerboy one and a half. Tried on thiefboy, but I was bored of his monsters.

Did zupins for a very long time. No maple weapons. Not really expecting any, though I'm killing the right thing for the Lama, Wagner, and... one other, I forget.

Debating on whether or not to buy the Lama or Wagner. Wagner is definitely the better deal.

I've run into this before too, and also random people giving me cash and commenting my odd appearance on my mage. to combat the evil children of today's age i say im taking a poo or brb doing a chore, and i leave them sit for an hour or so to see if they'll leave or wait patiently training the whole time, i reward them if they do so but if they dont i quietly go about my business.
and yes nice guys are getting walked on, we are some of the proud few...

p.s. the most generous amount of something i've gotten from a random person was 100k and im friends with him now

Moon - I've given up completely. I've shut off my trades and party, and if I didn't do Basil so often I'd turn off my whisper and chat too. No one's ever given me anything, so you're pretty lucky. A few days ago I gave some kid a candle and then five minutes later he whispers me asking if I can get him nine more. *shakes head*

Jedi - Lol. Extreme coincidences. My niece turned one, so she was saved from the sick herself because all she had was apple juice and cake frosting. I didn't get sick myself... and I don't know why. I ate everything.

Today double exp was a wash. Never happened. Whatta buncha junk. Hopefully it'll be back on at noon. Mage and thief need to level.
