Veldrin the Shadow ((sorry for the late reply...been really busy the last couple days)) As E Rock rolled away, the champ slowly started working his way up to one knee. Once he got into a kneeling position, he would continue to try to rub some sensation back into his damaged leg while he kept an eye on the challenger. (it's cool) *As they locked eyes, E Rock tried to take advantage of a kneeling opponent by charging for a dropkick to chest.*

Major would look to remind his opponent that just because somebody was kneeling, that doesn't necessarily make them a sitting duck as he tried to lunge forward and catch his charging opponent around the waist and, if successful, would grit his teeth try to ignore the pain in his leg long enough to attempt to lift E Rock up, pivot 180 degrees, and plant him on the canvas with a huge Double A-style Spinebuster.

(That's an innovative counter) *The champ was able to catch E Rock right before the dropkick and slam E Rock down for the spinebuster.*

Once Major drove E Rock's spine into the barely padded pine that made up the ring mat, the champ would try to hook the challenger's far leg and go for a cover.

"Stubborn sonuvabitch...", Major muttered when E Rock grabbed the damn rope. Once the champ got back to his feet, he would try to grab his opponent's legs in order to try dragging him toward the middle of the ring. If he was successful, Devastation would then attempt to cross E Rock's legs into a figure-four position and roll him over into a Texas Cloverleaf.

The ref tried to tell the Major release E Rock.*

Major was starting to grow more and more ticked off as the challenger continued to hold onto the ropes for dear life.
"Come on, Major, let him go. 1...2...", the referee said, giving Devastation until the count of five to release his opponent before he would be disqualified.
If the ref wanted him to let go of E Rock so bad, the champ would oblige him, releasing his grip on the ankles of the JBL wannabe...just before he attempted to drive the sole of his combat boot into the smaller man's abdomen. If the stomp hit it's mark, the Devil Dog would try to follow up with a good old-fashioned Garvin Stomp.

When E Rock rolled out of the ring, just as Major was about to start methodically picking apart the challenger's limbs, the champ was sorely tempted to roll out of the ring behind him and begin stomping the ever-loving crap out of him, but Devastation showed restraint instead, stepping back to the center of the ring, and simply saying "Start counting."

He held his midsection and stared at the Major.* 3....4... *E Rock then began to circle the ring, waiting to get back in.*

As the challenger began circling the ring, Major had a few choice words for him. "What's the matter? Scared, punk?, he taunted as he kept an eye on E Rock. "Why don't you save yourself a world of pain, and just GET LOST!"

" Why don't you save yourself a world of pain, and just GET LOST!" 6... *While the ref tried to hold the Major back from E Rock, the challenger grabbed the IC title from the ring announcer and then entered the ring. Seeing this, the ref then grabbed the title from him and handed the title back to the ring announcer with his back turned from the superstars. If the Major tried to attack him during this time, E Rock would try to take advantage of a distracted ref by kicking the Major in his family jewels.*

(E-Rock wins via Auto Hit. New Champion via E-Rock low blow, and then hitting the back swag. )
