Sachie Whitby zrofyre Sachie Whitby So the Quatermaster is the guy/gal who turns down our beds at night right? do you have some kind of devious plan? Maybe we can "kidnap" our guests, give them cute maid and butler uniforms to wear, and try to put them to work turning down beds at day/night and cleaning the ship for us.... or use them to turn to start a host bar. The Quatermaster can be in charge of getting this accomplished.
Sorry.
This is one of the ideas that I think falls under the:
"Great for RP, not so great for the ball"
category.
I don't think guests want to be slaves.
And some might feel uncomfortable.
So I'm going to have to veto this.

zrofyre Other options for consideration: Rigger : Maintained the rigging and released and furled the sails. A typically more hazardous job. Boatswain / carpenter / shipwright : Maintained the soundness of the boat and the general maintenance of the vessel Blacksmith
That's just an idea though, in case you are stuck. x3

That's just an idea though, in case you are stuck. x3 that could be an idea biggrin but we cant force people to be things, has to be by choice. still a great idea though ,that can be used.

Then we'd take them and create a floating cabaret show . . . musicians, trapeze and all. It's a good thing we aren't in a place to take over the world, or the world would be in for some serious ???'s. ( all in fun mind you )

That's just an idea though, in case you are stuck. x3There is always the stowaway idea. Or a 'new pirate' whom is really a landlubber, doesn't yet have their 'sea / air' legs. ( I'm thinking like the geico : one of the cavemen is trying to work for the alaska crab fishing boats commercial ) If going for dark . . . What about the naysayer / doom and gloom pirate? Someone who has all these 'tales' of things that have gone wrong ( but take it to obscenely ridiculous lengths that are obviously made up ) and dire warnings . . .

eran no shi looks like we're gonna be surviving off fairy bread, toast and cereal, guys XD Oh but it's much more than bread. It's Fairy toast. LOL My magic can provide a full meal and drinks included. *Waves wand and a bottle of honey mead appears.* Mead anyone? *opens bottle and takes a swig.*. (this is not how I really roll play it's just for fun right now, )

I think you should be what you want to be. Seconded. If a musician you want to be . . . then be. Apparently ( looking through some info ) musicians were highly prized, sought after / fought for, shanghaied .
