Setsuna Makube ~ Mist Nin Genin ~ Taijutsu ~ Medic Nin ~ Jiongu ~
Chakra Pool: 165 ~ AC: 2100 ~ Ryo: ~ 1200 With the other within the ten foot radius, small shocks alerted Setsuna to the other's movements. The male easily kept up with the other and while Inka moved in, Setsuna moved back. A good thing too since the other had used a technique that fried everything within a nine foot radius. Whatever electric strings did not escape the blast were fried but he still had at least seven feet to detect where Inka may have been coming from.
Staying out of the blast zone, he waited for it to mostly be over before sending his wires back in. This time they came in from Inka's blind spot, where his eye had been blinded by the Flickering Light Technique, to latch on to him.
Techniques used: Ayatsuri Raikou no Jutsu [ Manipulated Lightning Technique ] Rank: B Official Description: Creates several long strands of electricity from each of the user’s fingers. The strands move as the user commands, and can render an opponent wrapped by them unconscious. In addition to this, the strands function like regular wires and have the ability to bind objects and people, although they are very hot and can burn through wood. Technique lasts for five posts.

Inka Hizaraxxxx˪ ˲ 'Bang!' ࿇ Inka stood, waiting, one hand on his hip. When Setsuna lashed out with the wires once again, Inka finally pulled out his instrument; the Bullroarer. It was a small metal spear-head, hollow and with three holes. Spinning it caused a sound like no other to reverberate through the ruins, like a metal beast screeching, but it's tone changed depending on where the instrument was as it was swung. With a swing and a twirl, the air around Inka started to explode, and the strings were knocked away easily, his eye sight back to normal. Inka didn't move, this time waiting for Setsuna to try and press his advantage against the renounced Shakuton clan member.
"I'm sorry." Inka finally spoke. "What was that about not being ready to become a Chuunin? Are you sure that was to me. Your arm looks pretty bad, after all. Don't want to get an infection, do you." The Genin, stood, instrument still swinging.

Setsuna Makube ~ Mist Nin Genin ~ Taijutsu ~ Medic Nin ~ Jiongu ~
Chakra Pool: 145 ~ AC: 2100 ~ Ryo: ~ 1200 What, first the explosions and now this? Scowling slightly, Setsuna reeled his wires back in and could only guess that the other was a performer type shinobi as well. If the other was trying to goad him into attacking then it certainly would not work. "Am I wrong? Your first attacks were a spectacular failure since I used your own smokescreen against you. Not to mention your attack landed only because I allowed it." scoffed Setsuna. Focusing his chakra between his hands, he created a ball of healing chakra that he used to heal the bruises on his arm. "At least you have the sense not to initiate the attack anymore since it is futile. Although why you keep going is beyond me. But I suppose I can wait out your cheap parlor tricks until you decide to finally give up." The bruises were not completely gone but all the minor burns and bruises were taken care of, his focus still on Inka of course.

Inka Hizaraxxxx˪ ˲ 'Bang!' ࿇ Inka smirked. "That's still one more than you've landed on me. Ha! You're nothing more than a one-trick pony! And you're trick is useless." The bladed end of the Inka's instrument, swinging still on its length of rope, was pulled by the rope and it's direction changed to piercing through the air, straight down, silently. "However. Our time is up, isn't it? Our scores will have to stand as is."

Setsuna Makube ~ Mist Nin Genin ~ Taijutsu ~ Medic Nin ~ Jiongu ~
Chakra Pool: 145 ~ AC: 2100 ~ Ryo: ~ 1200 Snorting Setsuna replied "I do believe you are forgetting how you fell for my decoy clone and the shock you received realizing you were duped. And I'm a one trick pony? You just loved using that little technique to get out of the line of danger and use that same trick with the exploding ball. Your parlor tricks are cheap and ineffective."
As if he could not see the rope the other had or the way he pulled on it. This male was into parlor tricks and Setsuna could already tell he needed to move. Nothing coming from the sides, as far as he could tell with what he could see within his peripheral vision. Yet this male's tactics were obvious and he would try to hit him in his blind spot, most likely a sneak attack from behind again.
Stepping to the side, Setsuna managed to just avoid the blade coming down upon his head and his wires instantly entangled the rope. "Your trick didn't work pony." His wires were fading, he made them shoot along the rope as fast as he could, wanting them to reach Inka before they faded completly.

Half-Step Simple :: C Rank A very short step in one direction that is used to dodge incoming blows and set up for a counterattack. The range of movement cannot be more than two feet, but if used correctly, this range can serve as more than enough to avoid most Taijutsu attacks.

Inka Hizaraxxxx˪ ˲ 'Bang!' ࿇ Inka swung the rope wide, and the triangular end of the instrument began to rotate once more, sound vibrating inside of its metal shell. The air began exploding once more, knocking against the very rope of the instrument, battering at the electric strings, preventing them from climbing up the instrument's length. But Inka kept swinging his end of the rope and the blade rotated, sharp edges glinting in the sun, and headed for Setsuna's neck, ready to slice through soft skin.
[ That wasn't an attack, Haru - but my bad for not being more detailed. And I think we have gone an hour over our limit, haha! ]

████████████████████ ███████████████ {❊} ██████████ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx↳ ❝MI YOUNG ROO ❞ xxxxxxxmizukage Mi had been completely immobile during the duration of this spar. Both Genin were aggresive and wasted no time using what they learned and applying it against one another. Inka had been the first person she had tried getting along with in the village prior to her training to become the Mizukage. She had always expected great things from him and was happy to see that she was not wrong in her assumptions about his future standing as a Shinobi. Setsuna was another promising Genin as well. She had only had the chance to interact with him recently, as his teacher but she was more than convinced in that short span of training time that he was meant for greater things. Watching him today only affirmed her thoughts. It would be a hard decision, one she would make and announce before the second round. Jumping down from her perch, she moved inbetween the two of them. Having activated her Jutsu on her decent she lashed out with her water whip. She aimed to knock Inka's weapons rotation and cease the activity altogether. "Enough. This fight is over." She announced, tensing in case Inka got a little carried away or if Setsuna decided not to heed her call.

Setsuna Makube ~ Mist Nin Genin ~ Taijutsu ~ Medic Nin ~ Jiongu ~
Chakra Pool: 145 ~ AC: 2100 ~ Ryo: ~ 1200 Having been prepared to parry and move in to attack, Setsuna felt disappointed when Mi entered and called an end to the fight. Honestly it had been a bit close and the medic shinobi was slightly worried it could go either way. After all, he did want to make it through and perhaps fight Flou later if this was how it was going to go. Before the next match though, he had to do some serious training to update his techniques.
Putting his kunai away, the genin relaxed and stood at attention as he awaited the results of the match.

Inka Hizaraxxxx˪ ˲ 'It was all useless! It couldn't save her! Useless!' ࿇ Inka yanked the rope, reeling the weapon back in, ceasing his part in the battle completely. He smiled to Mi, always glad to see her - one of the very people Inka trusted. "Yes, Mi s- I mean, Lady Mizukage." Inka looked down, ashamed he'd momentarily forgotten how to properly address the woman. "Sorry, Lady Mizukage." Inka pouted, not wanting to have made any offense. He shifted, waiting to be reprimanded.

████████████████████ ███████████████ {❊} ██████████ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx↳ ❝MI YOUNG ROO ❞ xxxxxxxmizukage Mi blinked in quick succession, confused as to why it Inka looked so happy to see her. She was used to Satoshi smiling away like some madman all of the time for no particular reason and because of that she could not draw the connection for a smile and Inka. His happy nature induced her to smile in response, the expression lightening up her features and making her look younger; her age in fact. Suddenly he looked ashamed, cutting short what he was about to say. He apologized, reverting to a more formal tone with her. This dulled her mood a little. Inka was her friend. A friend she had approached on her own and made on her own without the help of anyone else. The reality of her responsibilities crashed down on her shoulders once more. Masking it with a playful gesture, Mi reached out and ruffled his hair. "It's okay. Just don't get caught addressing me informally in front of the elders. They will lecture me for being to lenient." She said, trying to lighten the mood once more. The elders were formidable. The complained about everything that summed her up. Being a young Mizukage made it worse. Looking to Setsuna she cleared her throat, ceasing her playful teasing of Inka. Addressing both of them she bowed. "The results of the match will be announced in conjunction with the finishing of the other Genin matches. For the time being be patient and get some rest." She looked to both of them, her nurturing side returning. "It would be better if you guys went to the hospital just to get a little check up." She suggested, her medical training kicking in.
[ooc : Because I know both of you guys and my words would seem biased i'm going to talk with Ed on this matter [or Mana] and get a second appeal. I'll let you guys know by tmw who advances. << ]

Vosa l|Breath|l Sihvat Don't think. Breathe. As usual, Breath moved at his own pace, far too relaxed to be urgent. He was mildly disappointed on arrival to see that a fight had already be completed. Still, he was very relaxed about it. "Sorry I missed it, Mi." He spoke, as he continued pacing towards the group. "It seems you were able to handle it." Breath's staff rested on the ground beside him, leaning against his shoulder and torso. Deciding that his full range of vision was more important than having refined vision, Breath pulled his goggles off of his eyes, and put them on his forehead. Keeping a smooth motion, he continued to slide the hood back, revealing his shaved head.
Breath grabbed his staff in one hand and looked at the two genin. "Well done, I'm sure. I am glad to see that nobody was hurt.". He looked about, deciding on a pillar to roost on. As he walked towards it, he raised his hand for a slight wave to the two genin, before he approached the pillar. With one hand, he tossed the staff up the pillar, as though it was a twig. He then crouched a bit, and easily leaped to the top of the pillar, catching the staff before sitting down with it.
He waited casually for the next match.

Setsuna Makube ~ Mist Nin Genin ~ Taijutsu ~ Medic Nin ~ Jiongu ~
Chakra Pool: 145 ~ AC: 2100 ~ Ryo: ~ 1200 Well there was certainly nothing wrong with waiting. Setsuna could use the time to train and such in the meantime. After all, he was fairly sure that he had done so well he would pass. It was interesting to see the other smile like she had but it quickly went away when Inka acted more formally around her. Now that they had been given permission to leave, Setsuna nodded his head "Sure thing, Mi. And try smiling more, it's nice to see you look happy." With that said, Setsuna turned and found another shinobi had come. "Thank you, sir. I'm off now." Passing Breath by, he left the training grounds and headed on his way to stop by the hospital before he headed to the dojo for training.

Inka Hizaraxxxx˪ ˲ 'It was all useless! It couldn't save her! Useless!' ࿇ Inka blinked and nearly flinched when Mi reached out - surely she wasn't going to strike him!? - but paused, eyes open, as his hair was gently ruffled. Almost immediately Inka relaxed under the touch and gave another, slightly smaller, smile to Mi. But it showed relief. "Thanks, Mi." Inka spoke softly, looking up to her, one of the very few people Inka was comfortable being close to. Bowing his head, still with a small smile, the Genin left the area as well, heading for the hospital, as she had suggested.

Satoshi Hatake Konin || Ninjutsu || Samurai || Hatake || Kirigakure
Satoshi stood upon the ceiling of the large room that had just held the first bout. He did not like the fact that there was a time limit placed on the match, leaving him to work out a technical victor. There had not been enough between the two Genin to see them truly exert themselves. Satoshi had been watching the match, upside down but away from all the smoke and explosions. Once the Genin had left the area, Satoshi released the chakra from it's hold on the ceiling, causing him to drop. As he fell, Satoshi slowly flipped upright before landing on one of the pillars ahead of Breath. As he landed, Satoshi pushed back his katanas to keep them from hitting the pillar. He spotted Mi at the center and thought about the way she had smiled at Inka. Crossing his arms, Satoshi began to calculate the winner.
[Setsuna showed use of higher ranked jutsu but not many. Inka's strategy and use of ninja tools were superiro and well executed, although most forms of attack were weaker. I favor Inka]

苗代栗鼠♒ Risu Nawashiro ♒ • [Profile] x [Kirigakure] x [Genin] x [Musical Prodigy] x [Chakra pool: 200] • Running his fingers through the mop of jet-black hair that fell messily in front of his face, an idiotically-large grin spread across his face, making the young Genin appear rather dim-witted despite his true intelligence.
Obnoxiously chuckling to himself as he insulted damn-near everything in sight in his head, Risu Nawashiro arrived at the exam grounds, ready for the next step in his career as a shinobi. A wave of confidence radiated from him, the long sleeves of his shirt seemingly rustling with it. Removing a wooden flute from the inside of it, he played a short and quick scale to announce his presence.
"Hey, baka! Tell me..."
Addressing anyone able to hear him, his stupid expression somehow managed to grow worse, both eyes squinted in non-chalant confusion.
"...am I in the right place?"
