Aaaaand once again Cainan turns red. He looks down at his drink and decides he better not order another one, the way he's finishing them with these two around he'll be too drunk to work. "That...was a miss communication I think." He looked to Flame for confirmation.

Flame just chuckled a bit."No my dear i'm bi and my friend here is straight i just didnt know that....So really there is nothing between me and him." He moved close to the young one."So what part are you taking in the up coming festiveitys?"

shydia just blushes and hides her face again. "oh... i see." she looks deep in to her bowl of stew, taking a few bites. she then looks back up to him, "oh me? i'm carving the pumpkins! i'v told i'm handy with i knife." she says with a smile.

"Ah so that's your handywork then?!" Cainan was impressed. "Do you do wood carvings as well?" He wondered where she had learned the skill or if she just came to it naturally. If she wasn't already under training then he thought she should consider an apprenticeship.

shydia giggles lightly at the two. "um no i'v only worked pumpkin, i taught my self to do it too." she says happily. "but im sure if i put my mind to i i could learn something else too." she then turns to flame a blush returning to her face. "um, thanks! but what are you two doing to prep for the harvest ?"

A gust of wind blew papers in the group's direction as Tir (hands full of bottles) scrambled after them.
Tir was in charge of fireworks and decorum of the square not that she would get much done at this rate!
She huffed indignantly as she finished gathering the last few papers and hurriedly took them to the lee of the shelter where everyone was gathered admiring pumpkins and the like.
"Sorry about the intrusion--" she spoke clearly her voice like an arrow whizzing past your ear or the wind through trees in spring whistling.
Tir's head nodded and she set down an array ofbrightly colored glass bottles which were to serve as lights for lanterns and pumpkins. These were safer than fire which could burn the withering crop of the half-droughted town.

"Ah, well with your skill you might consider talking to a carpenter. I'm sure you'd make a good apprentice." He smiled at her, wondering if he should politely remove himself and let Flame work his charm un-interrupted."Oh, nothing as fun as carving pumpkins. I've been busy repairing the farm tools. Just a moment..." Cainan found his chance. He excused himself as he stood from the table. He smiled at Tir as he bent a picked up a paper that she had once again dropped. "It's no intrusion. Do you need a hand there?"

Tiri-ithil took her time gathering her thoughts and her papers as well as a bag of tools she had on her person.
The bottles were numerous and small and the pumpkins which were supposedly carved at every door were not in their place... very few were at any rate!
"I could use some help as a matter of fact--" she slirred with a smile and grabbed up a few opening the thick leather bag to reveal more...perhaps a hundred or more!
((Im testing something seeing if this works... If you help Tir with this small quest a reward might be in order! ))

Today had gotten off track for Cainan. No matter, he was ahead and taking half a day off wouldn't hurt him. He spread his arms wide. "Well I've just finished my meal and am free for the time being. If I can offer you a strong pair of arms and an able body just say the word ma'am" He only hoped it didn't involve...drinking anyt of those potions. Tiri-ithil had a bit of a reputation and he hadn't had much first hand experience with her.

Tir shook her head; the look he ave made her smile again hinking he would endure some potion of bitter taste and strange effect.
This made Tir nod and silently laugh to herself.
"I would love if you could help me place one of these glowing bottles in each pumpkin throughout the town. THere is approximately... 137 bottles so find a pumpkin for each. "
Tir's eyes it up with the prospect of getting help from others as well as being able to finish her own decorating jobs...
"I will take half the bag with me so find me if you run out."
Tir turned around. "Thank you for the help ---And by the way--the houses did not set the pumpkins up as planned and thus you will probably ahve to hunt for a few. Feel free to ask for help. If you need me i will be in the Tower..."
With that she sauntered off to place the other half of the bottles into pumpkins and finish the decorum.

Cainan breathed a quiet sigh of relief. This was a simple enough task. He turned back to the bar. "Anyone who's got a spare moment, Tiri needs help lighting the pumpkins. Grab some bottles and get to work!" He grabbed a handful himself and waved to Flame and Shydia. "I'll see you two later. Flame, don't forget about that map I promised you."

Flame was hopeing to charm the girl into staying with him."I bet you will be great at anything that you put your mind to."He moved closer to her on the bench."I just got here in town and my friend there is a smith."He had a bit more of his stu."So i take it you live here in town?"

Flare walked into the inn and looked around for an empty table before ordering some food. She was tired and hungry and the Harvest Festival was just around the corner. She had nothing to contribute either.

((you are correct! biggrin annnd i have new items coming out almost weekly ^^ so this is a good thing :> *forgot she started this before she lost her job irl*sorry for the delay btw. ^^0))
