Amrita startled, looking over her shoulder when she heard the clang of the near-dropped blowdryer. What a weird instrument! "Y-yes?" She finally turned from the fish and moved closer to him, taking a seat on the floor and settling to play with the straps of her fitted tank top. "I-if it helps, I don't think we know them either..." She knew Xiu and Xiu obviously knew her, but the other three were strangers to them both, or at least she was sure they were; the boils were definitely strangers.

"U-uhm, yes? They are...um, Remi's a Kitsune and Raz is...I don't know what Raz is." A monster of some sort. She gave him a curious look, noticing how his voice seemed to drop. "Why?"

Aww, Roch was worried for their safety! The idea that he was actually more concerned with Xiu didn't cross her mind, she was just touched she was considered enough of a friend to be worried over. He did have a point though...they didn't really know their group members.

"...I suppose we should have been more careful..." Amrita submitted sheepishly, stopping her fidgeting with her clothing to instead fidget with her hair. Oh dear, did she upset him?! She didn't mean to! His muttering made her pout, feeling remarkably unhappy as he instead blow dried his hair.

Even her fascination over the alien tool didn't outweigh her guilt over having upset a friend. She shuffled closer to him until she was practically at his feet, still sitting on the floor, and resolved to just stare up at him until he was finished.

"I wasn't!" She tried to defend herself, though...okay. "...I was I'm sorry." She whimpered, bowing her head in shame. Baad Amrita! No lying! His stammered attempts at essentially telling her she wasn't capable were met with a blank stare. "We're - I'm - not what?" Clearly, she wasn't getting it.

Hello, case in point.

"Nuh huh!" She answered his rhetorical question, reaching up to pat his knee with the back of her hand, a gesture that was more comfortable than doing it with her palms. "It's okay! I understand, it's natural to worry about your friends but..." She puffed out her cheeks, raising her bare, patchworked arms to flex. It wasn't as impressive as it was in her head.

"I'm a year two now! I'll watch over them with all with my...my super awesome year 2 FEAR!" Amrita had her determined face on, but as it often went it probably wasn't very convincing.

"Um. O-okay...?" She uttered meekly, slowly lowering her flexing arms to fold them on her lap, hands crossed at the wrists so she could link her fingers. When it came to being stared at so intensely, Amrita became instantly nervous. She was doing her best to keep her gaze focused on his, but it was just too easy to look away shyly, staring at the pretty wall or the pretty fish tank or just...anything but him. But every time she looked away, her gaze did go right back up to meet his.

"O-of course, Roch!" The idea of abandoning her team mates was unsettling, even if she didn't know them...but he asked her to make him a promise, and so she was going to make it and abide by it. "I promise I'll try, and I'm not lying!" She had to stress that, promises were very important to her.

"I promise, Roch." Amrita repeated, offering a little smile. Aww, he was so worried! She wasn't sure how well she would do with that whole fiasco, since she had helped a couple of people on her boat that ended in harm to herself, but...she would at least try. It was the least she could do, since she already promised.

"...Hey, are you okay...?" He looked off to her, and she had this odd feeling that he was speaking from experience...maybe the two were related. The ghoul looked as concerned as she sounded.

"Oh." Did she see something there that wasn't? Hrm. It was likely. "Of course you can, it's just..." Just what, Amrita? She wasn't sure anymore. Instead she shook her head, and lifted her reversed hands in some weird form of the popular 'creep' dance that she had been taught at Prom, grinning.

"S-so! Hair?" He made a point of bringing it up, she was going to make a point of seeing it though!

Amrita took a look at the bed as Roch suggested it, but shook her head after. "No, it's okay, I like the floor." Her bed was hardly ever used, she slept on the cold hard ground and loved it! Once he was settled she moved onto her knees, shuffling closer. The ghoul looked almost comically focused on the task at hand, until her cold fingers slid along his scalp and into his hair.

"Oooh!" She keened out happily, wiggling in the spot. "It's still soft! Fluffyyyy~" The ghoul ran her fingers through his hair like a comb, thoroughly enjoying herself.

"Fang sounds...interesting." Curious! A werewolf that made his own pack with anyone. Hmm! "Stupid lies?" She parroted. "Like what?" Admittedly, she was curious, because she wasn't sure what made a lie stupid. "And...does it hurt? Dying your hair, or a piercing?" He did have a lot of them, now that she was looking at him up close and personal. His eyes were kind of like hers, too! Gray, with cloudy sclera...neat!

She had yet to stop playing with his hair, though. Which was odd; she usually wasn't this touchy-feely at all!
