Aila was far from skilled at reading others, but if it were obvious to Guy that her concern was a polite one, then it was obvious to her that his assurance was a false one. However, she didn't press the matter. She had told similar lies herself, and she was well aware of how uncomfortable it could be if one's company pressed the matter.

"It was a pleasure meeting you, Guy." A mild smile accented her words, and she lingered until he began to make his departure. It was interesting to have met yet another of her homeland. It had been strange enough when Asch had suddenly appeared, and apparently the heir of the fon Fabre house was in the region as well, in addition to the swordsman with whom she parted ways. She patted Charmant's flank in a gesture that relaxed the Arcanine. Maybe it was due time that she corresponded a bit with her brother.
