Opal nudged Illian from behind her. "Look! Isn't he just so cute?" She beamed at Ion. "He lost his family and he asked me to be his momma. So of course I said yes. I mean how could I tell such a cute little colt no? Any ways his name is Illian!" Illian made faces at Ion then stuck his tongue out.Opal turned and smiled at Illian, who had quickly stopped his face making at Ion and gave her a sweet innocent smile. "Isn't he just so adorable? Thali is just going to love him!"

"He is very adorable, how do we get so lucky with orphaned foals?" He ignored the faces because he was above that and figured that Illian was jealous because he wasn't Opal's center of attention. Ion knew how he felt, Opal was a special person to be around. He smiled at the colt. "An how are you today young sir? It is a pleasure to meet spirited and handsome young foals such as yourself."
Ion pushed the basket of seaweed toward his mate, "Order up, love."

Opal dove in eating the seaweed with zest. "Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. So good!"
Illian flicked his tail then ran straight for the creek. He did a flying leap making a large splash that soaked Ion. "Hi daddy! Do we get to play?"

Ion, not one to be outdone in the play department hopped into the water and splashed his son right back. "YES you're it!" He laughed and pawed the water, making sure the colt was well and truly wet.

Opal watched the two playing while munching away contently on the seaweed.
Illian laughed then tugged on Ion's tail. Before bolting off to hide behind a tree.

Ion shook his mane and dragged his wter soaked self out after the colt. He paused by the tree, 'Now where could my colt be hiding?" He sniffed the air, "Under this bush? Behind his mama? or Behind the tree? Hmmm" Ion snuck quietly around the tree behind the colt.

Opal giggled watching the two of them.
Illian squealed then ran over to Opal. "Momma! He's gonna get me!"

"Your right I'm gonna get you and tickle you without mercy, how else will you grow up to be big and strong, all colts need a good tickling!" Ion squeled and headed straight for Opal. He screeched to a halt in front of her. "Excuse me pretty miss have you seen a colt with brown fur and blue ribbons?"

Opal eyed him. "No sir I have not." She giggled the pointed a hoof away from her. "I might have saw something over there though."
Illian squealed happily then ran the opposite direct of what Opal had pointed.

Dutifully ion went over to investigate in the direction that Opal had pointed. He had definiately seen something foal like run the exact opposite way. Ion dragged himself back to Opal, "You must have been wrong there are not little brown foals over there."

Opal shrugs then shoves her nose back into the half eaten basket of seaweed. "Did you try over near the berries?" She said through a mouthful of seaweed.
Illian perked up. "Berries? I LOVE BERRIES!" Turns and runs straight at Ion. "Where berries? I want berries! Please please please?" The colt jumped up and down around Ion in his excitement.

Ion looks at Opal. "I found it. Berry bushes you say, well we will have to check that out. Where did you say they were again?" Ion watched Illian bounce around, amused.

Opal lifted her head leaving her seaweed. "Umm they are a little further in the canyon." She started to slowly make her way into the canyon. "I found them that morning after Ion. While you were still sleeping." She winked at him.
Illian bounced around happily. "Berries! Berries! I love berries! I can eat berries every day!" He sang out happily.

"Watch the prickles though, your tongue might not thank you then," Ion laughed and followed his mare into the canyon, he didnt mind the view either.

Gabrielle: Is at the berry patch laying down looking at the sky. She was lost and did not know where or what to do. On the bright side of things she at lest had found food. On the down side she lost her human guardian.
