Up, and up, and up--! Indigo was something of a natural when it came to climbing trees (or more correctly, she really loved it!), but this was the highest she'd gone in recent memory. She wrapped herself around a tree branch, clinging with all sixes, antennae straining toward the source of the smell--and there it was, hidden in a groove between two branches. Delighted, she reached for it with two hands, pulling it loose. "There you are!" she trilled, tucking it close to her body.
Then she twisted around, looking for a suitable gap between the branches below her... And let go.
The funnest part of climbing a tree when you have no bones is getting back DOWN. "WHEEEEE~EE!" She landed among the leaves at the base of the tree with a thump and a rustle. After a moment, she clambered back to her feet, pattering out from between the trees with the ball held proudly in both right hands.
"Mr. Orpheus!" Hopefully no one else would remark on the fact she was wandering around without her clothes on. "I found a ball, Mr. Orpheus! It smells like flowers!"

The scorpion lad opened a claw slowly, peering down at a slightly dented up ping pong ball- oops, perhaps he'd grabbed onto it just a little too hard... "Y-you're not a sh-shiny..." He informed the ball, examining its sparkley red outer coating for a few moments before it clicked- this was what he'd been looking for! He hadn't expected to find it whilst hunting for shinies, but hey! Excitement stole the little guy and he grinned cheerily, calling out without second thought, "I-I G-GOT ONE!"
And then he was on his feet, leaves and twigs sticking in his hair as he stood. He tromped out from the foliage, racing back to where Mr. Orpheus had been standing earlier, "I g-got one!" He repeated, all four eyes alight with satisfaction. He'd actually found one! He never thought that he actually would! He stopped at his teacher's feet, panting happily, tail swaying about behind him.
After only a mere second he grew shy, smiling sheepishly before presenting the ping pong ball, extending a claw up to the older male. "S-see?" He finally said quietly, "I-I found o-one."

After nearly looking over every inch of the floor, Sahra finally caught a quick glimpse of something that looked, how would you say it...strangely out of place? It was grey, and blended in with the rocks rather well colour wise, but it was perfectly round! And not rugged or deformed looking like a rock would be. Well, it had a slight dent in it, but that didn't count, since it was probably just from her stepping on it. "Haha!" She chirped aloud, feeling accomplished; she speed forward.
But the rock pile came too soon! She had thought it was further away than that, but it wasn't. And boy was she bad at stopping, and she made that rather apparent, since she ran right into a bush about two yards from the rocks. "Ow..." She twitched, quickly shoving her way out, she crawled over to where she had thought that she saw the abnormality amongst the stones. And there is was, right in front of her.
She quickly scooped it up into her hands, ignoring the fact that she was nearly covered in dirt and dust. "I found one, too!" She screeched out, slowling her stride as she neared the teacher. "Mr. Orpheus, I found one, too..."

He sat just outside the bush int he light, shoving at the purple hued pentils, digging in the mess of flowers until he found the orange one. And it was simple that, an orange flower. Oh bother... "Hmm... Where could mister ball be..?" He mumbled, flicking the orange flower away. His hand smelled like that same pollen, and he quickly began to brush away the rest of the flowers not wanting anything more to do with the stink. Too frilly for him. He paused as his hand rolled over something with more substance than a simple paperthin petal. Shoving away more of the petals carefully, he uncovered the hard, round surface of the ball, orange color catching the light with a slight shine. He blinked a bit at it before plucking it up out of the mess, and turning his hand upside to to wave off anything else. He had to wonder why he hadn't done that in the first palce, it worked better.
Pushing himself up from the ground, he grinned, until he noticed the state of his shirt. He hadn't been paying much attention until now, simple for the fact nothing was bothering him much. But somewhere along the line he'd managed to create some nice tears in the thing. Raja would not be pleased with that bit. Frowning, he brushed at the surface, knocking away a few thorns that had managed to catch in the clothe, but not get to him, he started walking back toward the front. Or what he thought was it. He hadn't paid too much attention to where he was going. The boy had a bit of a one track mind, either he was hunting for treasure, or training for his future fights with the great evils. Or that's how he saw it. Running was practicing endurance, sleeping was only for recooperation his energy. Thing like that, which drove his family insane. Still, he hadn't been hurt, so it as alright. Perhaps there was something to having a nice coat, and not just licky clack shell hands.
He turned a bush, and spotted the red haired fellow. As well as the others. Apparently he hadn't been the fastest. Still he had it. The lady monster had apparently taken off her clothes at one point, which prompted him to glance at his own ripped attire. Perhaps that would have been a good idea... Still, heros had things ripped from time to time, and Raja couldn't complain at him too much, he didn't get any stratches. So it was all good, he'd even found a ball. Picking up his pace he darted to join the others, holding up his own ball. "I found one too, it was in the bushes with a bunch of flowers that smelled bad." He called happily. Even if he wasn't the first one done, at least he had still found one, that was far better than failing completely. He'd certainly make a good hero, even if he wasn't the quickest.

Ligeia hurried along down the path, back towards where his teacher was waiting and where the rest of the class was handing in or had already handed in their ping pong balls. Ahh well, better late then never he supposed. He held the blue ball out to his father, wings flapping in an excited sort of manner.
He'd passed the class and that was all that he was worried about, he had been so scared that he would be the only one not to find one in which case he would have hidden in the classroom until the class was over and everyone was gone.
Luckily that hadn't come to pass!

Orpheus looked over as his students started to arrive, first was Indigo, who he took the ball from and then handed clothing back too, "There you go, and good job on being the first one back." He praised her, then turned to see who was next to come over.
"Nero, excellent." He said taking the ball that was presented to him, "Good job on finding this one. I made it quite tricky." Hiding something that would sparkle in the shadows so the only way it would glitter is if someone moved the bushes it was hiding under.
Orpheus tilted his head as Sahra arrived, taking one step back to make sure she had enough room to slow down and not bump into him, "Looks like you had quite the adventure while searching for your ball." He said taking the grey one from her, "Ahh. The one hidden in the rocks, good job Sahra."
"Keanu, great job. Looks like you got in a fight with a something to make sure to get this ball as you own." He said jokingly taking in the tears in the child's clothing. If Keanu's parent mentioned it would replaced the clothing since it was ruined in his classroom. Not information he would vollenteer out loud though.
He took the ball from him as well and looked them over, then passed them to where his son was standing, holding out a ball to him. Orpheus gave a bit of a smile and took the ball from him, "Impressive." He said then nodded his head, "Alright. Give me a moment and I will have the results posted for you guys." He said then tucked the ping pong balls into his pocket and got out his notepad and started to write things down on it.

The fully written out results of the classroom was posted on the door to the class for the students and parents that came by to see, more importantly for those in charge and keep track. There were envelopes with each of the children's names on them that had gems in them, something for the kids to hold on to, take care of, and give to their draclings when they hatched. "Alright guys. All done." He called.
