Tossing the post into the pile Christof seemed to be favoring, Jericho began to rummage around some more. When the igor was tugging at something, he looked up to see what it was he grabbed. In the meantime, he found what appeared to be a part of an old crane. This could be useful. Yes. The dragon went ahead and tossed it into the pile too.

The hunchback huffed, snorting out his nose as he positioned his feet to give it one more haul before tumbling backward down the heap to the Dragon's feet, the rather large, definitely sharp and metal propeller spinning after him to very neatly land where his neck was. The hunchback could only give an annoyed huff as his head went rolling. He had, at least, found a rather effective bladed thing.

As Christof came tumbling down, Jericho jumped back to avoid getting knocked over. Though, he soon noticed that the Igor's head was now separate from the rest of his body.
"Well... that should do pretty nicely," he blinked before moving to go fetch where he head had rolled off to so he could get it back to the rest of the body.

The hunchback gave a snort, hefting the head thankfully. At least with his grown fear, keeping it attached while they continued was as easy as a quick safety pin to the neck, and Fear magnetically did the rest. So long as he was good to it. Bother. Well they were doing well, it would seem, as he gazed proudly at their growing pile. Still a few things missing, though. Eyes narrowing, he did a quick scan...
The dogs rushed past a few rows of junk over, noses to the ground... thankfully they had not been spotted just yet, and he relaxed ever so slightly.

Nodding, Jericho went ahead and continued to rummage around now that Christof had his head back. Hearing the dogs nearby, the dragon paused for the moment. However, it seemed that the hounds were still searching. With them still out of the way for now, he went on, grabbing a few other things that seemed to be of use.
"Think we got enough stuff yet?" Jericho uttered as quietly as he could. He was wondering if it would be alright if he could remove his pin yet.

Christof considered their heap, rubbing the back of his head (gingerly) as he went down a mental check list... finally, he pulled the blanket from his pack, tossing it out for them to start loading it up as a make-shift dragons ack. What wouldn't fit, he could carry in the wheelbarrow, he supposed... which... unfortunately, was on the other side of the yard.
Damn dragon. Damn dogs.
Well, they'd work it out somehow. Still a few things, though... he began to scale the pile again, eyes scanning for anything that might prove useful.

It seemed that it wasn't quite time yet, seeing how Christof just went straight back to digging around. Shrugging, the dragon continued to sift through the junk as well. Oh hey. A shiny! Picking up a small, shimmering object, Jericho was temporarily distracted from the task as he went on to appraise the thing. Not bad at all.
Well. One man's junk was another dragon's treasure. He pocketed this, then continued searching for materials.

Christof grunted as he hauled another heavy thing down to the blanket. It might have been a load for him, but to the dragon it would be nothing, right?
Hopefully that would do it. But his wheelbarrow was still far off... drat. Well, he knew his way around here well enough, he could run and get it and be right back. Turning from the distracted dragon, he ventured forth through the junk mounds, only to come face to face with a startled, snarling dog.
He froze. Stalemate.

Finding another interesting thing that could prove useful, Jericho went ahead and tossed into the pile before looking over in the distance to see where Christof had ventured off to. It was a little hard to see in the darkness, but he could swear that there was a dog right there.
"Tiamat's s**t."
Frowning, he went ahead and took off his pin. Before too long, he stood in full dragon form and started to charge towards where the dog was.

Christof could feel the ground trembling under him before he even noticed the dog's glowing, wild eyes suddenly widening in terror with an audible, almost comical whine, turning over his shoulder to see the Dragon suddenly barreling towards them. He ducked just in time for the great beast to leap over him, after the beast and once he was convinced he hadn't been trampled the hunchback had a moment to reflect...
... it really was useful having a dragon handy.
He wasn't sure why he was worried about the dogs at all, in retrospect. Jericho could eat them in two bites.
Wobbling a bit, he backed away back towards their pile while he waited for the dragon to return.

With a roar, Jericho continued to tail after the dog, snapping at its heel as it fled. Once a fair distance was covered, he stopped his chase and trotted back on over towards back to where he left Christof. He didn't bother putting his pin back on yet, seeing how the dogs could return at any moment. That, and they would probably go back soon.
Oh. Speaking of that. The dragon took flight to go seek out where the Igor left that wheelbarrow... if he couldn't find that one, it shouldn't be hard to find another, right?

The hunchback had just been ready to thank the dragon, to look at their relationship in a new light when suddenly the massive creature lifted off to... fly away.
His hands dropped the device he had been stuffing onto their blanket with a scowl. He... he wasn't LEAVING him here, was he?? There was no way he could drag all of this back himself! Hell's Bells...

Looking around towards the ground, Jericho tried to find any wheelbarrow that happened to be lying around. It probably didn't matter if it wasn't the same one as the one Christof brought, just as long as it had a good wheel and handles. Ah! There was one down there.
The dragon flew down to pluck it off the ground to start carrying back to where he left the Igor. Before too long, he was back, where he placed the wheelbarrow down. Either it was the same one, or it might have been one that was slightly bigger. He didn't know.

Christof jumped, relief suddenly replacing the outrage on his face as the dragon thankfully returned. And... with... a wheelbarrow. Well, it wasn't... HIS wheelbarrow, but... it was a good sight bigger.... his shovel was thankfully strapped to his back and not left behind despite the fact his narrator completely forgot to mention something like that and is too tired to go back and edit, but when it all boiled down... his old barrow he had swiped from Breck's shed had been seeing it's share of wear and tear. Even from a junkyard, this one was nicer... albeit with a broken handle. But that was quickly fixed with a bit of pipe and some wire. He gave the Dragon a thankful bow, his face flushing a moment before stiffly turning to find something to mend it with, motioning for Jericho to begin to gather up his load.
Whatever he couldn't carry, he supposed he'd put in the wheelbarrow, and meet him back on campus whenever he managed to get there.

Not really knowing that he had grabbed a different one, Jericho just nodded to Christof in return before looking over at the big makeshift sack that had been prepared. Making his way over, he grabbed onto the blanket to give it a test, getting up onto his hind legs briefly as he lifted it up. Good, it didn't seem like it was going to break. Even so, he figured he'd have to hold onto it carefully to make sure stuff didn't spill while he was flying.
Setting it back down and returning to all fours, he looked over at Christof to see how he was doing with his own load.
