A smile was given to Guy as he offered to get him a drink. "A root beer would be great, thank you." They might be here for a bit, so they might as well make themselves comfortable. Steven then looked back to Dith as both Rosie and the man himself introduced him. "I see, its a pleasure, sir." However, things were abruptly interrupted as another girl came running in and clung to Rosie, rambling words that were barely distinguishable.

The Hoenn champion blinked in surprise, but then chuckled lightly. He didn't know this girl either, but he certainly wouldn't push her away. "Here is just fine. Please have a seat, we have a lot to discuss. Is this everyone?" He certainly didn't want to leave anyone out if at all possible, and besides, the more help the better.

Rosie was about to turn and go with Guy to help get drinks for everyone while they got settled around their table,
A Heavy little sigh breathed silently through her nose, trying to lift her heart up.
This was a good thing... Steven was here, they would discuss their options now, and do their part to help out.

Still, she couldn't help but feel sad, looking around at each of her friends. Poor Izumi lost her pokemon to, Sera didn't understand, and that was Dangerous. Dith, while he hid it well, still had a nasty wound he was recovering from... and Guy had faced someone who seemed to spark confusion in the man... She could tell he thought about it a lot, with that quiet, but puzzled expression.
Luke hadn't been able to make it, but she knew he was bothered by all of this as well.
She wanted to best for everyone, She didn't want them in danger, but at the same time, these were the most amazing people she knew, all stepping forward and wanting to help put a stop to other people getting hurt.

As she turned, her vision was suddenly blocked, unexpectedly, and a familiar pokemon voice followed.
Startled by this at first, she didn't have to much time to react before she heard her name being called and someone running over to hug her.

Rosie recognized that green hair and tan skin anywhere
"C- Citrine!"
Her arms institutionally wrapped around the young girl. large blue eyes blinking down at her, clearly surprised to see the green haired trainer.
"I thought you were training in the League!"

Had Citrine really come all this way back to Kodo when Rosie told her what happened?
Rosie had been keeping the girl updated on what was going on. including what happened at the contest and about talking to Steven today.Rosie didn't actually expect Citrine to drop everything and come rushing back.
Though, seeing the girl again made Rosie very happy. Happy to see she was okay.
Rosie kept her arms around her, holding her tightly back, before placing a hand up onto her shoulder.
"Guy and I are getting everyone drinks, go ahead and tell me what you want, and just have a seat."
She looked over at the group.
"Everyone, this is my friend Citrine, She's a trainer to~"
the blond trainer smiled over at Dith as he started to introduce her to everyone, letting Citrine find her seat, so they could get started once Rosie and Guy got the drinks.

Guy gave the former Champion a small smile at his request. "All right, then, a root beer." The swordsman walked over to the ordering counter, asked for the drink, and once receiving it, went back to join the still growing group. Even now, a very young girl had accompanied them, as she seemed to be acquainted with Miss Rosie. "Hello, miss." Guy smiled politely at the newcomer, but he kept his distance. He silently hoped that this new girl would not be too friendly.

Instead of returning to his previous seat by Dith, Guy went to Steven's side and handed him his drink. He hoped that they would get down to business soon. He was getting a little restless from the weight that seemed to hang over them all. It was stifling, to say the very least.

Anonymes, unlike his master, was in fact very comfortable around women, and so when the new younger female joined their party, he hovered over to her happily, giving her a small, polite bow before waving cheerfully. This new one... Was she a friend of Miss Rosie? She seemed very nice and sweet! After all, any friend of Miss Rosie's was a friend of Anon's. She was very young, though, Anon noticed. Would she be helping them fight? Or was she too young? ...Well, Anon mused, even if Master would fight, which he undoubtedly would, they would need all the help that they could get.

Everyone had the drinks of their choice, and were sitting, Rosie herself had a mug of tea sitting in front of her, hands wrapped around the white cup to help warm them up as she got settled in her own seat.

There was a moment of silence for her, as if getting ready for this.. whatever was to come next.
Blue eyes lifted from the table, looking around before she looked over to Steven.
"This is everyone who could make it today." She confirmed.
"Even the ones that are not here, we're ready to do what we can."

Sitting himself down the with others, Steven thanked Guy graciously as he brought him his beverage. The silver haired man nodded quietly as Rosie confirmed that everyone, who could make it, was present.

"I'll get to the point then. We're all here to do something about Team Rocket, and trust me when I tell you that the Pokemon League isn't ignoring this problem. Lance, the champion of the Indigo League, was the "first responder" if you will. He is the best Team Rocket expert we have. Since Kodo has no present league, the government requested his aid. However, he was captured, and since he's been missing, the league is stepping up action. That's why I'm here, and I've enlisted the help of some of my colleagues as well."

Steven paused a moment to sip at his root beer, then glanced between each of the trainers present.

"A petition has also been put in for Kodo's own league. But until that happens, only outside members like myself and people like you, will have to do. The police have had limited success, as you know. Team Rocket before has been defeated, twice, by a single trainer in partnership with Lance. However, the organization is now under new leadership and is stronger and smarter. The methods to bring them down before will not work. I have a plan, but in order to carry it out... I need each of you to help, and to be at your best. My suggestion is, if you accept, to travel with me to my home region of Hoenn and undergo training. I will pay for your traveling expenses. Anyone who wishes to come will get the opportunity to go through the league challenge and strengthen both yourselves and your Pokemon."

Again Steven paused and passed his gaze around the group, waiting for reactions and comments.

While she, along with a couple others at this table did the best they could to keep up with what was going on with Team Rocket in recent events, there were a lot of things that Steven was telling them that Rosie knew she wasn't aware of. Mostly to do with the League's involvement.
It had felt like, for so long, that they were in this alone. She couldn't express the feeling of relief she got when Steven explained otherwise.

At the mention that there was movement in a League being set up in Kodo, Rosie's eyes grew wide, her mouth falling open a little as if to comment, but no sound came out.
A League, in Kodo? That... That would be wonderful! Its somethings she's always hoped for for their little island home.

It didn't stop there though, as Steven continued by saying he wanted to bring them all back to Hoenn.
This left her speechless for some time after the offer, and as the silence carried on.
Her cheeks pinked under the curled strands of blond hair against her skin.
"That... that is a generous offer!" She managed to say.

It was something she considered before, going to train in a place that would really give them an idea of how to properly work with pokemon.
"Y You would do that?"

This of coarse brought up a concern that pricked at Rosie's heart... one she could not ignore, but had no idea how to approach.

That was indeed a generous offer, traveling around wasn't cheap even if you walked or biked everywhere. Even the price of hostels added up eventually and for so many people.... Still, Stone must be happy to do it or he wouldn't have volunteered. Being a league champion was lucrative perhaps, but even if he had money to burn it was generous. "You are very kind Steven," Dith said softly, "I would be glad to take up your offer. Things must be done, as you say, and I certainly intend to do them." He'd trained Viktor a fair bit when they'd been younger, yes, but never in an area with a League. Besides, before long he intended to have more pokemon and he'd have to start from scratch with them.

What exactly was it that Steven wanted them to do though, once they had been to Hoenn and trained? What could they do that the many powerful trainers Steven no doubt knew could not? Was it local knowledge? Well if so he was of no use there, and Guy wouldn't be either. What was Stone planning? He understood initial vagueness, both for the sake of quickly communicating the gist of things and the fact that they were somewhere very public. That didn't change the fact that a small part of him wanted to growl protectively and demand just exactly what Stone intended to have these children do. It was silly and over protective, and he was old and wise enough not to let it affect how he acted but that wariness was there for now. He'd be a lot happier when he had more details.

"The details.... You will perhaps tell us somewhere more private?" Dith added after only a momentary pause. It was sensible of Steven not to talk too much here, where anyone sipping a drink could be a Rocket spy. It was silly of him to be suspicious.

Guy listened quietly as Steven reiterated their objective. He remained stoic as the former Champion spoke, but the mention of a League in Kodo drew his attention. His eyes widened slightly and his eyebrows rose in surprise. "A League? Here?" To be completely honest, Guy knew little about the League save for what he had researched back in the Duke's manor, and that was merely recreational. All he knew was that an induction of an official League in Kodo would mean more powerful leaders, and in turn, more powerful trainers. It had the potential to be an invaluable asset to their cause!

Steven's next offer caught Guy completely off-guard, and for a brief moment, his jaw dropped. Was Steven truly asking them to go to his home region and train with his there? Honestly? ...How exciting! Guy turned the thought over and over in his mind. Going to a brand new region... He knew all about that. It had hardly been long ago when he first stepped foot on Kodo's shores, and this place was still foreign to him. Imagine training in a League region! He and Anonymes both could get so much stronger!

And yet, a more hesitant thought came to Guy. What about Luke? Would he be included in this excursion, or would he be left behind? And if it was the case that Guy accompanied the other trainers and left Luke, what would happen to him? Luke, for how skilled he was, was like a lost little puppy, Guy mused. He was bound to get into some type of trouble without supervision. Besides, what would the Duke say if he knew that Guy had left his only son alone in a foreign region? Or, even worse, what would Natalia say? Guy shuddered to think what she might do to him.

"I would love to go with you to train in your home region, Steven. It's very generous of you to offer to do so. But... Exactly how many people will you plan to take with you? Say if..." Guy paused, pondering how he should word his next statement. "...Say there was a trainer that was not here at this meeting. A trainer who was very determined, almost blindly so, to put a stop to Team Rocket's actions. Would you let him go with us as well...?" Guy honestly doubted that Steven would know who he was referring to, even with all of the not-so-subtle hints. Did Steven even know that Luke was Guy's master? Guy had no clue. He just hoped that the former Champion would say yes. Guy wasn't sure what he would do otherwise.

Steven could see the concern in Rosie's eyes, and hear the doubts in Dith's voice. This was not surprising to him. Such a thing would be a big commitment and had its own risks.

The large man's question drew a nod. "Once we're safely in Hoenn, I'll be more than happy to share all the details with everyone. Of course this isn't to say there will not be some risk involved. However, I have no intent to see anyone get hurt. Lance and I have some very powerful friends and we will do everything we can to make sure everyone stays safe. I will not force anyone to participate and you can back out at any time."

Guy's question then drew Steven's attention and he took another sip of his root beer. "Of course. Your friend is more than welcome to join us. And anyone else that isn't here, who would be interested. I just need to know exactly how many people will be coming, and soon, so I can purchase the tickets."

Seeing as how she hadn't made that big of a fool of herself, Citrine relaxed some, and even smiled to Dith as he greeted her. She didn't know any of the others who were here, only Rosie, and listened intently as the man introduced the others. She did her best to compose herself, and when drinks were offered, nodded. Nornsteen carried her drink for her as she joined the others at the table. She may not have known anyone, but that wasn't the point. Everyone here was here for Rosie, right? So in a way, she knew everyone!

"It's a pleasure to meet you all, even if it's for not so great a reason." She looked at Rosie and shook her head. "No. I mean, I was going to, but I didn't." She hadn't made it to fight a single gym leader yet. But her reasons were her own for now. Citrine eyed the Lampert as it seemed to come and greet her. She didn't care much for ghosts. Not at all, even though the white haunter, Nornsteen was her best poke-friend, and Marion was... a handful, but not unpleasant. She smiled at Anonymes until Steven spoke of a league for Kodo. Her eyes brightened.

"I'll go with you." She said firmly, not even needing to think twice. "I want to train, and I want to help." She had been to Hoenn, once, when she was much younger. But a vacation was nothing like training, and she was eager. Rosie was her best friend, even though she was a fair bit older than Citrine, and it was only chance when they could meet up it seemed. But she had to do something!

She wasn't completely sure what she was getting into though. But... wasn't that part of the journey? At least Steven was saying he would give them more details. And if she, or anyone decided they couldn't do this, no one would blame them for backing down. Not that she intended to. Not a chance!

There was a lot to be concerned about, especially considering the fact that this wasn't just something that they were doing for fun, this was going to be for something very serious, and something Rosie knew was very frightening.
Even so, a part of Rosie knew that she probably didn't even fully understand what she was going to be getting herself into, she knew it was going to be dangerous, but it was a perspective that she had only just barely gotten a glimpse of till this point, and was still vaguely aware of.
What was in store for them if they went along with this...

The real question to her though.. was what would be in store for them if they didn't go, and take up Steven's offer.

Rosie snapped back into reality, lifting her gaze from the table as her friends began to speak, voicing concerns of their own, Guy wanting to know if Luke could go, Rosie wasn't surprised that Steven was willing to let him come as well, Dith wanted to know details... this made Rosie curious, wondering what more there could be.
and the youngest at the table, without a second thought, announcing that she was in.

Blue eyes turned on the bright young trainer, and a soft, smile formed over her lips.

"Me to." Rosie said, meeting Citrine's eyes as she said this, turning to Steven as she continued "There is no way I can back down at this point, and I want to do everything in my power to help the League,"
She voiced, following Citrine's example.

She knew that this was something that was going to have to be discussed with everyone, and to give Steven a final number.
Rosie was also worried for Citrine, not that training wasn't a good idea for her, she should be strong... but Citrine needed to understand just what they were doing, and she had to made her decision based on all of the facts.
Rosie would not tell Citrine no though.

The blond girl let her gaze look around at her other friends. She hoped they all considered this, she knew together they could be stronger then ever... but would they have doubts?
PostPosted: Tue Oct 11, 2011 7:37 pm

Mordecai looked like he could've fainted from sheer bliss when Izumi hugged him, but didn't. The only thing that stopped him was the knowledge that if he did, the poor girl would suddenly have an incredibly heavy, fancy doorstop dropped into her lap.

Seraphine watched the group a bit sullenly - no one ever claimed her to be the queen of subtlety, after all - with the occasional muffled click of metal emanating from her every so often. It wasn't her fault those.. those whoever they were - Rockets? Something like that, it sounded right - so why did she feel bad? The awkward, uncomfortable feeling kept twisting around her stomach, so when drinks were offered she (im)politely refused.

When Steven offered for them to travel to Hoenn, the spoiled girl immediately thought of the vacations and trips she'd taken there. "I'll go," she said, perking up. Family vacations were fun, but going with Rosie would be even better!

Eventually she'd realize what this trip would entail.

Steven glanced around at all the voices who said that they were willing to go. The man smiled appreciatively at this. It was great to see people coming together like this for a cause. However, he knew the risks that it posed to these well meaning trainers. He would have to work extra hard to make sure that they were prepared and wouldn't get hurt.

"All right then. I'll start looking into booking tickets for a ship to take us to Hoenn."

He then glanced at Guy. "Just let me know by tomorrow if your friend is going to come. And the same goes for anyone else. Make sure you all pack everything you need. We'll be leaving a week from now if that's all right with everyone."
PostPosted: Sat Oct 15, 2011 5:36 am

A week. That wasn't a lot of time at all. Enough time to finish sorting out his apartment though, and to rest and recover at least a little. There would be time on the boat as well, provided the weather wasn't bad enough to make the trip uncomfortable. A week. Enough time to get hold of a couple more pokemon? Probably, if he was lucky. Well he would just have to see what he could do.

"I can have everything I need sorted in a week," Dith affirmed with a nod, "I suppose the sooner we leave the better really." The sooner they left the sooner he could find out what Stone had planned for them. At least he wasn't trying to pretend it was going to be free from risk... what did he want? The same question just kept running circles in his head, too important to put aside but unanswerable. Something they could do that all Stone's powerful friends could not? Infiltration? No, Team Rocket knew what they looked like, most of them anyway. Bait? Decoys? Pawns? He didn't fancy being an expendable red-shirt in the least, nor would he allow the determined young people around him to be used like that. He probably worried too much, but he couldn't help worrying with so little to go on.

Though inaudible, a great sigh of relief came from Guy as Steven accepted his offer. It was unlikely thta he would have refused, true, but it was always of importance to make absolutely sure. Now, the next step for him would be to actually know where Luke was. That might prove to be difficult. "Excellent. Thank you for understanding, Steven. I'll be sure to let you know very soon.

And I'll go too, of course,"
he added as the chorus of eager voices announced their interest in training with the former Champion. Yes, there would be risks, but what was the point of adventure without risks? He knew that they would get stronger somehow, and they would find a way to take Team Rocket down. It was a daunting task, but surely they could figure out something to do. According to Steven, Team Rocket had been taken down twice before. It could be done again.

But one week... One week. It was an uncomfortably short amount of time, but they had no choice. Guy would make sure that Luke knew about it, and he would be ready for it. "A week might be tough, but I can get it done. I'll have everything I need."
