"I think you're just making it maad." Corvus said in a little sing-song voice that was likely to be just as infuriating as the bucking youma, all things considered. She was amused... Or at least enjoying herself more than she should have been. There was light dancing in her eyes as she moved, something in her simply singing at the promise of a good battle.
That light faded ever so slightly as a hard, heavy swing of the youma's tail caught her off guard. She dodged it at the last second but didn't have enough time to dodge the empty, wooden crate that had flung up along with the momentum. It hit her even as she brought her arms up to shield her head and face, splintering into at least a dozen pieces as both she and the crate hit the wall with a clatter.

He managed to just keep his footing while the youma thrashed around and rolled his eyes at Corvus' singing. She could at least take things a bit seriously if she wanted him to teach her how to do this. So far her bitchiness and now this wasn't helping.
When the youma's thrashing knocked a stack of crates on her he was, horrible of him, pleased. That's what she got for trying to poke fun at him.
"Making them mad makes them stupid." He cracked a heel down against the yoma's head as he vaulted himself off and over to the wall where Corvus had hit, hoping to help her out of the wreckage. "Mad and almost dead."

A groan came from beneath the slips of wood and the pile atop the senshi shifted; not enough to take Arachne's hand, though. Corvus shifted just enough to bring her own hands together, letting all of her pain and irritation come together into an angry sphere of negative energy.
"Violent Revenge!" She nearly growled as she released the sphere in the direction of the youma, cracking it just beneath its chin as it tried to turn around to charge them again.

He dodged the attack which had come within inches of smacking him in the nose and raised a brow. The youma took the full force and howled before exploding in a cloud of dust.
".... that would be a lot more impressive if you didn't have to get hurt first. Sucky power."
He so didn't get what the reasoning behind that was. Even more so when you gave it to a pissed off woman. Seemed like a disaster waiting to happen given the right time of the month.

"It's taught me a lot." Her nose wrinkled slightly to give the impression of some sort of sarcasm as she stretched back out on the ground again, waiting that extra moment for her head to stop pounding before holding a gloved hand up to the Senshi of Spiders.
"I'm sure there's a reason for it; some nonsense about invoking Vengeance... My c-- Another senshi has pointed out to me several times just how useless it is for someone who's meant to be a warrior." She was inclined to agree sometimes, but it made the payback all that much more of a b***h for those she fought against.

He helped pull her up out of the wreckage of the crates and brushed some wood chips off her shoulders. "Some sort of lesson that Vengeance shouldn't be evoked because it hurts you as much as someone else?" He grinned.
"Youma's dusted at least. Even if it could have gone better." Thisbe worked better with him. At least she -tried- to actualy work with him instead of trying to work in the same vicinity. Corvus could learn though, hopefully, she was a good ally to have.

"I held on to a vague hope that at Super I would just be able to kick some a**. No dice." She shook her head slightly as she released his hand so that she could dust herself off the rest of the way along with brushing his fingers away from her. Corvus still wasn't entirely sure she liked the way he looked at her... Slime ball.
"Practice makes perfect, right?" Her brow lofted as she looked up to him. "You can pick the next one."

"Outside next time so we have more room." He laughed. "And maybe by then you'll decide to actually let me help you, and you help me, rather than just working in the same space."
It would work easier if they trusted each other. "Can't really help if you wont even let me help you get cleaned up. I can keep my hands to myself." He grinned before jumping back up toward the upper walkwalk and the open window. "Until next time Corvus."

"It takes time to build trust, Sailor Arachne. We'll work on it." She nodded slowly, eyes lingering for one more moment on the spot where the youma had been only moments ago. It had taken time before to build up that sort of trust between she and the other senshi that she had called her team mates... And it would take time again. He was going to have to prove himself to her every bit as much as she was going to have to prove that she was capable of working alongside him.
"Until next time." She murmured absently, not realizing that he had already left until after the words had left her lips. Corvus blinked absently, shaking her head once before slipping off in the opposite direction.
