XXX XXXXXXX—¤÷(`Luke & Zorora ´)÷¤—"Oh, somebody called Meda? OKAY, let's go!" The Eevee exclaimed as they listened to the Swellow that was taking to the Espeon in the middle of the crowd. She flicked her tail around, the light emitted from her tail shined brightly near the many strangers that circled them to gather. There's awfully a lot more Pokemon out than usual when the alarm rings. Its probably because THERE IS NO POWER. And for some odd reason, the light from Zorora's tail haven't annoyed anybody yet from being so bright. Maybe since they're stuck in the middle of darkness, they encourage the light from it along with a few other Pokemon who made their own light. As she started to charge forward a large force pulled her back. She forced forward but failed at that attempt. She then finally looked back to see who was holding her back.
Luke held his grip on her tail that was shining brightly. The light might blind him but he shrugged that off. If that were to happen it won't do anything anyways, he's already partly blind. To be exact he can't see two inches in front of him but that could be called half-blind too. "Not so fast; we cannot just rush like that. If we do, we will get lost. We need to stay with the guilds." He said calmly.
She pouted at him. "Awwww. But they're all soooo sloooooowww.." She started flailing away from his grip but he was a lot stronger than she is. She turned her head again and met a stern gaze that silenced her and give a brisk nod. "Fine.." She whimpered. The gaze was swipe away with an expression filled with approval as he released her tail. She curled her tail around her paws and waited impatiently. She grumbled something under her breath with her pout still sticking to her face. But then she spotted a scared looking Misdreavus with an ugly looking Smoochum. She trotted over with a cheerful face. "Oh hey! You! Yes you!" She greeted them in the darkness with only her light that was the nearest light source illuminating their shadows. "Do you want to come with us?"

Ver -- AliceThe duo listened in silence, both of them with rather puzzled expressions. Grandmother, did he say? Alice's head tilted slightly as she watched the Swellow take off. She remained idle that way for quite a while, clearly in thought until Ver gave her a light shove and the small psychic snapped back to reality; her attention reeling to the Flareon beside her. He gestured toward Ethfael, having already posed the invitation. "S-Sorry. Yeah, sure that sounds fun. We'll tag along with you then." Alice smiled, turning back to Ver for a moment before looking at Ethfael again. "Right, that's Ver. He's my team leader since--- ..." The Kirlia's expression downed drastically. Sai wasn't been passed on for long and speaking of the Glaceon came naturally, only to catch onto it into the mention of. Alice stood there frowning in silence, not continuing her introduction. Ver responded to the Kirlia's silence instead, taking a moment to step forward to get a better view of the Dragonair from Alice's opposite side. "It's fine, we'll tag along. Light sources shouldn't be an issue." Being a fire type and what not. Alice blinked back into reality and her expression grew rather neutral before promptly smiling with a sharp inhale and turning toward the exit, heading on her way. "Well~ Let's go then! I'm sure it'll be fine."

    Solaris---Fiorin-----Cheshire-----Chase
It was pleasant, seeing the guild members start to group up as they began their trek out the guild. They'd be safer in groups, they understood that. Perhaps Aunt Minerva's mini-tournament had been a good idea after all, despite how boring it had been to him. Solaris turned sharply as an oddly-colored Jolteon took place at his side. He eyed her curiously at the obvious tribal patterns across her body before returning his attention to the questing. "...I...Andromeda Eclipse. She's my Grandmother, they told me she was ill for a long time and in quarantine but..." He glanced down at his paws as the carried him across the dirt path to the forest ahead. "There is something else wrong here. I'm not sure what, but it's safe to assume it's dangerous." Better safe than sorry anyways. Assume the threat that didn't exist rather than ignore the one that did. He lifted his head and offered the electric type a smile, she was welcome to tag along with him since everyone else seemed to be pairing up. Some by force...
Fiorin chuckled a bit as he noticed his young charge a good distance away and currently latched onto another Zorua with similar coloring. Well, so long as she stayed with someone in the guild, he supposed it didn't matter who she went with. He trotted ahead on his own, pausing as he noticed a lone Wartortle making quick pace after everyone else. The Pikachu dropped to all fours and bounded ahead to catch up with the water type. " 'llo there, friend." He greeted, voice pleasant but not forceful. He'd leave if it became clear his presence wasn't required. "Nice night for a walk to certain doom, isn't it?" The joke was maybe a bit much considering how tense some of the Pokemon around here were as of late, but Fiorin felt that the Wartortle wouldn't care one way or another.
So-so, the fluffy yellow one didn't care that she'd left. That was grand! Cheshire smiled around the large fluffy tail in her mouth, her teeth jagged and pointed down into almost perfect triangles. As Jay moved forward she was dragged slightly, though most of her body lay across the end of his tail, while her teeth secured around the top part. It became a very comfortable 'wagon-ride' of sorts. It also beat walking! She mewled happily as the words ;cute' and 'keep her' rang out. She'd heard those when she had hatched! It was good things, they liked her! o w o } <3 She was going to stay with her new friends! She liked them better than Fiorin who made her do stuff like not bite and walk on her own. She looked up in alarm when the guild suddenly stopped walking. They'd reached the forest it seemed, but from the back of the group she coudn't see. What was going on?
Solaris eyed the path ahead with scrutiny. It was one path that lead into the forest, but directly after that it split into three seperate paths. They all looked the same for all appearances, but there were a few differences. The path to the left was quieter, swiveling his ears he could hear that the insect type and bird type there were fairly silent. The center path glittered at the end, what looked like pale, glowing stars littered the space ahead. His turned to the last path, eyes squinting to see past the darkness there. The trees overhead grew thicker than the others and it was almost completely dark. "Which...way do we go?"
A poll is about to be placed on the first page. Make your official guesses there after considering the options. RP amongst the other members and discuss the best course of action to take. The correct way pushes you further long your path, the wrong way will stall you. If even one person selects the wrong way [ in the voting, the guild will stay together] then a single road bump will slow you down. There is a single vote for the Path of Darkness. I placed that one to be able to observe the poll, disregard it when choosing. You have a set number of wrong answers you can get before this mission is failed.

 Steven
The Wartortle walked on his back two feet as he looked around. It was dark and thick. The number of usable paths was limited. Even if he pulled out a light and tried to find tracks, he was bound to find hundreds among the limited area. No doubt just about every pokemon in the forest had walked through the limited number of paths recently. This was looking to be a lot more effort than it was worth, unfortunately. Well... it's not like he could turn around at this point. That was a good way to get attacked. The Wartortle was taken from his musings as a Pikachu came up from behind him. He put on a friendly smile. There was no reason to chase the Pikachu away, after all. He might as well chat. "It's a nice night for work. It's clear." Even with his griping over the conditions, it wasn't entire unfavorable. The night sky was reasonably clear and it was mild enough. Even if some things were less than optimal, by no means was it entirely unfavorable. When the group came to a stop, Steven looked at the three paths presented and came to the obvious decision. He stepped to the front of the group and pointed straight forward, down the middle path. "She would have taken the lit path. It can't be the path to our left if the occupants are undisturbed and it's unlikely that she would stumble about in the dark. Even if she did, there's no way we would find her." Or be able to keep track of each other.

"Eros" + IsisIsis grumbled to herself as the guild began arriving at the forest, three paths to choose from huh? It figures as much...Now the question was which path to take. The Smoochum thought back to her detective novels she read on occasion. The dark path would be too obvious and the other path was too silent. However whatever they were hunting for could anticipate that and go through the obvious path...Decisions.
Eros meanwhile was shivering, having lost sight of Isis, his mind kept going back to that horrible nightmarish dream...that horrible darkness. He almost wished he could flip Darkrai off for scarring him for life, but alas that was impossible. It wasn't like he'd ever see Darkrai again anyway.
Just as the Misdreavus was gonna go into a mental breakdown again he looked up at an awesome odd looking Pokemon. It looked like a Shinx and an Eevee love child...
"Oh...umm...Su-sure!" He replied to the hybrid looking Pokemon, "You..have light right? I...I don't really like the dark...at all..." He finished with a small shiver.

.::Stark & Rem & Luna & Geisha & Siegfried & Argonne::.Stark stopped along with the rest of the Guild as they came to the crossroads. He looked between each of them, straight-faced, as he pondered the Guildmaster's question. Stark thought for a moment, then walked up toward the Guildmaster, who seemed somewhat lost. "Master Solaris, if I may." He gestured over the silent forest path. "If the one we're searching for had passed down here, they would have been noticed, yet the Pokemon in that direction are rather stilled. Even so, I don't think we should risk waking a bunch of wild Pokemon.""Stars are pretty.""Yes, Luna, hush. As my daughter has mentioned- somewhat- the stars themselves are a bit questionable. I mean, really- when do stars just magically appear, floating through a forest path?" He looked at the dark path, his mouth twisted in displeasure. "Odd as it seems, the dark path seems to be the best one to take- it's the most normal of the three. But that is my opinion only. Perhaps we should gather the opinion of some of the others first."

Tammet
Tammet had basically nothing else to say on what was going on. He'd figured the two Pokemon he was standing behind, a Buneary and a Kirlia, would be the two Pokemon he'd stay with during this little guild endeavor. He didn't mean to ignore Chase in a rude manner, he just simply wasn't listening. After all, he had been talking to himself~ Without another word, as the Pokemon began to move, Tammet followed. For the most part, his eyes were simply wandering and counting random objects. Soon, they all reached a pathway which split later on. Tammet stared at the path, highly intrigued. One becoming three? How interesting... Most Pokemon would find this meaningless, but this was how important numbers were to Tammet. Harumi - Victor - Aiden
Harumi looked pumped up and rearing to go. "Alright! I've heard about 'Meda, she's my great gramma! LET'S GO KICK HER a**!" She yelped in an excited manner, hopping up and down on her light paws. "Language, Miss Eclipse... And if things go right, we shouldn't be hurting anyone at all..." Victor nagged, sighed a bit and crossing his arms. You never knew when some religious Pokemon would come up and start taking offense to that kind of thing. Aiden simply watched Harumi, cocking an eyebrow. "You seem... Far too excited about going after a family member..." He muttered. After shortly bickering amongst each other, the three Pokemon followed Solaris' lead.((Roll was 51, Tommy is simply derp.))

~Blight "I-I think we're being followed." Blight found himself practically clinging to Chase's side despite the cold shoulder he was obviously receiving at the moment. Having entirely missed the earlier exchange of words between his teammate and the unidentifiable Pokemon standing behind them the feeling of having a set of eyes on him was inevitable. Like seriously, look at the eyes on that thing. Every so often the Buneary cocked his head back yo catch a glance of the peculiar, silent Pokemon as the guild traveled onward; Tammet's presence added on to their surroundings just giving him some hardcore creeps. If startled he'd end up hanging around his Kirlia companion's neck by this point.
~Finian Finian, having blended well into the hoards of guild members moving along to destinations unknown, kept his ears perked for the slightest hint of what was going on. Catching bits and pieces of conversation between peoples who loomed more important than himself there seemed to be talk of a malice figure on the loose and something about split paths ahead and a bit of confusion on which route to take. Not that he could see that far ahead in the crowd anyway to have any sort of opinion on the topic. It was the dead of night anyway, like really, all of it was the same darkness anyway.

ImitiqwertOliverqwertyChuckSo a path with stars, one with darkness, and one with silence, huh. Let's see, Imiti should probably not light the dark path. It would cause a lot of chaos, which they didn't need to deal with. Same with the silent path; if the guild were to go there and disturb the silence they'd probably end up fighting a lot of Pokemon. Therefore, the only practical path would be the one with the light...things. The same choice must have occured to Andromeda. The Wartortle had stated it the best. "I disagree," Imiti replied to Stark. "Assuming Andromeda has normal vision, she'd have to carry some sort of light into the dark path and she'd be heard in the silent path. The lit path is the only one where she wouldn't cause a ruckus. As for safety, I'm really not that concerned. We've defeated eldritch horrors and demigods, and the lights are in all likelihood perfectly mundane Ledian or Volbeat. Obviously we shouldn't just barge in and kill everything in sight, but the lit path seems both the safest and most likely the correct one."

Ethfael & Erinn As they made their way into the forest in silence, Erinn looked about furtively, expecting every other shadow to jump out at him. The Paras scuttled along anxiously, staying as close to Ethfael's side as was possible without it being uncomfortable. The presence of the far larger and more intimidating Dragonair was comforting to him since he knew that Ethfael wouldn't turn against him. ...Well, he thought so anyways. The Kirlia and Flareon made him nervous, the Flareon especially, but there was nothing he could do about it. When they stopped, the Paras glanced about uncertainly at each of the three paths. Where the others saw pathways he saw certain doom and destruction lying every which way. One way was quiet, too quiet and surely could mean that everyone there was dead; another was dark, far too dark for him, you couldn't see anything there; and the third was brighter, but stars shouldn't be so close to the ground which surely meant something bad. Reduced to muted whimpering, Erinn squeezed his eyes shut and didn't bother opening them again because he knew what terrors still lurked in his vision.
Ethfael looked about the paths with a slight hint of curiosity in his gaze, looking quite pensive. "Three paths hmm..." he said, half to himself, half to the others, looking about the area with interest, "We're following Meda so...Well we'll take that as the start." The Dragonair was not normally one for thinking out loud but the group would have to decide which way to go, so he didn't see any harm in it now. "Well I think it's plausible to rule out the quiet way, if someone passed through that way recently I doubt that all the Pokemon there would have slept through it..." He paused again, looking at the other two paths with equal intrigue, "I suppose that leaves these two then...The brighter path might make a better route to travel by..."
"No." Ethfael looked back with surprise at the sound of Erinn's voice, and how certain it was. "It's not a better way to go, you'll get attacked by going that way," the Paras said, eyes bright with fear, "Lights so close to the ground mean Bug Types, I'm sure of it." Clearly the idea of getting anywhere near the 'stars' bothered Erinn more than he let on.
Ethfael blinked in surprise at Erinn actually saying something with a point. It was true, there were no natural lights at such a level, meaning it had to be Pokemon. "You have a point," he said thoughtfully, looking out toward the brighter path once more, "Well I suppose that leaves only one option then." The Dragonair turned his head to look toward the darkest path, it was difficult to see but not impossible, a Pokemon could have made it through if they tried. "It seems like the darkest path is the best option," he said, glancing at Alice and Ver, "Would you agree?" The conversation was easily able to be overheard by those in the near vicinity, that being the entire group.

The Wartortle listened to the varying chatter. Some agreed, some disagreed. Those who disagreed made some good points. It was probably bug types at the end. But, all the same... "The lit path is the safest one. We have no idea which route it is so there's no reason to pick the more dangerous one. If we go down the dark path we're likely to get attacked, split up and slowed down. If we go down the lit path at the very least we'll be able to stay together and stay safe." It wasn't that the lit path was necessarily right, it's that it was much less dangerous. Steven was a strong advocate for the movement of "not getting Steven killed."

Pixie FrankieThe two friends watched as the other pokemon moved around within the groups, seeing how well they seemed to get along with each other. Pixie just felt kind of like a third wheel or something..... She didn't know what to do or how she could help. As she watched the others talk amongst themselves, she felt she should attempt to talk to a few of them, but then she'd just feel like she was intruding on something or forcing herself on them... The Vulpix wondered if Frankie felt the same way. Frankie was just intrigued by then number of hybrids there were in the guild. He had only seen one or two in the time he lived in the community with Pixie and here, there were multiple pokemon hybrids as well as unusually colored ones. And not unusual as in shiny like Pixie, but just unusual. Now he saw how sheltered the community was compared to the guild..... " They all seem to get along pretty decently, don't they Pixie?" " Yea, I heard about some tournament or something that was going on about the time we arrived here, we didn't have a chance to sign up or go. Well we could've gone, but it was basically done when i thought about going.... so yea. It definately would've been helpful to get to know some of the others before going on this wouldn't it?" Then they came upon the three-way split in the trail. One almost entirely silent.... a second filled with 'stars'..... and a third darker than night..... And the choice of which way to go was left up to us?! " But Frankie, we know next to nothing about this Meda we're chasing!! How are we supposed to choose?!" " Well maybe they suspect we're part psychic or something." A sly smile crept upon the Squirtle's face. Pixie just stared at him, unamused. " Well sooorry! Just trying to lighten the mood.... geez.... It's just my way of whistling in the dark... hehe It's night... clever..." " Well back to the topic at hand Mr. Cleverman, which direction do you think we should go?" Pixie knew, or thinks, that this 'Meda' was an Umbreon, but other than that.... nil. Unless she was able to hide the glowing circley things that all Umbreon had, it would be hard for her to go through the darkness without being spotted. If she was good at slinking through the darkness, like very good, she could possibly get past all the pokemon in the first road.... but we don't know that. If the pokemon were loud in that direction, it would be obvious which way to go, but life is never that obvious is it? The 'stars' would provide some cover for her markings while still dark enough to hide the rest of her body.... She hopes she's not overthinking this.... Frankie didn't really know what to think. But there was just something about those 'stars.' Were they repelling him or drawing him in? But there was just something about them..... Why couldn't his mind get offa those dang 'stars?!'

Ver -- AliceAlice followed close to Ethfael's opposite side while Ver trailed slightly behind her, far more observant of the surroundings than the straight forward perspective Kirlia. When the group halted, Alice's confliction returned and she gave off a slight whine at the sight of the paths, though she fell silent at the sound of Ethfael's aloud thinking. She made no effort in looking at the Dragonair, she merely listened. Ver came up at her side a moment after, eyeing the paths carefully as his ears gave a solid twitch as the small Paris spoke up. "Maybe they're quiet because they're scared...?" Alice frowned, resting her hand on Ethfael's side as uneasiness set in. Ver just shrugged. "Either is possible, but I still don't think it'd be that quiet out of fear. If she did go down that path, then chances are the Pokemon would have shown themselves by now with her leave." "...So I guess the light path is out of the question anyway then..."
The duo fell silent as Ethfael spoke up again.Neither responded immediately. "Well I guess we could go with the dark one." Alice's hand fell to her side, eyeing the other two paths for a moment before her gaze fell upon the darkest one. Needless to say, it didn't look reassuring at all but both Ethfael and Erinn had points. Maybe it was too quiet and the other path seemed to have rather settle activity-- though she merely assumed it was due to being left untouched despite the Paris' words. Alice finally looked up at Ethfael and nodded slightly, Ver merely glanced over along with her in silent agreement.
