Mal stared at Pollux, mouth slightly agape as the heavy truth he laid down put an abrupt end to their dialogue. To illustrate her mind being effectively blown, she lifted two fists to her head and did her best impression of an explosion, fingers splaying outwards to suggest so much brain matter splattering across the walls. "Damn, guy. That's some Intro to Philosophy level thinking right there. Way to kill the nice thing we had going."
Before Mal could ponder the profoundness of the trillions of atoms around her living their entire lives in split seconds, growing, loving, ********, fighting, dying in the blink of an eye, waves of experience flourishing and extinguishing in a single great sigh, Aster mentioned the phrase "power signature," and she was immediately distracted by the thought her life had turned into an 80's Sci-Fi film.
"Power signatures? I don't know what those are, but please tell me you need some kind of bitching wrist device to read them, and then tell me I can have one and that it doubles as an iPad."

"I wouldn't call it that." Flora noted, shaking her head. "It's different. Unsettling." Maybe if she could remember more about the past and her duty here, she would understand, but most of her memories were locked away. It was up to her to figure things out on her own, and that was pretty annoying.
"Technically, it's kind of like a tingling sense we get." She answered Mal. Perhaps it sounded strange to a civilian, but she had gotten so accustomed to it that it was actually difficult to describe. "I guess we use a cellphone to read them in a larger range, but I doubt the Guardian Cats would ever make it an iPad." Too bulky to carry around anyway.
"Be on your guard." She murmured to the Senshi in the room.

Sailor Circe briefly looked at Aster with a coy grin. “Just a mickey. Enough for a few or one really good drink.” The senshi was happily distracted by sipping on her drink and a good ol’ brownie; watching the back and forth exchanges between Flora and Pollux, both of whom she thought needed to relax and unwind.
“Feel something?” Circe was just as slow as Aster to pick up on that sensation of something dangerous looming around. “You’re too jumpy, relaaaa-----“ Circe’s half eaten brownie tumbled out of her mouth and fell to the ground. The aura of something slowly crept into he senses like a spider crawling on her skin. Circe jumped up and brushed at her side even though there wasn’t anything on her, just that dark presence on her senshi-radar. Or maybe it was just the pot starting to mess with her.

Perhaps Pollux wasn't that annoying, at least he was staying to mingle, and he did seem concerned for them. "I take meds for my ADHD," he responded. "But it's nothing that I can't live without."
He made a note that smoking was frowned upon up here, though he didn't believe that the Surrounding would keep them from smoking. He wasn't going to tell Mal that though, she could figure it out for herself. In any case, it didn't actually effect him, he didn't smoke, but with all the adults around, it was helpful information that he could share if he needed.
He became aware of an uneasy feeling in his stomach, but it wasn't until Flora said that something was wrong, that he paid it any mind. "Please tell me it's not a space whale."

IT HAS ARRIVED. You wouldn't know it at first but then, out of the corner of your eye, a flicker of white. There are countless stars shining off of the edge of the Surrounding but this is different, it's a true flicker. A pinprick of white that again flashes dark. Almost like the antiquated Morse Code it goes black and white and grows in shape and size as the monster approaches the group. It's not too very large, perhaps the size of two grown men in length and half of one in height. It moves on four legs with a massive, blunted head like a lizard more than a dragon, dual tails lashing back and forth. As they move from left to right the colors of its body shift. Right, white, left, black. Should its tails stop moving entirely the colors no longer shift. As it eyes focus on the group it slams itself down in the midst with its weight, dividing the group in two momentarily. Quote: Right Side GroupMal Flora Circe Quote: Left Side GroupPollux Aster Ian As its tails flicked and the colors moved faster and faster and faster, your eyes start to feel funny. Then, really, the rest of you starts to feel funny. Parts of your anatomy feel heavier, lighter, everything feels...out of whack. Looking down, you see that you have apparently changed gender. Aster's brownies were a real trip. Maybe if you could stop that damn flickering your head might feel better and you could figure out what in the name of everything great and wonderful was going on. Or maybe you like the flickering? Some kids were just a little too into their raves.

Circe blinked repeatedly. She saw black and white patterns without a clue of what to really make of it. Then she saw the creature coming at them, what was it? A troll or a space spider. The teal senshi couldn’t make heads or tails of the thing until it whipped at them and forced Circe to move back with Mal and Flora. “What…. Dragon!? I’m not imagining that am I?”
She didn’t know if it was the effect of the brownies or the flickering and the black and white monster, but Circe was definitely feeling a bit funny. She looked down a noticed that her favorite feature was missing and her senshi bodice was filling in a very different manner. Which only made Circe laugh. She , or rather he, felt himself up; monster be damned, this was certainly amusing! Circe had always wondered what it was like to be a boy, and frankly it wasn’t half bad.

If it had just been a normal day, back at Hillsworth, Ian might have thought that the baker had spiked the brownies with something a bit stronger, and more hallucinatory than pot, but it wasn't anything like a normal day, or even week for that matter. He was willing to give her the benefit of the doubt.
"Wow, that's trippy," he muttered, watching the colors change on the lizard monster. He didn't even notice when his body changed, entranced by the flickering. "You guys are seeing this too, right?"

Alright. Great. At least it wasn't a whale, but it certainly was a monster which could do some harm. It looked dragon-y, and Flora thought that it rather reminded her of a Pokemon, though she could never remember the names of each and every single one. "I don't think you are." She replied to Circe, grimacing.
Watching the colors change on the monster made her feel rather dizzy. Flora closed her eyes for a moment and then opened them... and realized that things looked different. It certainly felt different. A hand was gingerly placed on her chest, except it didn't feel very her anymore. "Oh no." Flora whispered. Oh no no no no! Stupid monster! What was up with all these things that invaded the Surrounding? First it made her emo, and now it made her a dude?! She glanced over at Pollux warily and made a face. Flora hated this. This had to stop.
"Flora Pollen Storm!" She called out, directing the cloud of pollen at the monster's head.

"So... you have a spidey sense. Though I guess in your case it's a senshi sense. Though I don't know why you'd want to refer to it as anything other than a spidey sense, because if I had a spidey sense, let me tell you, I would own that s**t."
Mal was about to step off the precipice and plunge into a rambling mediation on the many things she would do if she had a spidey sense - chief among them fully realizing the pulp 30's crime fighting alter ego she had created for herself in middle school, The Velvet Jewess - when she found herself knocked back by a lizard monster. As she caught herself on the wall behind her, her thoughts were as ********! I was just about to run a train on those Charleston Chews."
"I ******** knew it was dinosaurs!"
"Wait... why does my body suddenly feel less like a sacred garden and more like a lump of anger and sex?"
Slumped against the wall, Mal looked down at herself with eyes made blurry by the creature's rapid flickering. Even without having to squint, she could register the unfamiliar, unfeminine shape of her own body. Hands groped her suddenly flat chest, while the less that was said of the new sensations cropping up below her waistline, the better. She looked up to see that the two girls beside her had also opted for a change in lifestyles, as it were.
After thinking about how shifting genders would at least only require her to change the "a" in her name to an "e," Mal began to scream hysterically.

Pollux was somewhat used to the s**t that often went down in Destiny City. Monsters came in all sorts of shapes and sizes. But he'd come after space whale. He didn't know the surrounding's monsters. All he did know was that space was still dangerous. When a monster came and wrecked up the party, he didn't think that space was any safer with the zodiacs. Space: Officially a danger zone.
The shifting lights and colors were rather headache inducing as his gaze followed the creature's movements, not to mention there was a wholly unpleasant feeling going through him. Just what the ******** was going on? As he stepped back, his chest suddenly felt heavier. His shirt felt tighter and well...
Why did his pants suddenly seem loose?
Looking down, Pollux expected to be able to see his feet. Only he couldn't. While the sudden space transformation certain explained a few things, he really did not want this. A hand was brought up and he gave his new assets a grope. A squeeze and Pollux frowned. Boobs were more sensitive then he'd thought. Another glance at the monster, and he immediately regret it. Flashing lights were so not helping the situation. His body could be taken care of later. There was a monster. He was surrounded by civilians. Most of those around him were high. Fate was an a*****e. Hearing Flora's attack, Pollux figured he would also have to step up to the plate. He was a menshi right? Or. He had been.
Close enough.
"Chilling storm!" The frost was aimed at the beast's body rather then the ground. Hopefully it would have some effect.

Sailor Aster had been in various states of intoxication. Her checklist of drugs experimented with is long enough to disgust, and the effects she experienced varied with each one. But in all of these states, in all of her hallucinations, in all of her trips, in all of her highs, she never had a p***s.
She - he - scratched his head in confusion as he adjusted himself within his skirt. He suddenly felt very naked in this fuku.
"Its not the brownies," Aster assured Ian.
He looked at Pollux and Flora who were using their abilities against the creature. Not wanting to seem like an even worse Senshi - distributing pot brownies probably made her look bad enough - he mimicked their actions.
"Sunflower Turret!" he cried as a small sunflower appeared before him and began to shoot sunflower seeds at the monster at a rapid rate.

Her, or rather his, now that he was paying attention, reassurance was welcome, and he grinned. "I didn't think so, but I'm glad I'm not the only one seeing this."
He stepped back, out of the way of the two senshi, his front jiggling in a way that it hadn't before. His hands drifted his front, and he let out a squeak when he realized what had happened.
"Aren't there any normal monsters around here?" Ian whined. "First I was turned purple, and now I'm a girl."
He took a couple of deep breaths, fighting to keep himself calm. "Just let me know if there's anything I can do." He knew that they had a better chance of getting rid of it than he did, since they had nifty powers, but he was still willing to help if he was needed.
Having a breakdown because he had been turned into a girl could come later.

Unfortunately for everyone involved, including the monster, attacks never were the most polite way to say hello. The pollen disoriented, the frost stung, the sunflower seeds were insult to injury as they all pelted the beast. Its tails were flicking rapidly now back and forth so fast that keeping an eye on the thing was tricky at best and painful at worst. Its tongue lashed out to wrap around Sailor Aster's ankle for a moment. He? She? could feel, just a bit, the energy draining from her body. It must have not liked the taste of their energy though, as the tongue released almost in time with another pelting of sunflower seeds. It was not happy. A beam of light shot from its mouth, blinding everyone for a moment. It cleared but spots would be left in front of the groups' eyes for several moments to come. Quote: You are still gender swapped! When the light fades Group One and Group Two look just a bit different. Each team will see the other as enemies. Your group mates look as normal as possible to you considering the circumstances but somewhere in the light the other team has vanished to be replaced with more enemies! Each senshi has 20 hp. Each civilian has 10 hp. If you are going to attack someone of the opposite team you roll one d6 for damage. You may not jump in front of someone and absorb their damage for simplicity's sake. You may only roll once per round. Once you run out of HP you faint. If you have any questions please ask them in (( OOC brackets )).

"I should have brought sunglasses." Flora declared to no one in particular, wincing as she attempted to shield her (his? No, she refused to think that way, ugh) eyes with an arm. The light that came next was blinding, and it took a few moments to blink before her vision returned. Strangely enough, she couldn't see the others anymore, only Mal and Circe.
"Pollux?" She called out, voice wavering slightly in uncertainty. Had that lizard monster snatched them up? Or was it those enemies that were right in front of her right now? "Aster?" They couldn't very well have Senshi vanish in the Surrounding! Panicked by this thought, Flora kicked at the nearest enemy... who just so happened to be Pollux.

Mal continued to scream as the senshis assaulted the monster with a barrage of... was that chick shooting sunflower seeds at it? Mal wasn't one to criticize - except when it came to books, movies, musical tastes, and other people's fashion sense - but if she had to describe the so-called guardians of humanity based solely on her experiences with them so far, she would have to say they were less than impressive.
The flash of light finally shut her up, hands flying up to shield her gaze from the creature's blinding beam. Mal blinked as the light dissipated, yellow blotches lingering as her eyes attempted to readjust. She wanted to scream more, but something inside of her told her she was being hysterical. Screaming was emotional, and only girls had emotions. She was a man, and men had no need for such things as feelings, logic, reason, or multiple orgasms. One was good enough for them.
Mal’s instincts were in fluctuation. Years of being a fierce independent woman were flying in the face of the all-encompassing influence of testosterone, which demanded she either attempt to punch or court everything in her path. And considering the two people besides her were dudes and that the other group had been lost to a fresh crop of enemies, her options were at least pretty clear.
Mal gave her best barbaric yawp and struck out at Aster, a sickening twinge in her belly as that semester of feminist literature was rendered completely useless in a single act of violence.
Fortunately for Aster, years of Mal being a fierce independent woman coincided with her years of being a stoner layabout. Her best punch was weakened by the numerous bags of Doritos she had consumed in her lifetime.
[1HP of damage to Aster! Mama said knock you out!]
