Really tall means large target. And if you're being sneaky, then your head-to-head is probably going to suffer for it unless you can hide. Counter styles shall be your bane, savage rage, your friend. Grappling would be easier for him than most people, since he can reach so much further. However, that's a bit of a double-edged sword. With such large limbs, grappling him shall be easier, unless he is a LOT stronger than he looks. Though I think he looks older than sixteen. XD
Anyway, you for style help, this is what I'm thinking so far. If it helps, great. If not, I'm sorry. Otherwise, the rest of it also has my own stamp of approval! It's just a footprint.

Well my idea for Eli was that he uses his Dark affinity to hide in the shadows and reappear to b***h slap the crap out of his opponent, then hide again and etc. Rinse and repeat. His Dark affinity has helped him in the past, not by providing him with teleportation powers, but just making him more nimble/quick/sneaky in the darkness, though he hasn't made the connection yet. And well... He is stronger than he looks, and that was the youngest picture I could find of him. sweatdrop He said he doesn't look sixteen. It's probably the Demon in him. YES I'M BLAMING HIS DEMON SIDE. Aaaand, guess who's gonna shine in his wrestling class? That's right, it's Eli. Though that's not why I chose it. sweatdrop As apparent, I'm really bad at this fighting stuff, but you already knew that. Anyway, thanks for the footprint... though I'm thinking maybe you kicked me. neutral

I kind of figured you would use the shadows like that. He'll have a great striking range than most too. Though anyone with a Light or Fire affinity will be able to stop that. If you get creative with the others, then you can find you too. I can help!
Tee hee about the picture and the kicking.
Wrestling... Aventr might get involved, a little. We'll see who's top dog.

I figured. Aventr's a tall dude too, isn't he? Though you'll really have to goad Eli into any sort of fight, since he's so... chill.

No, Aventr's nowhere near Eli's height, that's Isaac. Still. Good luck with that. xD

I'd be happy to.
As you discovered, no, Aventr isn't incredibly tall. And he's not aggressive, really, so he wouldn't be starting a fight. But there are a lot of grapple moves involved in Krav Maga and Commando Sambo, so I figured they might wind up sparring or something. Which, heads up. Both are best at critical strikes and joint inversion...
... They're both counter styles with insanely focused priorities.
