Lattice wouldn't have minded getting hurt in Mitsu's place but she decided to just let the topic drop or else they'd be going around in circles on who should or should not be hurt in the other's place. The best thing to do, of course, was to avoid it entirely if possible. It was a thought that went unspoken.
The Engraver nodded and smiled lightly, "I shall meet you there at about lunch time then," she said simply. Lattice would make sure to try and be prompt for this little meeting. "I shall bring the tea and some food..."
She enjoyed the holding of hands with Mitsu as she nodded a bit, "I would like that very much, Mitsu. Thank you for becoming my friend today." Lattice uttered sincerely as they made their way back. Upon arrival at her door she paused a moment before she leaned to kiss Mitsu on the cheek, a small chaste sisterly kiss but she mis-aimed a bit and caught a part of the other Ghoul's mask.
"..Oh...Do tell me more about your mask next we meet," Lattice said thoughtfully with a small chuckle, "but please do accept the alternate token of affection in place of a hug."

"I'll bring some treats too." Mitsu wasn't sure what she would bring, maybe Xiu would have some ideas. Or perhaps Xiu would like to come along? Mitsu seemed to remember the baku liked tea.
"Thank you for being my friend as well," Mitsu gave the engraver's hand a light squeeze, pleased that the day had turned out rather well despite the jerk in the park. She had made a new friend after all.
When they came to a stop outside of Lattice's door Mitsu was surprised a bit by the ghoul suddenly leaning toward her, feeling lips touching her cheek. Instantly a blush started to cross her face from the contact, her hand coming up to lightly touch the spot Lattice had just kissed. "Uh..I..I will." Mitsu hesitantly nodded though, like the topic about her brother, the purpose behind her mask wasn't an easy one for her to share.
"Oh, hug?" Mitsu had noticed the needles in the girl's arms. While they didn't look to bother the engraver Mitsu wasn't so certain they wouldn't cause her harm. But...was she suppose to kiss Lattice back? How did this work exactly?
"I-It was very nice to meet you, Lattice. I look forward to our meeting again." Slowly Mitsu leaned in, almost awkwardly before moving her mask aside enough to place a soft peck on Lattice's cheek in return. Standing up straight again Mitsu made sure her mask was in place before offering the ghoul a short wave. "I'll see you soon, Lattice." With that she left the ghoul so that she could relax in her room until they were able to meet again.

"That sounds wonderful." Lattice said in response to Mitsu bringing treats as well. The more the merrier of course.
Lattice felt happiness well up in her when Mitsu agreed with and returned the sentiment. That was very nice to be accepted in return no matter the conditions, "At least what the mask looks like. I cannot see it very well," Lattice clarified when noting the hesitation.
When the kiss was returned on her cheek she seemed to happy accept it with no ill will or further ceremony nor did she blush. It was a sign of affection from a new friend, no more and no less. She nodded lightly, "I do as well, take care on your journey back to your room." Waving slightly until Mitsu was out of sight she turned and wandered into her own room to regain her composure.
