Dell had finished his generous helpings of food, and now regarded the perverted elf from a distance, his head tilted to the left. Man, he's a weirdo. I'd be really embarrassed there. It was truly amazing what a small Felixin could overhear. His head tilted in curiosity so far that it rested on his shoulder. Once more, he shuffled around in his seat. ...Exploding ovens? AWESOME!

Michael Black
"There are three things in this world that I love." Mike had finished the repairs on the ship a bit earlier than expected, so the crew had decided to stay here for a while. He himself decided to walk around and just relax before something else went wrong and he was called back to the ship. "What to do, what to do." He looked around, not seeing anything to do at all. He did notice a Wingfolk boy give a poor family a bag of money, a couple of kids head into Dell's usual restraurant, and a human and Canine pushing a cart with a stove some other things on it. Everyone's so busy today. Huh. His ears flicked when a fly landed on one of them, and he snatched the fly in his hand and stared at it. "You things annoy me." But, he let the fly go and watched it buzz away.
"My job, my apprentice, and the sky. Lots and lots of sky."

"Hohoho! Boy how would like to hear tales of the Kitchen in there entirety?" Douglas slammed a fist down on his table, while he raised his other hand up high while holding a butter knife, "How about the tale of the 100 pound lobster or the fillet of the giant salmon, Oh here's another good one The Chili of Destruction!"
~~~
Eva looked over towards the restaurant and stopped, "Isn't that your father?"
Isaac didn't look towards the restaurant, "Nah couldn't be, he wouldn't, leave the shop knowing I'd be headed home with this... " Isaac's attention was more towards the wingfolk that just gave up a large amount of money to a mother and child, "hold up for a moment will you." He let go of the trolley and walked up to the wingfolk. "Hey that was a nice thing that you just did." He smiled warmly.
"Sure, just leave me to deal with the heavy trolley here." Eva mumbled as she struggled to stop it, the weight of the oven pulling her along slightly.
Yvonne looked at the human who she'd seen a few minutes ago as he spoke to her. "Oh. Thank you. I just didn't want anything happening to them." She smiled a bit, looking at the Canine. "Is she a friend of yours?"
Aiden Taylor
"People always ask what's more important to me. My sister, or my alchemy?" Aiden looked at the man when he mentioned food in a dramatic voice, blinking. "That doesn't even sound safe." He sat down at a table, next to Cecily. He was tense, which always happened when there were a ton of men around Cecily. It was his sort of way to warn people not to touch or look at her. "Lets hurry up and eat so we can get out of here." Of course, all he did was order a couple of sandwiches and a glass of water.
"The answer is simple. I love my alchemy, but my sister is the most important thing in my life."
Cecily Taylor
"Ever heard the phrase, 'Looks can be decieving'?" Cecily looked at Aiden, seeing he was tense again. "Honestly, Aiden. Calm down. If anyone hurts me, hit them with an Ice Bomb or something." She ordered spaghetti, juice, and rice balls. A few guys blinked at her, surprised she had ordered more food than her brother. "Besides, we should look around the town a bit before rushing to visit Mom and then leave on your alchemy quest."
"Well, I may look like a normal girl, but I am far from it."
Isaac blinked and looked back at Eva struggling with the trolley, "Oh jeez," He ran over and slammed his foot down on one of the manual breaks. "Sorry forgot to do that," Eva gave him her evil eye, making him turn away in fear back to the wingfolk, "Ya, so anyway I feel that one good deed deserves another, want to come to my family's pub for a meal. It won't be all that glamorous, and we will be limited to what we can cook because of a... malfunction of our oven, but I'm sure you'll be satisfied." Eva was about ready to rip his head off, "Of course Eva you'll joins us as well, right?" This seemed to appease her, she nodded and looked away.
Fillet of the giant salmon! "Did somebody say salmon?" Dell rushed up to and stared at the butter-knife man, entranced. "And what about the lobster? I love lobster..." He was lost in his own world of seafood at this point.
Yvonne blinked. "Sure, but that was all the money I had, so I'm kind of broke until I win another gamble." She was actually surprised the man she'd won the money from before hadn't come running after her demanding a rematch or his money back. She was also surprised that this guy hasn't called her a boy yet, but knew it was bound to happen soon enough. "So, um....I don't think I'll be able to pay...."
"Money, bah! Then it'll be on the house then." Isaac patted the wingfolk on the back before returning to his spot in front of the trolley.
Eva continued to stay silent, she couldn't stand how much of a goodie goodie, Isaac was at times, "Please don't turn him down, I'll have to listen to him complain about how this conversation could have gone better for the next hour."
"E-Eva???" He turned back to the wingfolk, "You, don't have to come if you don't want to."
Eva raised an eyebrow, "Wait, so now you're retracting the offer?" she knew Isaac didn't mean it in that way, but she wanted to play a mind game with him. Though she didn't show it in her face, her tail was wagging with enjoyment.
"NO! I didn't mean it like that, please join us. We would enjoy your company."
~~~
Douglas looked down at the small Felixin with a smile, "Well now. I have a listener! Grab a chair, young one and I'll tell you a tales of the kitchen like no other." He sat down in his chair once again and pondered, "Hmm... Which one should I tell, the salmon... or the lobster. I'd say the lobster but I'll let you decide."

Dell eagerly grabbed a chair and sat down., his hands on the front of said chair. "I don't know, mister! Maybe the salmon?" He waved his tail through the gap in the back of the chair, staring intently at the "mister".

Aiden Taylor
"People always ask what's more important to me. My sister, or my alchemy?" Aiden looked over at the man and the Felinekin. He wasn't very interested in the man's stories like the Felinekin boy was, but he could never pass up a good story. "Cecily, what should we do after seeing Mom? I mean, I'd like to leave, but I know you'll keep me here."
"The answer is simple. I love my alchemy, but my sister is the most important thing in my life."

Cecily Taylor
"Ever heard the phrase, 'Looks can be decieving'?" Cecily looked at her brother, her gaze bored and dangerous as she took a bite of her food. "Of course I'm going to keep you here for a bit, big brother. You need to take a break from your alchemy search." She took another bite of her food and looked over at the man and the boy. She thought the boy was cute, and watched as his tail twitched happily. Her cheeks turned red, and she had to force herself not to go over and pet it.
"Well, I may look like a normal girl, but I am far from it."

Yuu looked at the man and the Felinekin boy, listening to them with interested. He had finished his food, and was now moving closer to the pair to listen to the man talk.

"Hmmm, Alright then." Douglas leaned back in his seat and looked at the ceiling,collecting his thoughts. "This story takes place several years back, I'd say my boy was about your age kiddo. Anyway I was walking through the market district one day, A new group of traders had shown up the night before so there was a bunch of new inventory. There I was just walking through the stalls when suddenly I saw it, the biggest fish I've ever seen, swimming in a tank.
I mean it was massive, a good 3 feet taller then I, and at least a couple hundred pounds of pure fish. When I asked the merchant if it was real, he tapped the tank startling the salmon. With a mighty sweep of it's tail a splash of water came out and drenched me and the merchant.
I got mad and ended up paying the merchant without haggling, and jumped into the tank without a second thought... I regretted that decision almost instantaneously. Wrestling with a fish that size in a small tank like that I was slammed up against the side of the tank repeatedly.
After a long and arduous battle I cam out TRIUMPHANT! I ran back to my home with that fish slung across my shoulders where I then prepared it for cooking knowing that it would spoil if not cooked soon, that night salmon dishes where half price and double portions... It was feast of EPIC proportion. And THAT is the Tale of the giant salmon. Not so much a kitchen tale but a tale none the less!
