Yoko rolled his eyes as Hiei took flight and turned to go look at his seed collection. He was pretty sure he had a plant that would help with his stomach. Besides it would be something to do while Hiei was out getting dinner. He looked at them briefly and briefly entertained the notion that it would be interesting to be a carer just to be able to talk to them and understand them. Then he violently shook his head, ugh this was just stupid. Utterly stupid. Why the hell was he turning into a sap.
He was a thief and he loved his particular job, the thrill of stealing something valuable, shiny and practical. Besides the two would be out of the bcr’s soon enough and terrorizing the world, probably be annoying just on principal and talk his ear off. Soon enough Hiei came back with dinner and tossed the rabbit towards him. He mixed in his herbs and ate his rabbit silently while listening to Hiei.
Yoko shook his head and looked like he was going to open his mouth a couple of times but none the less listened to his partner. “I suppose” Yoko finally decided. He kept it to himself that there where daevas and other creatures stupid enough and probably strong enough to take them on. After all the kits would be their own little persons and they would want to escape to live their own life. All it took was one little moment. A cold look passed over his face again. God there he was being a sap again. He hoped a modeity wasn’t going to be stupid to come close to him any time soon.
“I don’t really profess to be an expert on the little buggers however considering I don’t see a slot or opening to feed them with I would assume it works like an egg where everything they need to survive is in their with them until they are big enough to pop out and annoy the hell out of us.” Yoko answered shrugging. Come to think of it how long where they going to have to carry them around?

Hiei noted the cold expression on Yoko's face and didn't need to be a mind reader. He snorted again, sometimes his mate had such hang ups. "Again, Fox. Entrail. Decorations. Besides, if my sister can survive us, anyone can." Hiei loved his sister, he did. A bevy of Deities couldn't wrangle that admission from him, but he did. That didn't stop her from being hopelessly gentle and naive.
The Deava had absolutely no illusions that either of these girls were going to grow up like Yukina. It would be absolutely impossible if they grew up around himself and Yoko. In fact, Hiei was going to teach them how to defend themselves as soon as they hatched. Or as soon as they calmed down after they hatched.
"Egg?" Hiei looked at the BCRs and shook his head. "Why is it an egg? We may have wings, but we aren't birds." He pointed out. He did not even think to argue with his mate about the little things' power to annoy them upon hatching.

“Yes but Yukina only had to survive you, I just met her a few days ago if you recall” Yoko mentioned with a weird look. Besides if both the girls ended up like Yukina Yoko would just quit. It would cause way too many ulcers. However then there was the small yet fast growing sadistic glee that meant it was his right as a father to kill all the suitors they brought home right? Okay so he could definitely work with that.
“It wasn’t a look about potential threats to them though; it was more I thought my whole demeanor towards the thing was stupid. I didn’t really like it, if being all sappy is what I get to look forward too….” Yoko trailed off and shook his head. He was about to say that he didn’t want any more children, but something felt hollow about the whole thing.
“Well I cant really say I remember being in my bcr and thus can not tell you what kept me alive during that time. I just assume it has all the stuff to live in there as the modeities put them in the bcr to keep them safe. Doesn’t make sense if they don’t provide food and let the kit starve, they do stay in there for a while.” Yoko mused.

Hiei snorted. "Are you going senile in your old age? It's been more than a few days, Fox. And any enemies could find her and get her, it's why I left her in the first place. Pain in the butt found me, though." Hiei had lost his point grumbling about his sister, she even distracted him when she wasn't here, but went straight back on track. "It's been a couple of weeks. And she knows she's to come straight here if anything happens. It's the best we can do if we don't want her in the cave with us." And Hiei didn't. The last thing he wanted was his sister to be around when Yoko...was being Yoko.
"As for your sappyness. That's your own fault. I won't be acting like that." He said haughtily, poking one of the BCRs. It wiggled and he snatched his paw back, hopping to his feet. "It moved. I thought you said it would stay in there for a while." The BCR wiggled again, then went still.

Yoko just stared at his mate and shook his head. Hadn’t he forgot Yoko had left for a few days because Hiei hadn’t found it important enough to tell him Yukina even existed. It was understandable though; the bcrs had been rather nerve shaking. However he did agree it would definitely put a damper on any such activities if Yukina actually lived with them. He wasn’t above having an audience but Hiei would definitely throw a fit and he didn’t want to get in the ensuing fight in front of Yukina. Besides she had the right to go and at least try to find her own mate, the poor girl would so not be allowed to even get a decent start if Hiei was around.
Yoko resisted the ure to pace his face in his paws as Hiei freaked out. The poor guy obviously hadn’t been around bcr’s too much. He had only been forced due to a certain red head. “They will Firefly. However they are alive in there, they’ve been born after all. The bcr just keeps them safe until they are big enough” Yoko stated keeping all amusement out of his tone.

Hiei sent his mate a suspicious glare. He may have been able to keep the tone out of his voice, but not out of his thinking. Going back to his spot, he poked the other BCR until it wiggled too. "I wonder if they'll come out with bright turquoise hair?" After all, the majority of his known family had turquoise hair; neither BCR seemed to have much turquoise on them though.
"They do eat real food when they come out, right?" He asked Yoko. "And how soon can we teach them to hunt?"

“Well their BCR tends to look like the kit most of the time. So I would say they have our hair colors. No turquoise hair.” Yoko replied. Then again with the way his relatives treated Hiei. He almost wondered if it was better in the long run their children would take more after them. It looked like one of them was even going to have Hiei’s gravity defying hair. Oh she was going to hate Hiei for that, his mate had lovely hair but it would look horrible on a girl. After all it was very masculine hair.
“Yes they eat real food. As for teaching them, I cant claim to be an expert at kits Hiei, I’m just as new as it as you are. However Yukina might kill us for child abuse if we don’t wait until they are bigger than our paw” Yoko mused.
