Kurai tilted her head slightly at him, raising an eyebrow at his blank expression. "You alright?" she asked softly. Since she was still Angel at the moment, she cared for others more than Dark Angel did.

"yeah,my dad yells at me all the time so it's ok..." he tried to say in a somewhat happy way but it was easy to tell he was sad "anyway we should get to class" Shiki tried to end the conversation and walked around Kurai and headed to towards the class room.

Kurai tilted her head and hurried after him, catching up to his side quickly. "You know, if you want to talk, you just need to ask. I'll be here to listen at least," she suggested, smiling softly at him.

Shiki looked at her for the corner of his eye "I don't need to talk about anything" he said being stubborn and started playing with his bell again "don't drag anyone into you're family problems" He mumbled quietly so no one could hear him.

Kurai raised an eyebrow before grabbing his shoulder and pulling Shiki to a stop in the hall. "You clearly need to talk to someone, and despite my rude act just now, I really am there for you... I'm your friend, right?"

Shiki just stared in front of him for a moment and let go of his bell then turned around to look at Kurai "friend? but I don't even know your name..."

Kurai smiled and nodded to him. "Kurai Enzeru. Lot's of people don't even call me Kurai anymore. Either Angel or Dark Angel."
