Demi, through all the stammering and flushed cheeks could only think of a few coherent thoughts.
One was that Levi needed to stop teaching people that stuff.
She also need a hug of gratitude but still, a ban on her self defense training.
"Yo-you PERFECTED this move!?" he practically screamed out an octave higher than he normally spoke, not really enjoying the whole immobilization of his body. and there she was sitting on his-
and she was-
and he was-
and he could have sworn there was blood coming from his nose.
Through all the noise and screaming, Regal and Tsar merely watched with awe at the ghoul and her power over their owner.

The baku blinked down at him in surprise, puzzled by the strange tone in his voice. "I perfected it, yes! ...Are you sick, Demi? Your voice sounds strange." Since she was close enough anyways, she did what her uncle always did when he checked for fevers--she leaned forward to briefly press her forehead against Demi's and then drew back with a frown. Well, he seemed a little...warmer than average? That didn't seem normal.
Standing up, the ghoul pat herself off and then plunked herself back down beside the boil, frowning as she eyed him with concern. Maybe she had been too rough? "Are you sure I don't need to get you a blanket or something?" The fact that she had just pinned him down had already been washed away in her mind, replaced instead by worry.
...Was his face looking a little red, or was it just her?

Ok, having the Baku sit on him was one thing, but now she was....
No no no! this had to be some kind of cruel dream! Try as he might (except why was he resisting?) he squirmed and keened as the Baku closed in millimeter by millimeter to his face and she was, she was...
........checking his temperature with her forehead on his. He under much embarrassment, still had enough blood at his face to flush at the close contract and stayed very rigid still! he didn't even dare to take a breath until she was finished.
And just as soon as it had happened, it was over like some kind of mirage, in which he promptly sat up and put the napkin and cupcake over his lap as best as it would stay there, for reason that which Xiu..... honestly did not need to know. "I'm fine." he stammered out, placing his full attention at the pastry and the fork that was cutting into it with care. "You've been trained well, Xiu." he said back politely, his cheeks flushing even more that the memories of the action.
He didn't know if the Baku was a tease or just really innocent.
No, she was just innocent.

Xiu brightened up immediately at the compliment, her lips tugging upwards into a happy smile. "You really think so?" The little Baku beamed proudly, thinking about relaying this information to Levi later on in the day. She was certain that the tatzel would be happy to hear that her student was doing quite well! She still needed to continue practicing these moves, however--Xiu knew that she needed to keep herself ready if anyone ever tried to attack her or her friends.
Which seemed...unlikely, honestly, but it was good to be careful!
Turning her attention to Regal and Tsar, she leaned forward and tilted her head. "What did you two think? Levi is a good teacher, isn't she?" The Baku was blissfully unaware of Demi's embarrassment.

Of course Regal and Tsar was hanging of her every word and barking like mad when she was finished with Rapt attention. The Traitorous partners. "oh I know so Xiu, I mean look at me." Damien replied back from his prone position on the floor with his hands in the air. "I've been completely ghoul handled." playing along with the ghoul and her abilities and not that it was just their close proximity to one another. He might have found it hard to swallow looking dead at her face. "Like a caught bandit." he muttered softly and yelped like a fool when the two backstabbing canines began to flop over his face.

Xiu looked absolutely delighted at Demi's words, a flush spreading across her cheeks. "I-I'm sure Levi would be really proud to hear that!" And of course, she cherished the opinion of her big sister-slash-teacher. Not many others--if anyone--had seen her self-defense moves except Levi, so the fact the the hellhound seemed to have a positive response encouraged her to continue practicing hard. She must have been doing something right after all!
She broke out of her thoughts when the two canines flopped over Demi's face. At first, her eyes had widened in surprise, and then she began to giggle. "Wha--hey, you two! You shouldn't do that!" She was smiling though, and reached out to pat Regal on the head. Then, she turned her attention to Tsar, hands outstretched as if to pick him up off of Demi's face. However, before she could do so, she paused.
"...May I?" She asked the stray for permission, hoping that poor Demi wasn't suffocating beneath his minis.

Well it wasn't anything new, to have the mini's climb over his face like it was a dog bed. It was in face they're favorite past time when he was asleep. "Mph ffth ft pprh fht!" he tried to speak from behind the pile of scruffle fur in front of his face that settled in comfortably against him. however Regal and Tsar was having a blast with the new ghoul that lavished attention on them,Regal at once flipped over on his masters face for tummy rubs and Tsar happily jumped up into the Baku's arms like she had the promise of bacon on her. In which left part of his face and nose, the chance to breathe again without resorting to betting them off with a squeaky toy. The mini's didn't care about a thing when it came to playtime and affection. "They're going to kill me one day Xiu, i know it." he said half smirking, half gasping for air, and felt the cool tongue of Regal licking his face apologetically. "Yeah yeah, I know Regal."

"How are you doing, Demi?" Xiu asked, smiling as she held Tsar to her chest. The stray received and affectionate scratch behind the ears before she cuddled the mini to her chest. Would Arashi be okay if she were to go get a canine mini, she wondered? Hopefully?
She never knew they were so huggable!
Laughing at Demi's words, she reached out and tried to beckon Regal over with the silent promises of scratches and rubs. "I think it's quite sweet, really," She grinned, watching Regal lick his owner's face, "They love you a lot. You're a really nice guy, Demi."
The last part was added with a smile as she reached out to pat his head. Honestly, it didn't surprise her in the least that her minis were so fond of him.

if there was ever a time for Demi face to turn scarlet, it was now as he flushed at Xiu's endearing comment that made him feel all warm and uncomfortable. "haha, you think so?" he said embarrassingly as he scratched at an itch on his cheek, probably from scruffle drool. it was always amazing how a kind word from her could just make his day, well night as it were as the sun began to set over the campus building. The sky was turning a lovely shade of red/orange as the moon started its trek over their night sky. it was just remarkable how the baku looked in the dying sun's beams, and how much of an impression it left in his mind. "Sun's going down, we've been out here for some time haven't we?" he offered cheerfully as the ghoul began to be swarmed with the attention seeking mini's that wanted more and more of her time. "next time I should visit the area around your dorm and say hello to your mini's." he blabbered out without thinking. "It could be like a cookout or something."

"I know so." She answered simply, grinning. Her gaze moved to the sky as Demi spoke, a small frown tugging at her lips. He was right--they had been here for a while, hadn't they? "Mm, I guess I should get going now then." She still had dinner to cook, after all, and Arashi was probably waiting for her to get back too.
Standing up, she offered out a hand to help Demi to his feet, grinning at the cookout suggestion. "I'd like that! Just come by sometime and we can figure something out, okay?" It sounded like a lot of fun, and she was always up for spending more time with friends! Especially when "spending time" involved cooking of any kind.
"Thank you for keeping me company," She chirped, reaching down to pet Regal and Tsar with both of her hands, "I'll see you later, okay?"

Guess not even the most perfect day could last forever. Damien let out a wistful sigh as the Baku went to her feet in the last beams of light and offered a hand up which he took gingerly. The dream was coming to an end. "No problem Xiu, whenever its good for you, its a... its a date." he blurted out sheepishly and could not dare to look into her eyes after blabbering on like a fool.
It was like his heart was marching at the most insanely fast beat, up and down the dorm pathways as the Baku said her goodbyes to the duo of canines that barked eagerly at her. "I'll see you later Xiu" he replied back and perked up. "Hey!" was the simple remark after a well placed silent pause and a warm smile that he couldn't keep off his face.
"I had fun."
There was always the chance for a dream to return another day right?
