"Mmm," mumbled Requiem in a noncommittal tone as he snuggled against Lycander, intent on staying with him as long as possible. His roommate felt warm and solid against him, something he could grasp onto and know for certain that he was still there, still alive, his heart still beating. And he loved the the scent of him; the spices, the cool, sweet vanilla that filled his nose, and Requiem made a small noise of protest when Lycander moved, leaning over to drop a cloth onto the spilled tea. He felt rather stupid, both for spilling the tea in the first place, and his seemingly clingy nature when it came to the boy he was sitting with, but the attack had made Requiem feel weak and uncertain of everything. He needed to know that Lycander was fine, that he wasn't going anywhere.
"...lots..?" Requiem said, then frowned a bit, biting his lower lip, tingles running up and down his arm at the touch of Lycander's fingers. "...I'm not...I mean..."
He paused, trying to figure out what he was saying. One of his hands reached up, pulling Lycander's free hand to his so he could link their fingers together tightly, looking up at his roommate with an almost worried expression.
"...I'm not replaceable, am I?" he asked quietly, feeling stupid for even asking. But the teacup...the blase remark about how many there were...it all felt like an involuntary comparison, one that Requiem had not intended to make. Except his brain worked in mysterious ways, always considering things, always trying to make them go one way instead of the other.
He could feel Lycander's gentle kiss to his head, the feel of his hand (which Requiem had let go of) resting against his legs. He inched himself closer - if that was even possible - until he was practically sitting in Lycander's lap, his face pushing against his roommate's neck, arms tightly around his waist.
"I'll watch it if you stay with me," Requiem mumbled, and before he could stop himself he leaned back, pressed a very quick kiss to Lycander's lips, then settled back with his head against his neck and shoulder before the movie had started. He was quite embarrassed by his forwardness, and so studiously stared at the screen.

Lycander nodded absently in response, unaware of any uneasy feelings that might have been triggered unintentionally in his friend. "Yessum. Lots. There are whole stores dedicated simply for teacups. Small specialty stores. We've probably passed one or two when down in the market." He glanced down at his hand when it was snatched, fingers linked tightly with his roommates. Tilting his head slightly, he met those golden eyes and a small frown formed. What was wrong? That expression on Requiem's face...what had caused it?
Hearing the question asked startled the redhead some. Why would he ask something like that? What had...was it the teacups? Shite! He was going to have to watch what he said for at least a couple days, wasn't he.
He sighed heavily and felt the smile return to his lips again. "No. There is nothing in the world that could ever replace you." Lycander spoke in that gently warm yet firm voice. The one that meant he was not playing and knew his words were true. "Relax, you silly Majin! We have a movie to watch. And sing along with. Or, at least I'll sing along and you can laugh at how terrible I sound." The redhead teased, not bothered (or really noticing for that matter) that Requiem was cuddled so closely to him. He was only aware of his friend's face pressed against his neck because of the warm yet cool breath that fell against his skin in rhythmic intervals.
"Right then. Dirty Dancing take two!" Lycander blinked at the quick pressing of lips to his before grinning and making himself comfortable against Requiem. Which really only entailed shifting his arm to accommodate the small movement Requiem had made before, getting closer to him.
Staring at the screen, the redhead still held a soft smile. Yes, he felt this could work. With patience, trust, and time. All of which he would gladly give to the Majin that he'd started to fall for.
