adabyron Are there any Norwegians in here? *poke* I'm part Norwegian! biggrin I don't know any of the language, though, besides like, "Jeg er Dave," and the pronouns, and "ikke" means not. neutral

Ah well. I have some questions about life in Norway, if anyone happens to have lived there. I don't speak Norwegian, but I can understand a bit. And I like lefse. whee

I've always had a subtle appreciation for Scandanavian culture, and mostly the historical Viking cultures, as well as the current democratic-socialism of most, if not all of the governments.
I wouln't have clustered Finland completely in Scandanavian culture, but it's easy to lump it with Scandanavia in geographical terms.

It is the opposite. I was saying I don't know enough about the culture. From what little I know I don't know enough to make a clear distinction of clustering, but lean towads and distinction because of a gut feeling only.

I was looking in Norwegian phrasebook/ordbog and found smørrebrød in the food section and it classified it as "open-garnished sandwiches"
