“Oh yes, being swallowed up is not fun at all, but at least you can get out. Not like being eaten by a bear. Though I’ve never been so I don’t really know if you can get out or not. I don’t think so though.” Merrill blustered on as she flew. At some point she started to veer to the left in her flight and then caught herself before it became to pronounced.
“Oh I know it was around her some where. I hadn’t been flying very long before you started to follow.” Merril passed over the branch Lyra had first by laying on.

Lyra chuckled, "No being swallowed up is definitely not a good thing." She smiled over at the other phim as they flew. But then she noticed that Merrill didn't seem t remember exactly where her den was, and that was endearing to the vixen. She was so hopeless that it was an attractive quality about her.
"Are you lost Merrill dear?" Lyra asked softly as she looked around. Honestly she had no idea what she was searching for, but it was better then flying there not knowing where to go.

“Lost? No, no, no.. well only a little.” As she flew Merrill spotted her den, at least she was pretty sure it was the entrance to her den. She circled around once before heading down. “Oh Lyra this way. I’m not lost anymore I have my den.” Merrill was feeling a sense of pride and joy in her little achievement. As she landed close to the entrance Merrill noticed two things. The first was a strange scent. She thought that was odd until she realized the second thing.. this wasn’t her den….
“Oopsy.” Merrill blushed.

Lyra chuckled, "So you were lost. I kinda had the feeling that you might be." Shaking her head as she laughed softly she landed behind the other vixen. There was a huge grin on her face as she approached the den. Honestly her curiosity was peaked on what all Merrill collected, however her happiness soon dwindled when she heard one little word. 'Oopsy'
"Merrill....huh." Lyra gulped, "Please tell me that this is your den." Though she was getting the sinking feeling by the look on the other vixen's face that this in fact was not her den. Which meant there might be a very angry fox in there that didn't like having them around.

Merrill looked at Lyra and couldn’t help as a nervous giggle escaped her. “Ah well you see.. I thought this was my den from the air, but it’s not.” She looked back at the den. It really was close in appearance to her den. That was a good thing in her mind. It meant when she went to find her den she would at least recognize it. She heard a noise echo out of the cave. Her ears stood straight up so she could pick up the sound better. The strange scent of an unkown fox tickled her nose causing her to sneeze. Her nose still twitching she looked at Lyra. “Do you suppose we should go or say hello?”
Anila moved forward in the cave she had taken up residence in a week ago. She yawned feeling a bit groggy from her nap.

Lyra looked at her slightly horrified, "You brought us to the wrong den?" She blinked, then laughed. "Well.....i don't know if it's wise to walk into a den that belongs to another. What if they take it as a threat and attack us?" Her eyes widened as she caught the scent of the fox on the air.
"Oh it appears that we won't have to go inside....I think that they are coming straight for us." She laughed nervously. "This should be an exciting adventure, eh?" Lyra smiled encouragingly at Merrill.

“Oh I’m so sorry!” Merrill looked at Lyra mortified with herself. She hadn’t really thought about them getting attacked. She looked from the cave to Lyra nervously. She didn’t want her friend getting attacked. Moving a bit Merrill placed herself in the path of the entrance of the cave. That way if something mean and nasty came out then she would be the first thing in its sight. She shivered nervously and tried very hard to keep her face from showing it.
Anila walked out of her den and blinked. In front of her was a vixen wearing some strange outfit. “ah um. H-ello.”

The phim giggled, "You don't have to be so sorry. I'm sure that everything is going to work out alright...at least I hope that it does." She giggled softly as she spotted the other vixen walk out of the entrance to the den. "Hello" The vixen chirped happily from behind Merrill. "It appears that we have gotten a mite lost and mistook this den or my friend's." She chuckled.
"I do hope that we haven't inconvenienced you in any way. We can be going right now. Very sorry about the misunderstanding Miss."

“Oh is that all?” Anila sighed in clear relief. “I’m sorry I know it’s not nice of me to be relieved, but well this isn’t really my home either. I’ve only been staying here for a short time while traveling and I was worried that maybe I had taken up residence in you den and well.” Anila shuffled and looked down. “I’m glad this is the wrong den. I would have felt so bad” Anila look at the two vixens and smiled still a bit unnerved by the stranger in the armor.
“OH MY! I’m sorry.” Merrill shifted in embarrassment and unintentionally unblocked Lyra from the blue phim’s view. “Here I was all worried that you would be a big scary fox or mean and your really really nice. I’m sorry I misjudged you.”

Looking between the two vixens, Lyra couldn't help but giggle softly. The two were quite the pair, apologizing and getting upset over nothing. There was definitely something comical in watching it. "Well it is nice to know that it was all just a minor oversight. And nobody was hurt or offended so...I believe Merill and I shall bid you ado." The phim gracefully bowed her head with a smile, then turned to her friend.
"Do you believe that you can find the location of your den from here Merrill? Or perhaps this vixen can help give us some direction. DO you perhaps know the area here at all?" She looked at the purple phim, smiling softly.

Merrill looked at Lyra and then stepped back so she could move next to her friend. Oh Lyra was just perfect she knew how to make the situation seem much less scary and nerve wracking. She smiled and let her wings relax enough so that they brushed Lyra. She wanted to hug her, but worried her armor might get in the way and hurt her. She tried to remember the layout of the area. “Oh I think I’ve seen this place from the air. I think my den is over that way! ” She pointed or to the right of where they were all sitting. She was 98.3% sure it was in that direction.. ish.
Anila nodded to Lyra and only shrugged. It seemed the other phim had a sense of where she was going. “I ah wish you two luck.” She smiled and waved at them. She stretched her wings and then yawned. She was going to go take a nap and then see if she couldn’t keep flying to the Yukon gang so go see her daughter.

She giggled, "Apparently my friend has remembered where we are...or were....or whatever....I am not making much sense." Lyra giggled, "But sorry for the intrusion, and we shall be going now. Hopefully to my friend's den." She looked over at Merrill and smiled, "Are you sure that you know the way now?" She teased lightly as she nudged the vixen.
"Come on...I am even more curious to see this den of yours now."

“Yes yes. We’re sorry for bugging you…” What was that blue girl’s name again? Oh well Merrill tried to focus more on where she was sure her den was. She glanced at Lyra a bit distracted trying to remember exactly where her den was. “Well mostly. Still if we get lost as long as we aren’t in trouble it’s an adventure right?” She smiled at her friend. That was how she looked at the situation. She started trotting off after a dozen paces she realized she should have taken off and looked down and that would have made it easier since that was how she knew the layout of the land. “ummm…. Lrya?”
Anila smiled as the strange lost but not lost phim started trotting off before she slipped back into the cave figuring herself excused. She needed that nap.

"Yes it will certainly be an adventure Merill." Lyra giggled as she shook her head. Nothing would ever be dull as long as she stayed with her new friend. And surprisingly that was an appealing quality to her. "Hm?" The vixen looked over at the armored phim, "What is it precious?" She cocked her head as she offered the vixen a warm smile.

Her ears flicked at the word precious. Did Lyra mean her? That seemed impossible. Merrill had never been precious to anyone. Maybe Lyra had ment something else like.. person, or something. Merrill was so focused on her mystery that she almost walked into a shrug. “oh.” She stopped suddenly and took a quick two step back. “Well um.. what was I going to ask again?” Her face grimaced as she though. “Right right. Did you want to walk the rest of the way to the den or do you want to fly Lyra?”
