Jane bounced along the sand, letting her mind wonder a little as she searched. If she had been able to bring her runner with her this would go much faster. But she hadn't been able to, thankfully though the beast was being cared for.

So far she hadn't seen any signs of a flit clutch but she had seen a fair number of people scouring the beach..it was only a matter of time before they were all found

Wykla felt her breath catch in her throat. She thought she'd found the nest, until she got closer. She realized as she approached that it was just the way the sand had rippld.

Still no luck. She sighed and took a sip from her water skin, one would think after spending nearly eight turns in Keroon she'd be used to heat. But even though it wasn't nearly as hot here as it was there, but she still needed to drink a lot of water. She then continued her search for the invaluable eggs.

Orlina smiled and waved back when Mercy noticed her and increased her pace to catch up. "I hope you don't mind me following you. I know you don't know exactly where the Clutch is, but I thought your Aerith might tip you off if you were close to it."
Orlina was in this for the chase more than the prize, but that was all right. If she did get the prize, she'd just think the day was even more fun. It was too bad she hadn't been around anyone she knew when she heard about it. They could have come with her.

She considered asking the flits to help her scout, but they seemed intent on staying with her. It was probably better that way. Wykla thought they might get distracted by all the people on the beach. Finished with that section of beach she shook her head. "Their not over here Boreal."

Janeallia looked around the beach seeing others, but she didnt care what those behind her were doing, she'd already searched there, she needed to focus on what was ahead. That was what was important.

Mud got bored easily and decided that he was just going to go back to zeren's bunk to sleep since he was a very lazy brown. Grym was getting fidgety and nasty with the two greens and zeren was forced to send him back too but the greens were having none of that and bickered, both trying to get zeren to the nest first

Mercy paused slightly to let the younger girl catch up and then started off walking again while Sunny chirped a happy welcome to their company from her shoulder. "Of course I don't mind - Aerith has a bit of a soft spot for Flits, she won't be happy until they're all found and safe" Mercy confessed to the other girl.
"I'm afraid I don't know your name, but I"m Mercy..and this is Sunny" She introduced herself and the gold flit on her shoulder.

Still humming Jane saw flits flying around here and there, she figured that others who already had one would still look for more, and getting as much help as possible seemed smart. But she didn't have a flit or friends yet, so she was stuck by herself for now.

So intent on searching Wykla nearly got her feet washed by an incoming wave. She jumped back in disgust. Fescues chittered scoldingly as she nearly unbalanced off her perch. Clearly the clutch wouldn't be this close to the water.

Jane returned her thoughts to her search instead of the others. If they beat her too it then good for them. What was important was that the little ones were safe, she was sure there were many critters just waiting to eat those eggs.

Zeren was getting angry with the greens, both were as bad as each other and they just seemed to set each other off and he was forced to call them to land. They settled on each of his shoulders, curling their tails under his chin and rubbing their heads against his cheeks and he sighed, he couldn't be angry at them for long and Viska WAS better than she used to be, though it didn't stop her from trying to flirt with every male flit that happened to be nearby, no matter what the color, except she ignored Blacks and Silvers. He dug around a bit trying to unearth an egg or two hopefully
