It was nice to see Christof listen to her but the gryphon was now at a loss of what else to say. So she stood there for a moment and stared at the two boils a little like a deer in the head lights. It had only been a few seconds but it felt much longer to Tahki for some reason.

".. Sooooooo...." The gryphon eyed Charlie. He must have done something to really upset the patchwork. Charlie was known for pissing the wrong people off.

The demon was released and fell to the ground with a dull thud. He didn't move from the spot, just watched Christof and Tahki keeping his mouth shut tight. That was until Tahki opened up her own mouth with a very stalling so.

"Soooo, my white knight has appeared to save the day?" There was a hopefulness in the demons tone.

"N-not really. Sorry Charlie. I actually was on my way to the library.... Uh... I saw the smoke. " She turned her attention to Christof, "Is everything okay? " The meekness and smallness in her voice steadily left as she got her courage worked up a little more.

The memory of the hunchback limping through the snow so long ago was what really clung to Tahki when she thought about Christof. Even though he'd pulled on her ears, the gryphon still felt bad for him.
