Vany'n eyes blinked slowly, a sad look on her face. Her eyes closed as her head shook, feather swaying in time with the motion.
She said to him

Her eyes opened again, looing to tyke
PostPosted: Mon Sep 26, 2011 7:04 am

An ear tilted to the side as Tyke listened to Vahy'n. ""

Tyke's knowledge about everything was very limited and based on trust of his "pack". This was just how it was, and Tyke had never really questioned it.

Eventually Asch emerged from the bathroom, dressed for bed in a pair of shorts and drying his hair with a towel. He walked past the pair of Pokemon, with Tyke's eyes following him. The boy then picked up Saber's Pokeball that he'd left on the dresser earlier and released the Pokemon from his confines.

The Zoroark appeared and shook out his mane, glancing at Asch and then down at the two smaller Pokemon. He growled lowly towards the little Zorua and then moved to a corner where a large pillow and some blankets were located. Tyke barked back and then looked to Vahy'n. "" The Zorua offering the Vaporeon a sad little smile. He didn't know what to do to make Vahy'n feel better, but he was doing everything he could.

As Asch sat on his bed, he grimaced and put a hand on his shoulder, which was wrapped in bandages. He kept his eye on the Pokemon, studying Vahy'n quietly. Despite her quiet and subdued mood, it was obvious that she was unhappy and that was unlikely to change. However, he didn't wish to keep Vahy'n locked up in her ball if he could help it.

She said nothing more, sad eyes watching Tyke.
He had a lot of faith in his trainer, he had optimism and love, much like Rosie had. And like Rosie, there was so much naivety, He didn't understand, he didn't know what this organization did to people.
She felt sad for the day he realizes the truth.

The door to the bathroom opened, and Asch came back in.
Vany'n looked away from the Zorua, watching the human closely, not looking away even as he looked at her.

She did not accept Tyke's invite to sleep with them, in a small pile of blankets. She instead retreated toward the desk, where she slipped under, and laid down, half hiding herself, away from them.

Tyke was rather naive, and perhaps even a little sheltered. While the youngest in their "pack" was rather ignorant, the other two were not. As Tyke curled up with Saber, the Zoroark watched the Vaporeon quietly. There was no inkling of the hostility that the larger Pokemon had shown before. Tyke was a little disappointed and worried about Vahy'n, and it showed in his eyes as he peered over his brother's arm.

Eventually the two Pokemon settled down and fell asleep, after Vahy'n had taken up her spot under the desk. Asch thought, watched Vahy'n for a few moments longer before reading a book. About a half hour later, the lights went out and both Asch and his Pokemon were sleeping soundly. At first anyway.

Later into the night, Asch started stirring restlessly. This being enough sound to get Saber's attention. There was the sound of movement as the Zoroark lifted his head and then sat up, careful not to awake Tyke.

Vany'n head remained up for the entire time that the lights were on, though she wasn't looking at anyone in particular.

Even as the lights went out, the Vaporeon didn't get to have much in the way of sleep.
Though her head was bow, under one of her legs. Still, her eyes did not close.
Her lids might have fallen, but she knew there was no way she would be able to sleep tonight. She was to worried for that, to worried for Rosie, worried for herself... how was she going to get out of here? where was "here" even? There were no windows, so it make finding out very difficult.

The night seemed to last forever, as Vany'n laid awake through the hours.
Something started happening though after several hours. movement from the human's bed.
The light rattling of Vany'n jewelry jingled from under the desk as she lifted her head, eyes fully open as she looked through the darkness to the bed.

There was a groan from the human's bed as Asch again stirred a little, and this prompted Saber to actually rise from the corner in which he and Tyke had been sleeping. Being a dark tyke, Saber could see well in little light. The only light in the room coming from what filtered under the door from the hallway. Moving over to the side of the bed, Saber watched his master for a few moments, making sure he was all right.

However, the jingle from Vahy'n's jewelry and the glint of her eyes, got Saber's noticed and he turned his gaze in her direction for just a moment.

"" The Zoroark said softly, keeping his voice low so as not to disturb either Tyke or his master.

Her head dipped lightly, the light pricks glowing of bio-luminescent from the speckles over her face and body showing the movement clearly in the dark, though it wasn't as if the dark type would need that to be able to see through the darkness toward her.

He was speaking to her, as she saw his eyes turned toward her.
She did not say anything at first, just blinked once.

"" Saber said back easily. In fact, he knew that if he had been in Vahy'n's place, he would be trying to kill his captor in his sleep. Separation from his pack was unacceptable, and that bond was much deeper than any normal one between Pokemon and trainer. They were family, they even shared the same blood in a sense.

Saber's attention returned to Asch as he continued to toss and turn. The boy's brows furrowed and his jaw clenched.

Murder was never something Vany'n would consider, at least not lightly. Even if she could get away from Asch, the trick would be getting out of wherever this place was, no doubt with other Rockets, and find her way home.

No... she had to play it differently, she would cooperate, for now.

As his reply, Vany'n bright eyes turned away from the dark type a deep frown on her face as she lowered her head back onto her paws.

Well, they were two very different Pokemon. If Saber really wanted to escape from somewhere, his illusion ability would be very useful. Plus he was a big Pokemon and could kill a human much easier than Vahy'n could. Loyalty to his pack came above all else.

Saber watched Vahy'n silently for a few moments, with a stare not unlike Asch's own. However, he looked away when his master stirred again. It seemed to be getting neither better nor worse, so Saber let him be. This was becoming more frequent lately. The Zoroark then laid himself down next to Asch's bed and curled up there. Ready should his master have need of him.
