Rehnard sighed, this girl was really adamant on staying in the snow."Well least you know they are out there somewhere right?"He didnt know what to say He never knew his real family being born alone, without His parents Only that black cat who brought him to Rave. However that seemed like the fates will for them to both help one another.

“I hope so, but I have come to the conclusion I’ll probably never see them again. So I just decided to live my life as best I can, after all that’s about all I can do” Mai admitted brushing a rebellious strand of hair out of her face. She smiled warmly and then lightly chuckled at the reaction her family would have if they ever met Rehn.

Rehn sighed."Its better if you devote it to making others lives better, then life will truely be fulfilling." Thats what Rehn tried to do. He worked to keep those he met from sadness. maybe Mai could be one of them."So have you ever met anyone that you plan on seeing again?"

Mai laughed a bit as she smiled over towards Rehn. “I do admit that helping others the best you can is a very nice plan and I try to help who ever needs my help but its not just helping people that makes life fulfilling. To each fox its something different and its part of life’s journey” She pointed out and then tilted her head to the side. “well I try and meet foxes with the intention that we will meet again but I know some times life leads us down different paths.” She tried to explain.

Rehnard sighed."to help people is lifes journey you help as many people in an area and gain from the experience then move on to the next area and do the same maybe you'll run into a challenge along the way, or something that pushes you to become stronger, But honestly thats what lifes about until you find your purpose in the world its just a scramble to find the proof to ones existence" He smirked and looked back at her."In fact thats my primary goal, to find proof that this is real, that my life will mean something to someone down the line, I wanna find the solid proof that Im alive..."

Mai chuckled but kept silent for the most part. She always believed that foxes should have their own beliefs. She had her way of living what she thought was a fulfilling life and believed it was different for each fox. Rehnard was definitely a type of fox with his own beliefs. Who was she to sit here and try to persuade him differently? Besides if she could avoid it Mai tended to steer away from arguments. They just drained her. “Well as long as someone somewhere knows you exist then you lived and are still alive, or at least that’s what I was taught. So by helping me it’s another step because another fox knows you exist. Although I find it really admirable that you want to help other foxes, there are enough of us out there that wouldn’t even lift a paw”

Rehnard sighed, if only thatwere enough for him."hey go ahead and get some rest, Im exausted so I'll get you moving in a bit after I get some sleep. Is that alright?" he asked curling up on the floor. she was going to the other side of the arctic out of the cold, at least he thought she was. and the sooner she was out the less he'de have to worry about an attachment.

Well no matter what, it wasn’t polite to impose on your host so she was fine if he needed to get some sleep. “I’m fine with that, after all I’m the one that’s imposing on you” mai replied curling up on her own spot. Besides even if she wasn’t too sleepy at the moment lying down and just thinking about future plans was always a good idea as well. “take all the time to sleep you need” she nodded.

Rehnard nodded and curled up closing his eyes hwever keeping alert for any stirring from hisguest that may mean discomfort or an issue. before long though sleep took over, and he started to wiggle to the closest warm body he could find, which in thi case was Mai, he allowed his tail to wrap around her and he rested his head on whatever body part was closest.

Mai was brought out of her thoughts by sudden warmth next to her. She was a bit surprised so she looked over, only to see Renhard have moved closer to her. It caused a small little blush before she figured it was probably for warmth. After a few minutes she got used to it. She didn’t shove him off because what if he really needed the sleep. She wasn’t too happy when her sleep time was stolen, and she wasn’t that uncomfortable. Mai didn’t really have a really big personal space.

Rhnard was actually sleeping well, he was laying on soft fur that had a nice smell.
-Ok doin a timeskip so we dont have a few pages of sleeping-
Rehnard woke up and looked down wondering wat the smell was. He saw mai and blinked, backing up his face reddening. 'H-hey....Mai, you up?"he stuttered trying to look away from her....why was he like this? He normally wouldnt give a care about women like this But here he was getting nervous and anxious around her."I wanted to get going wen your ready."he said returning to his normal tone.

Mai really hadnt fallen asleep but that was okay. She had gotten a good rest the night before. After all when you where used to living on your own when some one was sleeping next to you it tended to wake up way more easier. She supposed that the same could be said about the opposite as well. She smiled guessing Renhard wasn’t used to sleeping next to foxes as well, because after all he was a bit red. “Yep I’m up” she replied. “well leave when ever, I’m always ready to go” she nodded.

Rehnard stood up and stretched."alright lets get going then..." he walked outside and felt a couple flakes fall on his nose. "Hey snow..." he looked to the female raising an eyebrow."lets get moving in case it starts coming down harder."If the snow got rough things would be bad, and it would bedifficult to navigate.

Mai nodded and began following him. She had dealt with snow before and knew a blizzard was not something she wanted to be in the middle of. Considering this was the highest she had ben elevation wise for a while she figured it was probably even worse. She looked up at the sky and sometimes wondered if she should have been a shaman instead. After all they could sometimes read the weather. Then again she supposed she liked hanging around children way too much.
