((Yeah, Vava's emotional sense kinda overwhelms his physical sight at this stage. So he sees people as big glowy blobs of emotion, kinda. Loki just melted into the sense he was getting from the tree, so he's having trouble telling the tree from Loki. sweatdrop ))
His ears perked up as he heard Loki's voice, though it sounded kind of... strange! Where was the familiar cant it usually had to it? Vavalion looked around worriedly before peering hard at the tree, trying to sort out the calm waves of emotion and only getting himself more mentally tangled.
"'Kee...?" he half-echoed Pae, starting to crawl towards the tree. He had to make sure the tree hadn't eaten Loki, after all! That would be bad!

Linneas was obviously surprised at Loki's invitation. He detected no trace of the brat that had greeted him and his sister, but he decided to give the young Legend the benefit of the doubt and approached the large tree. Perhaps it was because he was not like them that the calming effect was not as powerful, but Linneas still did sense a soothing sensation in the proximity of the tree.
Paestri blinked and crawled after Vavalion, "Lo'ee der!" she declared, gesturing where the hyena Legend stood near her brother.

"N'see!" Vava explained, putting his hands out and feeling around the tree as he reached it. Soon he found Loki's pant leg, and upon recognizing it, immediately executed a grade-A full-body cling. "'Kee!"

Blinking, Loki seemed to think for a long moment as his gaze slowly shifted to the young snake Legend on the ground. Then, he reached down and picked Vavalion up, before hugging him. It was an almost brotherly hug.
"I feel so content..."

Linneas smiled and sat down on the grass in the shade of the tree. He noticed Paestri crawling towards them and chuckled in amusement at Vavalion clinging to Loki's leg. He wondered -off handedly- who Paestri would choose to cling to.
Paestri eventually caught up to the two Legends and paused mid-crawl. She liked the feeling of calm washing over her, and decided that when she was older, she would look for someone who had this taste and keep him or her with her forever! She cocked her head to the side and giggled, moving towards the Legends and hugging them briefly before crawling to Linneas.
"Leenee!" she squealed, throwing her arms around her brother.

Startled slightly by the sudden show of affection, Vava gave Loki a briefly confused look. This was really the same Loki who always grumbled and acted annoyed when he'd clung to him before?
He had to make absolutely sure, he decided. Reaching up, Vava's questing hands found familiar fuzzy ears and a few strands of hair.
YANK.

Wincing, Loki became slightly annoyed - that HURT, dammit! - but it soon was leeched away, and he let out a sigh.
"You can stop pulling, now." He was quite a sight, head tilted so the pain would lessen, but his eyes were calm.
He should really visit this tree more often.

Paestri giggled in delight as she felt her brother lift her into the air. Softly, she cooed and snuggled up to him, enjoying the sense of tranquility the large tree's presence gave her.
Linneas smiled as he gathered his sister into his arms and stood up. He let out an amused chuckle as he watched Vavalion continue to assure himself that Loki was there.

Vava's mouth formed into a little "o" of surprise as Loki failed to yell or curse at him. No way! This had to be impossible, right? In his little mind, it could only mean one thing...
Loki had finally learned how to BE NICE!
Burbling in glee, Vavalion stopped tugging at the elder Legend's ears and cuddled into his arms instead, looking happier than ever.

Paestri giggled and began to mimic Vavalion, only she was yanking at Linneas' chin, since her brother lacked the pointy ears.
Linneas blinked as his sister tugged at his chin, "I don't suppose either of you will mind if we leave now?" he asks, he felt like they were intruding on Loki and Vavalion.

Loki, not really hearing, shook his head, and instead stared back at the tree, leaning back just slightly.
The hyena boy didn't really want to leave, but... Vavalion had to go home at some point. A sigh escaped his lips.
