Hiei caught Yoko coming at him from the corner of his eye and moved to block the Phim's attack. However, the sneaky fox pulled a move that surprised the Deava. Hiei ended up flat on his back, blinking up at the Phim in surprised aprehention; his cloak bunched under him and his sword lost.
The Deava didn't like the smirk that the Phim had on his face. He sensed a danger to himself that had very little to do with blood and death, and it was confusing the poor Deava to no end. Recovering, Hiei lowered his brows and glared up at the Phim. "Hn."

To say he was pleased with the outcome would be an understatement. Now finally the sword was out of reach and Yoko was in a position where it was extremely hard to dislodge him. He could tell that his prey was uncomfortable with the position but, the daeva had brought it upon himself after all he had doubted Yoko’s identity and stole his ruby.
Rich almost sadistic laughter managed to escape out of Yoko’s throat before he leaned down and changed up the smirk on his face a bit. Yes he still had to convince his prey he was yoko. “Hmm and now I’m going to give you that proof you need.” He didn’t even bother to keep the tone out of his voice.

Hiei's ears pinned back against his head, an unconcious move to make himself smaller, not that it would help at this moment in time. He was good and caught and nothing was going to get him free unless the Phim over him decided to let him up.
His heart was not fluttering a mile a minute in fear. It was not fluttering a mile a minute for any other reason either. And there definitely was not a tiny voice in the back of his head saying 'oooh...pretty laugh'. A second voice wasn't going 'I'm so screwed' and sounding both terrified and happy about that at the same time either. "Hah. There's no proof you can give me that will make me believe that." And his mouth definitely did not just say that out loud.

Another laugh escaped from Yoko’s throat before he seized Hiei up again…This was going to be way more fun then it had any right to be. “Oh let see if you can say that tomorrow firefly” he taunted. Now how to serve up his prize?
(time skip XD) Yoko yawned and opened his eyes. He felt absolutely wonderful. It was the first day in months Yoko didn’t feel bored, mopey nor had a general dislike of life. Today he wanted to steal something dangerous and extremely shiny; like the ruby he had managed to get off his little butterfly. Speaking of the poor daeava, He looked over at his prey and smirked. The night before had probably been very different from what the daeva was used to and had tired the poor firefly out, not that Yoko blamed him. Still it was more satisfying than Yoko wanted to think about as he watched him sleep.

Something was very, very wrong. Hiei felt very relaxed...Hiei never felt relaxed. And he shouldn't feel so relaxed when the scent of that Phim was everywhere: in the air, on his cloak...on him. Snapping his eyes open, the Deava rolled over to get his paws under him and winced. He was sore in places he didn't even know existed.
Growling lowly, he shot his eyes around the area until they finally fell on Yoko. "Why did you...How...." he grumbled. He did want to know why, after all the Deava was nothing special.

Ah his favorite part, watching them wake up and realize what exactly is going on. Yoko hid a smirk and watched as Hiei woke up and realized just what was going on. Well he did warn the daeva. ‘Hmmm you think it was if he had never been bested by a phim. You should never underestimate a species that normally seems fluffy’ he chuckled to himself.
“Well its it obvious. I can do what ever I set my mind too. I’m Yoko Kurama” He taunted and then decided it was high time he went and stole that next shiny thing. Oh and checked the rest of his caves. Couldn’t have any more foolish thieves snooping around. “see you later firefly”

That Phim was laughing at him? Hiei growled again, though it was muted. He was in no shape to fight Yoko in this condition. He wasn't in much shape to fight anything in this condition. He watched the Phim start to walk off and his gaze fell on his cloak...more specifically, a lump that was suspiciously missing from it.
"Hey!" He snarled, setting up. Pain hit him, but the Deava worked through it. He put his cloak back on and trotted after the Phim. Pain was poking at his lower back, but this was far more important. "Give me back the ruby, Fox."

Ugh, couldn’t the daeva just admit defeat and let yoko walked off. Apparently the modeities weren’t exactly on his side. He stopped briefly and watches as the daeva got up. He was pretty sure you shouldn’t move for a while but Firefly was apparently more stubborn than he thought. “What?” Yoko rolled his eyes. “You know you shouldn’t really be moving around, you could seriously injure something.”
“Oh the ruby… did I say it was my ruby. Why should I hand over my ruby? Besides I stole it back fair and square. Now seriously sit down” Yoko stated beginning to walk again. The Daeva’s speed should be compromised and Yoko could always fight him again.

"My injuries are none of your concern, Fox." Hiei huffed at the Phim. Yoko was right though, he did steal the ruby and Hiei was injured. There was no way the Deava was going to fight for it, and he definitely wouldn't win. He thought about it and came to a rather startling conclusion.
"Fine keep the ruby. I found something far more interesting and valuable in your cave anyway." He stated, continueing to follow the Phim. And he had. He wondered if the Phim would bite.
*I just remembered Yoko still doens't know Hiei's name...perhaps he should get the name of the deave he...er...fought the night before?

“Crap I liked that cave” Yoko stated and shook his head. He would have to move everything out and find a new hiding place. Considering this stubborn streak this daeva seemed to have he would either have to move his things or …. A weird thought struck the phim. ‘Wait what valuable thing in the cave.’ He thought. He was pretty sure the daeva had fixated on the ruby.
“Why are you still following me?” Yoko stated about to call him firefly again. Come to think of it Yoko had been saying his name and trying to prove it this whole time. He didn’t think he had ever heard Firefly say his name. “whats your name?” Yoko asked. It was a bit late but….

"Why? I found one of the rarest artifacts I've ever heard of. The Yoko Kurama who is supposed to be dead. A one of a kind piece. Exactly how can I pass that up?" Hiei asked, smirking at the Phim. He started to swish his tail smugly, but quickly ceased that motion.
He wanted to know Hiei's name? The Deava shrugged. "Hiei." He mumbled, still following the Phim. Like he said, he wasn't about to let his new prize out of his sight.

Yoko practically froze and slowly turned around. “W-what?” was the bright thing he managed to say. Well he had convinced the other he was yoko kurama but it was looking like it had backfired on him. “I’m not an artifact” was what he finally said eyes narrowing. “and if you think I can be owned… I’d just like to see you try” no that wasn’t what he wanted to say at all.
Why was he getting turned into something to be stolen? Shouldn’t Hiei be more interested in something in his cave. “Hmmm I think I like firefly better” he smirked and noticed Hiei was still following him. Oh he was in trouble.

"I didn't say I was going to 'own' you, though that has quite a bit of appeal. I said I wasn't going to pass up the opportunity that finding you presented." Hiei smiled smugly, knowing he had knocked the Phim off balance, at least for a little while. "You're supposed to be the best thief ever. I'm not too bad, my last heist shall be ignored since I was stealing from a Yoko that wasn't quite as dead as promised."
Hiei had nothing to say about the 'firefly' thing. 'Hiei' wasn't much of a name, so it didn't hurt his feelings or anything. Besides, he'd never had a nickname before. So long as Yoko didn't use it in a derogatory way, Hiei would tolerate it.

Yoko ignored the sudden urge to twitch, if Hiei didn’t want to own him then why was Hiei treating him like an artifact. In fact how had the whole situation turned into his “mmm” was his response only it was accompanied by a slight growl. “Well sorry for not being dead. Pfft like any thing could kill me off” the last part was more a mumble to himself. Seriously other than extremely old age offing him one should always expect the phim to be around.
“Well if your going to follow me might as well get up here. Any thief hates having foxes walking behind them. You never know what is running through their head” Yoko stated stopping and waiting for Hiei to catch up. “I think I’m in need of a hot springs” no he wanted to go steal something but Hiei needed it, it would help with the muscles yoko himself helped make sore.

"Oh, no. Don't be sorry. If you weren't alive, I wouldn't be able to ste...follow you around until you agree to be my partner. Or agree for me to be your partner." Hiei shrugged. It amounted to the same thing, really. Some foxes didn't like being called 'partner' though, they wanted to think they were in control.
Hiei raised an eyebrow and trotted up so that he was side by side with Yoko. He was rather grateful that they were going to a hot springs, though he had a niggling suspicion that Yoko was doing it for his benefit. The Deava couldn't figure out why the Phim would do anything for him though...not this quickly. Shrugging, Hiei figured he had an ulterior motive.
