Visited any prisoners lately? Comforted the sick? Clothed the needy? Or are you just saying that you're Christian? See, we can play this game with anybody. The fact of the matter is that at a certain point, you have to take people at their word. I'm willing to take you at your word, I don't see why you can't take Rowling at hers.

And many people have responded to that post, suggesting that your claims are a) untrue to the books, and b) not conclusive regarding HP's connections with witchcraft. You've failed to provide any proof or back up for your claims. In other words: She's not writing about witchcraft. Edit: This was your "proof" on the subject. "I found headlines and newspaper articles saying that satanic sects (such as wicca) are fighting to keep harry potter in public schools, if it has nothing to do with actual witchcraft then why would people that practice witchcraft fight so hard to keep these books in public and private schools?" A statement that had nothing to do with the nature of the books whatsoever.

Could you find me the passage in the bible that says that you're prohibited from writing about witchcraft? Last I checked, you're just not supposed to actually practice it. Never mind that you haven't proven any real connection between Harry Potter and witchcraft other than certain shared iconography.

For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." It changes the meaning, you know. When one is under the (untreated) influence of such a (potentially) crippling mental disorder, then they simply cannot make a commitment to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. If they don't have schizophrenia and are still unable to discern self-admitted fiction from reality, then they are obviously idiots and are in need of a severe smack up-side the head.

I have a post on page two....The bible dosnt say stay away from one type of witchcraft because its real, but not another because its fiction, it dosnt say stay away from real witches and wizards because they sin but its ok to look at the fake ones that ride broom sticks and use cauldrons....It says the acts of the sinful nature are clear

The Bible says it in (I THINK) Ex. 22 "Thou shalt not permit a witch or sorcerer to live". So, I'm sitting here lmao because I'm not even very well versed in the scripture and Im "up against" a few theologians. Any way, ya, and don't pull the "it wasn't literal" or "that was in the old testament" bull because it doesn't work.

The Bible doesn't even mention fictional witchcraft. Because it's not worth mentioning.

Ok sorry I quote it in context, but it just means that because you are calling someone an idiot because what they may stumble with, you will be judged by God in the same manner.
