Rather: Kallichore tried to make a beeline towards the escape route as quickly as she could. The problem was that, while Ilmenite might have been skinny, he was still a good buck twenty -- and when he dug his heels in, that was a bulky load to haul along behind her. Instead of joining the senshi in running, he gave in and lifted his head, finally, tugging back on the girl's arm and cursing the bulk of added layers over his uniform.

This would have been much more comfortable without all that s**t, and he was starting to wonder if it had even really been necessary, or if dangling Zink out like bait would have been enough on its own.

He ground his teeth, stumbling a few steps after the girl, pitting his strength against hers to draw them to a halt. Super versus Captain: A fairly close battle, except for the girl on his other side. If not for Sirius, he might have been able to shake her off. As it was, they were able to drag him along, whether he wanted it or not. "Not going anywhere with you, thanks! Back off!"

"You're assuming, Zinkenite!" No, Gunn thought of Ares; hopefully they'd underestimate the Blood Moon force when Ares and Scylla didn't show up, and give the other Blood Moon senshi a chance to escape. Surely their leader wouldn't be gone too long, and when she returned Gunn would apologize for what she'd done. This mission was a disaster, and Gunn regretted agreeing to support it. They didn't have the force to defeat a General and who knew how many Captains. Sirius was gone, and that was good; it meant the others would be pulling back soon. Stupid of Zinkenite to tip his hand just for the sake of witty banter. There was no hand for Gunn to tip, not if they already faced mission failure. Outnumbering the General they were trying to kidnap was, after all… mission critical.

The only one she didn't want to escape was, somewhat horribly for Gunn, the very one who had planned this doomed mission. Birhan… that traitor.

Gunn followed through with her strike, heels scraping the ground loudly and guiding her shin right into Zinkenite's boot. At least the damn Captain seemed to be staying out of it; there wasn't a single strike from behind, not yet. The redheaded Super stepped gingerly when it came to the leg that Zinkenite had hit, but she had no qualms about doing combat "right" or honorably. Kicking an opponent when he was down did just as much, if not more, damage than when he was up. The second she started to attack the diminutive General again, she knew it was a mistake. The pain in her leg below the knee, the way her ankle refused to bend properly… Gunn went down, hard, on one hip.

Something was wrong with her shin, all right, a bruise was already spreading. ******** pathetic, what the hell?

s**t.

Ilmenite.

He could see the two senshi and the captain from his hiding place. They were trying to take him away, and of course he struggled, but two versus one ?

Zinkenite was busy, Wolframite was busy, Dahlia had made her attempt... That pretty much left him, the broken rib wonder. Where was Hel ?

s**t.

He couldn't use his power on Ilmenite, or they'd suspect something. He couldn't dare use his super attack - what if they needed a more hasty retreat later ? What if there were woundeds ?

If he used his normal attack on himself and was just too late, the two supers would hand him his a**.

But... There was no way in hell Alunite would let an agent fall prey to them. Not if he could help it.

s**t, s**t, s**t.

He waited just a little longer, for the pair to have passed him. "Umbra Eclipse."

One, two, three, four... There.

He set out behind the two, gesturing the captain to keep quiet when he looked in his direction. Maybe with both their strengths, they'd be able to overhelm the two senshi.

Unfortunately, there wasn't time for anything too complicated. He was already taking risks of being heard, moving as quickly as he was, but he made it to Ilmenite at three seconds.

At five, he'd caught on his shoulder and tried to help him break free.

((Sailor Scout Attack: Umbra Eclipse !
Alunite calls out his attack, then spreads his arms outward. For 5 seconds, nothing happens. But then, just like the moon hiding the sun, Alunite then proceeds to make either himself or an ally invisible to anyone radiating positive energy. This does not make them invisible to other corrupted beings, or to civilians. This also doesn't mask the target's power signature - only makes it hard to pinpoint exactly. The attack also doesn't cancel out any noise they make. This effects lasts for 10 seconds before it fades. The attack can be canceled if Alunite is interrupted or distracted while channeling.

For ref. He's still got 5 secs which will probably cover your posts, so he'll become visible again at the start of mine. If he fail, feel free to play with him a bit. XD Like, knock him out of the way or something. With his broken rib he'll be easysauce to take care of.))

"No Gunn..." He assured her, rolling to try and pin her down, one of many to come he hoped. "I don't...assume. I mislead..." He offered her a cheshire grin. "A little truth makes a believable lie...whatever conclusions you and yours have jumped to...well, it seems YOU leaped without a parachute."

He didn't take his eyes off her as he fired instructions at Fayalite. "When I'm done here...take her to Wolframite... I'm looking for their -leader-... It won't be her."

He gripped a handful of her hair, half smothering her face in sleeve for as large as it was as he lifted her head, momentarily free of the hard roof top before slamming it down again, not perhaps as hard as he could have, little enough risk of dying of it unless she tottered her way and tipped head first through what remained of the skylight, but she'd be escorted in any case.

"I think... he'll very much like to see her."

She had a moment where she thought she could probably break free from his pin; five feet and nine inches of muscled senshi should have been enough to buck the midget off of her, but whatever his kick had done to the bones of her leg it wasn't good. She couldn't bend her ankle enough to put any sort of pressure on it, which put her completely at Zinkenite's mercy. "Sorry," she said, orange brows lofting a little at the grin he offered. Scary? Not so much, if she died they'd leave Kreszant alone. "Leaping without looking is sort of what I do, midget." Sassing the man who could pulp her head on the roof, not such a good idea. Especially since Zinkenite's idea of mercy apparently comprised of slamming her head into the hard concrete of the rooftop, leaving Gunn dazed… but not quite enough for her to miss the words Zinkenite spoke.

They still didn't know of Ares's absence. At least whoever had betrayed them hadn't told them of what had happened to the Blood Moon Queen. If they kept waiting for Ares to arrive, then… maybe they'd hold back until it was too late. She just had to hope that they were retreating.

She had certainly been expecting resistance, after all what idiot didn't instinctively lash out when met with pain. The strength of human versus cat, especially a super powered one made the task of kicking Dahlia away an easy enough one for Kallichore. Her claws just hadn't gotten a good enough grip yet.

The cat managed to land with at least an ounce of grace however, balancing herself with her long tail until suddenly.. something was chucked at her?

What the hell!?

She hopped to the side, barely missing being hit by the bit of debris Sirius had thrown. Her back arched with a hiss, eyes narrowing at the retreating senshi. They had a hold of Ilmenite now and she was afraid to get in the mess of so many feet, ecspecially if he decided to fight back.

For now she waited for the best opportunity to jump back in.

"No strong power levels, atleast on their side" She piped up, almost annoyed. Everyone else could probably feel it just as well, but with her target.. apparently not around Dahlia was feeling a little more useless then she'd like to admit.

Distance. He wanted his distance from her. Enough to be in striking range, but not enough for her to grab him or get near his face ever again. That one cut he delivered promised that if he could continue at it, draw out the battle and be table to find the best opportunities to directly strike, that he could have her. He could destroy her piece by piece and watch her bleed out, but that was not in the cards today. Birhan was focused enough to shout an order to go after the civilian - a civilian that Wolframite had clearly forgotten about in the face of a reunion with an old "friend", and it was then Zinkenite shouting at him to get his head back in the game that brought his back into focus. Birhan would leave. She would run off, and that right there was something he was deeply hesitant to allow, and for a moment he considered to disobey those very orders, the reason he was here at this mission, just to manage to kill one of the BMC - especially Birhan. However, a quick reminder of what might happen to Ilmentite if he was found out, taken by the BMC, brought him back to attention. He couldn't allow that to happen to anyone.

When Birhan charged, Wolframite vanished.

He had teleported directly in front of the escape route, as both a road block and a force to be reckoned with. He had already wound up his weapon in prepareation to attack Birhan, but could not use it with Ilmenite so close by. Instead, he charged and went to kick at Kallichore.
PostPosted: Thu Aug 11, 2011 5:46 pm

Birhan cursed as Wolframite disappeared. It hadn't occurred to her that Wolframite would be thinking beyond his own grudges. Of course he had a mission plan and would be carrying that out, not just going for Birhan's throat.

Well, too bad for Wolframite, but Birhan had a mission, too. And right now it involved getting the other senshi out of here alive.

"Departed Strike..."

The problem with an ambush and a retreat was that barely any fighting had taken place. The Blood Moon Court had yet to use any attacks, making Birhan's own ability next to useless. However, as she spoke the beginning of her attack phrase and reached out to grab for departed powers, Birhan realised that someone had used a senshi ability this battle. Even if it felt a little... darker... than usual. It would do.

"Renewal!"

For five seconds, nothing happened as Birhan stalked after Wolframite. Then, a wavering of the air and Birhan was nowhere to be seen. She could feel it burning off just as quickly as it had come on. Birhan was instantly in action. A high flip and she was on Wolframite's other side. A spin and a kick, one boot flying out at his chest.

"Go!" she yelled at Kallichore. Despite being invisible to any Negaverse agents, her voice still came out loud and clear. Kallichore, however, would have no problems seeing Birhan standing there. Though not entirely sure of the effect this power had given her, Birhan would distract Wolframite, while the other senshi and the civilian got away.

(( Birhan has used Alunite's attack - but since the target is reversed, so is the effect. She is invisible to corrupted types, un-corrupted senshi can still see her just fine.

Birhan has about five seconds left on the clock.))

Six... Seven... Eight...

Something went wrong, and Alunite froze. One of the senshi's aura suddenly stood out by it's vagueness. And it's familiarity.

A little too familiar, perhaps. It felt just like his attack - but he had DEFINITIVELY not cast anything on a god damn senshi.

Oh god oh god oh god what the ******** ******** to say, this hadn't been part of the plan. He definitively didn't remember an attack-thief in the info board !

Oh, ******** ******** that was just enough for Alunite to become visible again.

"....One of them just used my attack !" Yeah, ******** stealth. "Watch out !"

Then he started trying to break Ilmenite free again, lashing at Sirius' arm in hope that she would let go.
PostPosted: Thu Aug 11, 2011 7:04 pm

She was a little late, but as the saying goes... better late then never, right? If anyone was feeling around... they would have felt a corrupted eternals Aura blink into existence.

Really close to where Dahlia leaped as the object was thrown at her. Lyra felt her eyes narrow on the retreating trio.... how DARE they try and hurt a cat! She felt a burning desire to chase after them.... but she chose not to and stay behind to check on Dahlia first. She saw Alunite was attacking them... and Lyra was stupid enough to not notice that Ilmenite was with them, just yet. The mingling auras around her was getting to her, but she would soon chase after them anyways.

Looking down she did not realize until she was closer that the feline before her, reminded her of Hiro. At least, Aura wise. The corrupted senshi had never seen this one before. "...Are you ok?" She asked in a concerned tone before she looked up once more. Looking down at the cat again, she waited but only would for a few. "Want to hitch a ride?" She looked towards the fleeing senshi once more, her gut telling her to go for them.

~~~~~~~
Fayalite was too focused on their prey below, watching curiously like a cat staring at a mouse. She knew Zinkenite had it under control, knew he would not need her to watch his back. Yet, just as she was about to turn to help out the others battling below... the order was barked at her. Something that made her neon pink eyes turn around and watch once more.
"My pleasure."
She had to restrain herself from throwing her own kick in... not knowing for certain if her boss would really like that. He seemed to take pleasure in hurting her himself, but damn if she did not want to knock a punch in her too. She would make sure to drag the b***h to Wolf across the worst terrain possible.... she deserved it.
She had stupidly forgotten that captains and above could teleport, and was shocked when the one called Wolframite suddenly appeared in front of her. Of course, this was a split second after the civilian stated he wasn't going anywhere. That was when Kallichore got a good whiff of what was really going on - the civilian? A captain in disguise, and she and the rest of the Blood Moon had fallen for the trap. Kallichore didn't realize how many of the Negaverse were there and how many more were closing in. With a corrupted senshi casting an attack and then lunging for Sirius, Kallichore had to weigh several options at the same time - What to do with the captains, including the one in front of her? What to do about Sirius? How the hell would any of them make it out of here alive?
By instinct, Kallichore gasped and took in a rush of air, sliding down onto her hips to try and avoid being struck by Wolframite's knives. She had let go of the civilian-turned-captain and pondered for a moment which one of them to attack, but Birhan had cleared up one option for her already. The super senshi didn't have much time to stand around and stare at Alunite's rather impressive power, but as soon as he lunged at Sirius, Kallichore had firmly believed they had to have the upper hand before they could turn the tide of this battle. While Ilmenite would have made a good target, Sirius was in immediate danger and if Birhan could mimic someone else's attack, perhaps she could do it again.
Aiming towards Alunite, Kallichore called up her attack. "Surge... of the Maddened!" A pulse of heat waves flew through the air and towards the corrupted senshi. He seemed most easily rattled out of the others in the group and hopefully that would buy her and Sirius enough time to subdue Ilmenite or do some kind of damage. They were running out of options, and very fast.
(( Kallichore's attack causes the victim to hear voices of your choice (they can be multiple sources or just one) and see objects/people that are not there. The objects/people can be fully interacted with, but only to the hallucinating person. The effect lasts 30 seconds, so about two-three more of my posts if you'd like.
Zero can IM/PM me if she wants~ ))
Zinkenite gave a final nod to Fayalite and then vanished to re-appear on the floor below. Chaos... but he still felt they were in control. THEY were so far the only one's with a prisoner, tables turned and he liked it.
His eyes swept the floor back and forth over the faces, he knew some of them...Kalichore he'd met once but it seemed she had already powered 'up' as it were. That she was here with them as well...how disappointing.
Ilmenite looked to have been outed and his hand clenched as he tried to scan for ways to get through. So many people... he wouldn't loose one of his to them... he would not.
He pulled his smoke from his pockets and hurled it into the crowd with silent apology to those of his own who suffered from it in turn.
Her eyes had been locked on the action ahead of her, Alunite using his attack and sneaking forward. Some more attacks called but.. apparently nothing happening?
Someone appeared and it was by far the strongest corrupted senshi she'd had the pleasure of meeting. Her sweet voice was a surprise, causing Dahlia to look up at her curiously, silently she felt out her name and power, filed away the features of her face in her memory. She did not hesitate or make the senshi wait once her question sounded.
"That would be much appreciated" With soft pressure on her back legs she leapt up and into the air towards Lyra, senshi of nebulas. Surely she'd catch her right? And then they could be off, because she could hear Alunite calling out in distress.
PostPosted: Fri Aug 12, 2011 12:47 pm
This really wasn't Alunite's day. At all.
First some freaking senshi stole his damn attack (how was it even possible ?!)
And then he got hit with Kallichore's attack.
Hit like a truck, at is.
Suddenly, there were voices. Voices everywhere. Add to the fact that there were plenty of actually real voices and chaos going on and someone might as well have shoved Alunite's brain in a blender.
...And what were those elephants doing here ? Uh.
He let go of Sirius, started by the voices. "God damn, shut up !" He called out to... no one at all.
The voices just laughed.
Had he been in... better mind, he might have had the presence of mind to at least back the hell out of the tear gas. Unfortunately he didn't, through he at least threw himself on the ground when one of the elephants grew giant-size and tried to stomp him, through that got a groan of pain out of him.
Broken rib. Nasty s**t. Bad idea overall, really.
Still, now he was coughing, eyes watering, crawling back and forth to avoid things only he could see, and shouting at imaginary voices to shut the hell up.
Yeah, hopefully someone was coming to save his a**.
Lyra could hear the calls too, but thankfully for Dahlia... the nebula senshi did in fact catch her. A little awkwardly, Dahlia almost leaped onto the short senshis face... which would not have been too pleasant. Though after a little bit of quick maneuvering... soon enough they were off at a running start. She held the cat in her arms. Something she had never done before... in THIS 'life' anyways. It was just a feeling, a hunch in the pit of her being. Something her body instinctively reacted to. She held the feline like she had held a cat before. Lyra felt close to the cats, close enough that she felt SAFE with them.... wanted to pet them. It was serious enough now that she ignored the urge to scritch behind the felines ear.
Instead she swerved around with the bundle in her arms. Her intent was to go for the senshi, but the one white moon senshi... DID something to Alunite. Lyras gaze was on her fellow corrupted comrade, he needed help first... the senshi would have to come later. She would never leave someone behind, not in this much pain. He started to wail and cry.... and hell if looks could kill she might be dead right now. He looked like a sobbing mess. You can not really see Tear Gas, but somehow by shere luck she managed to swerve around it. That was, until she drew closer to alunite.
A step forward, and it hit her as she breathed in deeply... Coughing roughly, tears forming at the edge of her eyes as she clamped them shut. Blinking the eternal senshi stepped backwards, back towards where the good air was. It looked the same as the stuff around Alunite... but she knew that it was clear of whatever was in it. "Alunite what did the senshi do to you!?" She cried... he needed to get out of whatever was surrounding him. She could not see it, but her own tearing eyes and urge to vomit was enough to know something was there. She had not connected that this was Zinkenites attack just yet... all the same, she needed to get him out of there. Taking another step back, She placed Dalia on the ground. No need for her to have to do this too...
Pressing her sleeve to her nose and mouth, she darted into whatever invisible stuff that was surrounding him. The sleeve did not help much... but she didnt stop. Lyra made a grab for the mans wrist and tried to drag him back to where Dahlia was.
