Having no luck at finding the ToTer's ring, Edel decided to take a short break before returning to smash open more clocks in search for the lost item. Wandering about the Gym, the frost demon may have spotted a few odd movements here and there, but nothing actually showed itself up. Was that one of the clocks moving? The ghoul wasn't sure.

One ring to rule them, one hammer to smash em.

After helping batty out Oppa walked around the broken down festival grounds some more. He heard a ticking sound from one of the new stalls. Tick Tick Tick. He was greeted by a new booth owner, who proceeded to tell him the most long winded story about clocks he never wanted to hear.

Oppa, straining to keep his brain from going comatose, heard something about a ring and PP. "Wait... so you WANT me to smash these clocks?" WIthout much though Oppa grabbed the nearest one and threw it on the ground! "BOOOOOM!!!!" The clock made a huge explosion and seared Oppas clothes and burnt his front a bit.

"Uh.... it wasn't in that one.." Oppa stumbled a bit, dazed from the explosion.

The time demon couldn't help but watch half amused as halloween students and wannabe students tried their luck at trying to find his ring and failing. Part of him felt kind of bad though. Still he had all the time in the world there was no big hurry.

Israfel was curious when he came, after all, the gyms, battles...minipets. It was all so confusing, very very very confusing. What was more confusing? This gym. Clocks. Gears, ticks tocks, and things he was pretty sure would poke him or pop out at him at any given hour. He hardly wanted to be around when the clocks hit midnight. (Mostly since he totally knew how trick or treaters worked. Chances were the clocks would spring out and punch him. This was totally what he knew they planned. So cruel they were, so cruel). Taking a deep breath, Israfel calmed himself and steeled his supposedly iron will. His minipets were fighting, and in this gym, he hoped to do a bit of the same.
Or..not. The time demon was more interested in his ringthen minipet cruelty which was fine by Israfel. “Sure, I’ll help.” Picking up a hammer he began looking for a good clock. What he found was an old grandfather, and lifting the hammer, it came down with a crash, but as soon as Israfel opened the face, a spring was shooting out, hitting him dead on.
In the face.
Just like he had predicted. Yes. This was typical. This was Halloween.

Clocks. Gears. Everywhere.

From all around there came a ceaseless ticktick-ticking. Then and there she decided it was a sound that she liked. A smile split the banshee's face as she wandered the Gym. It was in her meanderings that she came upon the deranged ToTer.

"Lost your ring?" She frowned, the grinned again as he asked for her help. The ghostling nodded, moving over to take hold of one of the hammers. "I think I can do that. I'm good at breaking things. Maybe I should have been a Poltergeist!"

With a shriek of laughter she swung the hammer up and brought it back down, aiming for the nearest offending time-piece. The hammer struck solidly... but nothing happened. The clock didn't so much as miss a tick.

"Ung. Tough clock."

Time Out chewed his lip as try after try failed. He was beginning that he'd never get any of his rings back. Sure he could have lended a hand but what fun would that be?

The debris to the face had been insulting enough. Of course, Cat had to return to reclaim some form of dignity. The old ruined ribbons were discarded, and fresh ones were torn up rather roughly from the shadow of a nearby tree. He would get a prize, even if he had to smash every clock in that odd place.

Again he picked up a hammer. Again he hefted it over one shoulder, and again he swung down with all the might he had. The clock did pop open, and to Cat's satisfaction it did not explode in his face again.

Not a second later, however, his Smile was wiped from his face when a spring dislodged itself from the open clock with some great force, and shot out. It hit the dark boil's forehead with so much force that it did not bounce away, but instead lodged firmly into his ribbons as the wood chips had done, and stuck there like some sort of ridiculous unicorn horn.

Cat stormed out for the second time, but he would be back. Oh how he would be back.
