Artemis was immediately drawn towards the stack of Floresctival Seeds. Seeds meant prizes, and prizes meant bragging rights, as well as proof that he'd won something! What was there to lose, besides a few drops of blood from the guardian bats?
So, Art decided to jump right into the pile. He was scratched, licked, bitten, bruised, and beaten with wings as he groped around for a seed. He grabbed, three, but dropped two of the shiny little seeds in the onslaught that was getting out of the pile. He emerged from the pile with a gasp of air, holding his single seed in triumph above his head.
"Take that, ya dumb bats!" He pocketed the seed, and strutted out of the gym. Mission accomplished.

Diana enters the gym and looks around. She notices the bats guarding their seeds that they managed to salvage from the florestival and smirks. She could always use more seeds after all and who was some silly little bats to stop her. Going over she begins digging through the bats trying to get to the seeds despite being bitten and scratched by them. She was not going to be happy if they messed up her clothes...
Growling she pulls back as she realizes that for now that it is fruitless to keep trying. The bats were doing to good of a job guarding their prize.

How the Jack had he gotten here? Seth frowned looking at the gym. There were bats n the corner with something behind them. Seth had been sent forth to collect shiny things though he'd not been informed what kind of shiny thing he was to collect. There were those seeds and he supposed those were shiny. Though he'd spied a nymph in the greenhouse with a shiny badge looking thing. He supposed that could be what he was suppose to collect but he didn't spy a badge immediately in the bat gym. So he decided he'd go for the pile of seeds.
He winced as the bats defended there seeds though they were no match for him. He dove at them and they spread away causing him to land in the pile of seeds. Though to his dismay they were not all shiny. They weren't shiny at all none of them. It was all bat seed. It was food for the bats. He frowned, his head hung as he stared down at the pile of seeds he now sat in. He'd have a hard time getting all the seeds out of his clothes and hair and it was all for naught.*
He ran his hand through his hair quickly grimacing as seeds pelted his hand as they fell. He kept rubbing and seeds continued to fall. He frowned sighing at the uselessness of rubbing his hair and stood watching as more seeds fell from his person. He carefully walked out of the pile feeling ridiculous. He'd have to try another pile in the gym some other time. He wasn't in the frame of mind to try again for the day. When he finally got out of the pile of seeds he could hear the extra seeds fall to the ground as he walked. He didn't even have to glance over his shoulder to know that he was leaving seeds in his wake.

Did the bats still look intimidating? Why yes, yes indeed they did. Vero approached only a smidge closer this time, large eyes watching the writhing group of winged rats cover their hoard of rainbow seeds.
Ghost or not, it didn't think sticking its hand in the mass was a smart idea. Vero's self esteem was already low enough thanks to the failure back at Sleuth's gym.
