Quiet muttering followed the dark shadowy figure as he trotted along through the festival grounds. It seemed like he had missed quite a bit of action during his self-imposed quiet time, and trying to find someone to ask about the whole mess was getting more frustrating by the minute. Yes, he had plucked the clock spring lodged in his forehead out, but the frustration lingered.
He wouldn't quit. A good Cat doesn't...
Nearing the lake, his little pep talk murmured into silence. Were those two...throwing things? At people? Well, goodness, he certainly had to see this!
Unfortunately, edging close enough to get into their line of fire only earned Cat a storm of completely useless fish to the face. Just as quickly as he had come near, he turned tail and bolted far away again. Eurgh!

Did he feel guilty about stealing their fish? Not really, they had a ton of them, which was apparent as he watched them pelt another student with them angrily. So he should probably avoid--
Wait... were those shiny things there? What were the chances that he could get one of those shiny things if he let them hit him with fish? Roch scowled, contemplating the risks, then shrugged, after the whole episode with the FEARados, he still didn't feel clean anyways. So he stepped forward.
A PP move hit him straight in the face, sliding down his forehead and dropping into his hand.

Apparently, being a water based demon seemed to attract fish to him. Either that or Gabrian was just having very, very bad luck as of recently; he'd figured that giving the booth another visit would be more profitable than his first attempt but it was quite clear that the fish from the tanks were still not quite happy. It was obvious something had happened to upset them, though what that was... was anyone's guess. Swiftly deciding he'd come back later once the creatures had (hopefully) settled down, the demon left.

Ulmuka snickered as he lurked around the gym that now housed Ember and Break. He snickered because he knew they'd had their fish eggs stolen and he was hoping to steal on for himself. He was certainly not expecting to be pelted with fish!!
As delicious as the fish smelled, he wasn't quite in the proper form to make a feast of this. Instead he was trying to be careful not to get his fancy clothes all covered in FAIL!juice!
"HA!!" He danced on his toes as he dodged the fishes only to be hit in the face with something a lot more solid. He pulled the creature off of his face and found it was a small lizard minipet with a broken horn. HOW CUTE!!
Of course his joy was interupted by more fishes being flung so he danced carefully back and out of reach.

Herryk was on a mission to collect badges, all day every day. He loved the sight of them plastered on his crumpled, sweat-stained battle card. In fact, he hadn't seen anyone with as many shiny badges as he had, and that made Herryk feel even better about having all those badges.
Some badges were easier than others.
Break's badges was one of the easy ones.
Just as Herryk was walking through the door of the Gym, something pinged off of his shoulder. Leaning down to pick it up, Herryk recognized it as Break's badge. Offering the ToTer a wave, Herryk immediately left the Gym. He would come back another time for Ember's badge. It seemed that others weren't as lucky, and after the day he'd had, Herryk did not want a fish to the face.

Fish...
Merry was still hungry, and fish sounded like an amazing idea for a snack. She returned to the one place she knew for sure would have fish in abundance though it was no longer a booth, but an actual gym now. Not that that made much of a difference. There was still fish, she could smell them.
Slipping inside, she set about searching for them.
She didn't have to go far. No sooner had she taken a step when a barrage of fish came flying at her from all corners. There was a very brief moment of bliss at the thought of such an abundance of food, but it died rather quickly as the first scaled thing struck her in the face. She hissed, threw up her arms in defense, and bolted for the door. Grabbing a few slippery aquatics on her way out.
Take out.

Attica ran as fast as she could go but every cornor she turned it was to see the booth owners there with a bucket of fish throwing it at her.
"Man this is what I get for stealing"
But she would do it all over again.

Coming on around again to try and see if he could get any closer, Jericho only found that Break and Ember were still very displeased with him. More fish came flying his way. Aside from the fish, something else had been tossed in the mix, smacking him right in the forehead.
Shaking his head, he grabbed it, finding a PP for Ice Fang. Well, this could be useful he supposed.

After taking a nice stroll around at all the new places and giving his injured hand a rest, he wandered back to break and ember's place to see if they managed to cool down yet and gave their own arms a rest.
It didn't seem to be the case as even more floppy fish managed to be tossed at the poor hound. One even gave a good solid thwap against his cheek like a slap.
He didn't need to another smack in the face to see that they needed more time to burn out. as he dashed off to more friendlier places. "Fish are our friends, not ammunition!" he screamed out before another one went sailing to where his body just stood.

Moving to the middle again (why in the Jack was he doing this anyway -- oh yeah, badges), Marosa glanced around to see if he could gain anything, but yet again got pelted by fail fish.
And to think he used to like fish.
Tramping over to the corner, Marosa sulked, not even bothering to go shower off; there was really no point if this was going to be an excessive trend.

It was an art form, the ability to remain undetected as much as she had previously been able to during the early hours of the Floresctival. Unfortunately, now that most of the festival had been destroyed, being stealthy was less of a skill and more of an impossibility.
As the PP was flicked at her head, she slapped her hand against it to catch it before it fell. The blue disc was slipped quickly into her pockets - as Riley as a full subscriber to the idea of finders keepers.

Riley wasn't going to waste this opportunity to attempt to steal another egg. If they were throwing things at vagrants, perhaps they would try to throw something else of value at her as she attempted to snatch another?
No, it seemed the only thing they would throw at her were fists of fury.

Despite the violence of being caught between the two teams, Riley was determined. It seemed as though she had something to prove here, despite how badly she was failing to prove it. Nonetheless, she snuck her tentacle in one more time.
Before she could steal an egg, she was caught in the same fate as before. But she would tough it out, if only out of sheer stubbornness.
