After throwing a few of the gnomes about, poke returned to see that Desu chan was finally in the mood for a battle. Yes! She now had a chance to win the ToTer's badge! But first, she needed to choose herself a mini to fight with.  Thankfully, she had found herself some time during the festival to grow some of the mini's she had found, one of them being a Rapalicious which some very interesting colors. She had brought the mini with her this time, the creature was looking warily at the three mini's of desu-chans, it's little claws flexing in preparation for some rip and tear action. And sadly, poke had promised to feed her mini after the fight, not before it. "Okay, lets get this thing started...How about we attack that little blue fairy thing?" she indicated towards the Korobokkuru . "Go!" ((First battle: Korobokkuru vs Rapalicious Nergal! The dragon ghoul grinned as her raptor pet had jumped at the other mini, it's claws slashing at the fairy's wings and body. The fairy retaliated of course, but the raptorlicious was able to dodge the majority of the others damage and was able to finish her off with a few well aimed slashes.
"Nice going!" she praised him, whom now cocked his head at her and replied with a few happy chirps. It then turned it's attention to the next mini, The miniature desu-chan. This wasn't going to be a easy one...
((Rapalicious Nergal HP: 9 - 2 = 7
Korobokkuru HP: 1 - 3 = -2

As pokes mini sized up the opponent, jumping from foot to foot and bobbing it's head up and down, The other just...sparkled, and continued to talk into her cell phone to rage. Becoming frustrated, it then charged ahead at the other mini and tried to attack it but was suddenly...flipped.

"Ohhhhh jack..." Poke looked up as her mini flew upwards, then came back down and hit the ground with a soft 'thud' The poor creature struggled to it's feet, and the other just..kept on talking. This time her mini stumbled forwards and quickly slashed at the other until she was defeated. However, her mini was looking pretty beat up, and poke was sure there was no way he would be able to last another round with the last opponent. A...little deer thing

Even though she knew they were going to lose this one, Poke thought they would at least finish off with a tie. The cute little dear couldn't possible fight off her min could it?
She was proved very, very wrong
In the end, her mini laid on the ground, beat up and unable to continue, with the other mini just looked at her with big, cute eyes
"Bleh, just you wait.." Poke picked up her mini and walked off in order to go and heal her raptor pet, and give it something good to eat. It had tried it's hardest.

Cady meandered into Desu's gym, still nursing her sore eye and hand. It looked like this one at least didn't involve as much, well, physical pain. In fact, it seemed as if your minis could take the punishment in your stead! She watched interestedly as a ghoul before her battled Desu's pets until her own was finally bludgeoned into submission. Yes, this looked like fun. But where had her own pets gotten off to? ~~~ Cady returned to the booth sometime later, with a black Manticat in tow. The little bugger had been snuffling around looking for spare floresce to eat. Well, as far as she was concerned, it was about time the little troublemaker earned his keep. She hoisted him by the scruff of his neck, and waited her turn to challenge the gym leader.

Pushing the unwilling cat forward with a toe, Cady eyed the Chideer first. It looked...easy. Right? SURELY this couldn't go wrong. A CHALLENGER HAS APPEARED! Cool Trainer Cady I'm going to like, throw rocks in your world, or something! Cool Trainer Cady sends out MANTICAT! MANTICAT uses Belligerent Glare! It's super effective!Desu chan's Chideer faints! ... Cady marveled at the text she could just see scrolling in front of the makeshift arena with her bad eye. Was she seeing things? Maybe that spring had cracked her skull. Either way, she decided, this was so totally awesome. She cheered a little as Desu's first pet dropped like a rock. ((MANTICAT REMAINING HP: 6))

A NEW CHALLENGER!!! DESU: 3,3,3 CHESH:10 Oppa stepped into the table laden arena and was prepared to battle Desu, her sparkly eyes, pink outfit and obsession with cute phone charms was pumping him to take her out. "SIR TROLL i decided on YOOUUUU!!!" Oppa shouted as he just picked up and threw the minipet. His derpy face is sure to scare off the ladies. Though he wondered how much of a lady Desu really was. The first round started with a complete KO by Sir Troll, his flying tackle knocked Desu's pet right out of the ring! However Desu's mini seemed to have hurt Sir Troll quite severely. DING DING!

Cady's victory was as short as it was sweet though, as Desu's next minipet took front and center. It's sparkly fairy-like appearance offset by an evil glower. Desu-chan sends out Korobokkuru!Korobokkuru uses Leaf Slap!It's not very effective... In point of fact, it looked like the leaf wielding fairy only managed to annoy the already irate Manticat further, and he swatted her aside angrily.  MANTICAT uses DoubleSlap! ...It hit 4 times! Korobokkuru has fainted! ((MANTICAT REMAINING HP: 4))

ROUND TWO!
Desu sends out her next pet and it pops up in the ring. It's SO KAWAIII!!!!! Sir Troll flashes a derp face at the mini and it runs out of the ring terrified. Oppa smiled, he knew that Desu's cute creatures were no match for his troll. Only one more round to go and that shiny badge would be his. Oppa was noticing that being at this festival was making his collecting OCD a lot worse.

Desu smiled and walked up to the ring, she put her next mini in the ring and turned around. SUDDENLY she started laughing and FLIPPED A TABLE ONTO THE WHOLE RING.
KKKKKKOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
Both minis were knocked out by the impact. Oppa just starred at Desu, her hair wild with a crazy grin on her face. He was more terrified of her than any of the other trainers. Oppa picked up Sir Troll and backed away slowly...
This all apparently happened in a parallel universe Oppa accidentally stepped into because he walked around the tables in an portal opening fashion and battled neo-desu. He left the universe when he backed out, which is the only way to properly leave parallel universes.
(sorry rav i realized that i shouldn't have just posted willy nilly... willll wait next time)

And just when things were starting to look up for the manticore... Cool Trainer Cady uses Final Blow! ... but MANTICAT refuses to obey it's trainer's orders!MANTICAT uses Lick Self! Desu-chan has won the battle!t( *n*t ) ... Cady glowered at the gym master for a few seconds before backtracking to Rage's gym. "I'LL BE BACK. I'LL BE BACK."

Hand still throbbing, Aksaja was a bit intrigued when he walked up to Desu-chan's booth and noticed that this particular trainer actually seemed to be hosting minipet battles, rather than have silly tasks for them to do to try and earn her badge.
This was good. It meant that Dancer could do most of the work and maybe his hand would stop hurting. Maybe.
"All right, let's do this!" he called out, sending the Reigndeer toward the first of Desu-chan's minis.
The other minipet attacked first, and Aksaja winced when it slapped at Dancer several times with the leaf it was holding, seeming to stun his minipet. But then the Reigndeer shook its head and recovered, charging toward the other mini . . . and basically stomping it into the ground until it fainted.
"Yea! Next!"(( Korobokkuru: 3HP - 5 = dead! Dancer: 10HP - 4 = 6HP ))

As Desu-chan sent out her next minipet, Aksaja eyed Dancer carefully, hoping that he wasn't too hurt to go on. Then the fight started, and the lightning dragon had to flinch again when THIS minipet also managed to get in a pretty good hit right off the bat.
Damn, these were strong. "You can still do this, Dancer . . . " he encouraged his mini. Still, though, the return attack wasn't nearly as strong.

Aksaja was a bit dubious about continuing this fight, but they had to try! "Come on . . . " It seemed like Dancer just wasn't strong enough yet, though. Because the next attack by Desutan looked about like it bashed his mini's head in.
Ouch. Walking over, the lightning dragon picked up his dazed minipet. "Sorry. We'll try again later . . . "
