Vorty I'm pretty sure they were early 90's, ian... but maybe not... just my memory kinda gets all fuzzled up before 1990 xd Oh no those were 80's. I am a definite child of the 80's and I remember very clearly playing with Rainbow Brite, My little Pony and a ton of other ones that no one else remembers but me.

Giabrenna Love your 80's edits, Cynbaby! Have you considered making Rainbow Brite at all? I did do a lala orange
I'm tempted to do other Rainbow Brite characters, but I currently have plans to do the rest of the Holograms, some of the characters from Rose Petal Palace, Lady Lovelylocks and Herself the Elf.

Vorty ah those 80s... cheezy times indeed. 3nodding xd Ah yes. it's sad when the only word I can use to describe my childhood is cheezy.
I love that Rinona edit even though I can't stand the character. Is there any way I can tempt you into putting a Selphie edit on your to-do-list?

I absolutely love the pattern on the geisha's kimono. Fear of that pattern is what has stopped me from making one yet.

The Iconoclast I absolutely love the pattern on the geisha's kimono. Fear of that pattern is what has stopped me from making one yet. That really wasn't that difficult. I used four or five basic colors (white, pink, red and two shades of green) to draw in the basic pattern. I started off wtih the pink center of the flower and worked off of that. I added the red and then made new layers for all of the leaves so I could play with the opacity to get the colors to vary. After that was done I selected a good dark grey color and drew in the lines of the flower petals. Lowerd the opacity and merged the layer down. Then I went and drew in veins in the leaves and outlined them a bit in the grey. Played with the opacity again until it looked right.
The hardest part of the entire figure was the hair (I'm still not happy with the hair) and the obi. I wanted the obi to look very shiny and silk like. I'm pretty happy with the way that came out.
And I made it long and flowing to cover her feet because I suck at drawing shoes. sweatdrop
