A defiant grimace contorted the ends of the officers lips, as he thought over what Lucian said, he didn't trust him and didn't want to. But in his mind there was already a plan in the making. He smirked and nodded, "Maith go leor." He then swayed slightly, "So oak, or elsewhere?" His tone seemed almost musing but that was just a cover for the actual caution that was his tone.

Lucian Just chocked back a roar of disbelief. He glared at the officer with unhid anger. "The oak is good, if it's the only one in the city," he said, keeping the anger out of his voice, just barely. He waited for the reply, hoping to get out of the area, as fast as possible.

"Just ask where to find the Grieving Angel, It is an occassional interest around these parts. Just know there's a sad story behind it, it's one of the things that makes it a work of art. Once you find her just go over to her left, there'll be a huge oak among the trees, you can't miss it." Seth said, the smirk still on his face, but his eyes challenging the anger in Lucian's, he was not fazed by his newfound resentment in the officer. "Also laddy, you best hold your temper. The last thing you want is someone who'd want to kill you more than me tracking you here. Your wings would sell really well on the black market."

Lucian stared at the officer with disbelief. The only thing he could think of was how he could know. He then rembered about the person in the forest. He was the only one to know that Lucian had wings. "Who told you those details," he asked, noting that there was only one big oak in the city, not to hard to find during the night flying over head. His main interest was the answer to his question.

Seth leaned back into himself and squared his shoulders, "Well, there's the awkward shape of your back as you try to hide them under that coat." Seth pointed out and then corssed his arms, "There's also a few things, scent, the awkward sound of heart and 'lungs'... tells me you're a creature of flight... We should get going, how about you go first, I don't feel I can trust you with the people here."

A figure walked from within a small shop, reafixing the large gasmask over his face. Pale skin was shown for a second, and the sound of strained breathing was released for a single second before the mask was buckled in place. A deep shaky breath was pulled, and Geoff's eyes closed behind the plexiglass goggles of his mask .He scanned the enviorment for a second, and took a step. He heard the gentle crinkle of his black leather uniform, and the crunch of his army boots against the change from wooden floor to harsh gravel.
The first thing Geoff noticed was the dress clad women, and the suited up men walking hither wither across the streets. Steam powered wagons moved through the people, abreasting the crowd. Geoff timed it, and walked as the wake of one of the steam giants was created in front of him, before hurying through to the other side of the street. He entered another shop, this one with a merry woman manning the counter. He would have smiuled at her cheerful face, had it been able to be seen. Instead, He said, " Hello madam. I am in search of a special repair. I have heard there is an excellent repairman on the premises from one of my fellow officers. May I invoke the service of repair? " The man asked. His voice was clipped, stern, and heavy with a german accent, while speaking english. His green eyes looked down at th woman from his height of about six foot evn. His hands were behind his back, the right wrapped around the palm of the left, and his legs together. He bent evr so slightly, so as to avoid looking down to far." I am willing to pay any price, I need a quick and reliable repair. "

"Fine, just tell me where to go," Lucian said, and resumed his course, heading for the place he was going to hide in before he was forced into his current position. "The 'things' on my back could have been anything. But I admit that I do have a high lung capacity and a fast heart-beat," he said entering the next street. "So tell me, why do you and the shop owner from before have the same scent? It confuses me very much, exspecially since it didn't smell like gun-powder or oil," he questioned, hoping to get an answer from the question.

"Same scent? And we're not machines thankyavarymoch.." Seth said, his initial reaction was an incredulous expression almost offended but it was quickly controlled. "I tend to have a very different scent compared to other humans. But perhaps that is it... We are humans that is all. If anything at all by scent alone I stand out of from the rest of humans here, due to series of factors..." He went on to explain but did not go any further nor as to name the factors themselves. Those were secrets, and secrets the officer had to keep to themself. The Lieutenant Colonel went over to the Irish Hunter waiting outside the alley, and taking it by the reigns rubbed its nose and lead it on walking alongside the... daemon. The animal followed calm and relaxed but just as cautious as its rider. Their steps a synced rhythm along the stone ground.

"I know your not machines. I'm talking about the base scent I smell. It's even different from mine, yet I smell it often around me on other people. But yours, yours is a different scent then mine and there's yet the same as t....," Lucian cut off his sentence where it was. He knew the answer now that he talked about it aloud. It seemed ridiculas now that he thought about it. "There's my answer, I guess," he said to himself.

"The forest?" Seth asked, already knowing and nodded. "So what do you intend to do now, eat me?" The officer's voice grew huskier at the last two words it hadn't been the first time that other creatures had tried, and it was because of that ever beating clock there in his chest. The fact that he had one of the most powerful being's heart drew all sorts of monsters, wanting either the power and or immortality the heart would give, but the heart was on loan. Ah yes, in time it would have to be returned sooner or later. It made him restless. He chuckled at the thought, "I promise you it will not be easy."

A woman, past her child-birthing years, was standing at the counter reviewing the book. The most recent entry had a strikingly hurried angle and was difficult to read in addition to the amount of information squeezed in. Her medium-brown hair, streaked with grey and silver, was pulled into a tight, small, bun at the nape of her neck. Lines etched in her face spun tales of smiles and laughter, as well as work and forehead creases most often seen in motherhood. "Hello, and welcome to my husband's shop." she said, looking up at the sound of the bell with a smile. It was only afterward that she noticed his rank, and a slight pause denoted this. "Sir." The woman, thin and boney but not to excess as she had access to enough food and a bit extra, would stand at 5' 3"; however, the tall stool intended for Nim added a foot to Matilda and put her mother, who was currently at the counter and sitting on the stool, around 5' 10". "My deepest regards, Sir, but my husband is out this morning and another officer has already requested his services." responded the woman. With a flicker of a glace she noted the estimated completion of that order. "Prices are set, and the same for everyone. Prices and time from depend upon what the request is, however if it is anything like the order requested by the previous officer it will likely take until Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning. Sir." Given that this was Wednesday, that might not be be the correct answer.
Meanwhile, in the back room facing a closed door Matilda had located the wire she was looking for and was using a pair of needle-nosed pliers to bend it into a similar shape as that of the original spring. The first round and a half took some time, adjusting it to be perfect. After that, the rest would be much simpler aside from minor adjustments and finishing it at the proper length.

"Why would I eat you," Lucaian said, "Smelling of the fae is bad enough. I hate them with a passion." He just looked at the officer, judging 'his' reaction. "If I could, I would rather destroy and obliterate whatever it is that is making you smell of them," he said and turned a corner, keeping the tower in sight.

(( Can you please edit the 'her' in your post into "him/it/the officer". I don't want others using that until the character has established for themselves that Seth is actually a woman. ))
"Really now? Most daemons find me tempting... They wouldn't hesitate to try when given the chance." The officer said, his face stoic at the mention that the daemon would destroy the one thing keeping him alive.

((ok done))
"Well, they were probably used to the fae all there lives," Lucian said, not going any further with that train of thought. He didn't want to go back to his first experience of the forest. "Well anyways, you might want to get going to your superiors. I just need to find a place to rest till sundown anyway," he said, waiting for a reply.

Seth patted the steed twice on its shoulder and then seated himself atop. "Alright then. Oh, cén t-ainm atá ort?" He said gazing into Lucians eyes, his expression indifferent but yet questioning in a way. The horse itself gave him a noteable height.
