The look Jericho gave Lizzy hinted that he didn't quite get the pun... or didn't find it that funny. He just kinda raised his brow before shaking his head to himself.
"Yeah I guess it could be useful for cooking," he said before blinking and tilting his head, ".. Really? You haven't?"
This came off as a surprise to him seeing how he had a tendency to breathe fire relatively often. Sometimes it was out of anger, such as the time during the festival, but he's used it on other occasions as well.

Lizzy pouted; she thought that the pun was funny! Or maybe he didn't even get it...? Either way, she pouted, staring at Jericho, trying to determine if he genuinely did not get it, or if he just didn't find it funny at all. After a short pause, she decided that it was probably the former.
"Well, if I did... I don't remember?" She smiled sheepishly, "Although I imagine it to be pretty amazing so... I don't know why I would forget."

Rubbing his chin, Jericho thought on this before glancing to the door.
"Well.. if you want to see it, I can do a quick demo outside?" he offered. It didn't take all that much effort to get some flames going and whatnot, unlike with his new ability here.
"Wouldn't be any trouble to pull it off and all."

"You would do that?" She looked surprised for a moment before grinning, "Sure! So long as you promise not to burn anything... Like the dorms. Or your shirt. Or anything you are wearing." She was pretty sure his clothes must be fire-proof, but better safe than sorry! Then, as an after thought, she added, "Just no burning of anything."

Jericho gave a laugh before shaking his head, "Don't worry. I'll try not to burn anything down."
Grinning to her, he got on up and started for the door, pausing briefly to see if Lizzy was coming along. When she started, he went on out the room, looking for a good clearing away from foliage for him to show off his flamey skills. Looking from side to side, he motioned to the spider demon to stay back. He didn't want to accidentally burn her either.
"Alright. Here I go," he grinned before taking in a deep breath and unleashing a plume of flames towards the sky.

Following behind Jericho, she stayed back the way he asked her to before waiting, anticipating... And he did not disappoint. Her eyes widened as she took a few steps back, staring at the flames; she remembered seeing something similar during the festival, but to see it up close? And straight from the source?
"Awesome..." She blinked, taking a moment to stare before grinning, looking down at the boil, "I can't believe I've never seen that up close till now!" She chuckled softly, "Seems hard to miss!"

Letting out a breath once he was done breathing fire, Jericho grinned and turned his attention to Lizzy.
"It is kinda a fancy trick isn't it?" he chuckled, "Definitely useful for starting fires. But yeah... I think that would freak out the undeads more than my new burning hands thing."
He actually kinda dreaded to see how Amrita might react to seeing him breathe fire. Hopefully the girl wouldn't be near him when he flips out or has a cold.
"Only thing is that when I sneeze, I tend to breathe flames on accident."

"It is!" She giggled before nodding, smiling sheepishly, "It would... I mean, it's fire. They are really frightened of that..." She had seen Amrita's reaction to it before, after all, and the Vetala was also nervous around DC, a fire beast... Even though the minipet doesn't really breathe fire.
"Really?" She blinked, "That's... Interesting. Do you know if it's normal for dragons to do that?"

Thinking on that some more, he turned towards Lizzy with a look of curiosity.
"I don't suppose your kind has anything like that? Kinda a... mishap or something?"

"Ohh? I guess I have to be really careful around you when you're down with something then!" She giggled softly before blinking, tilting her head at the question. She paused, as if to ponder over the question before answering, offering the dragon a sheepish smile, "Hm... I don't think so? If there are, I've never experienced them or heard of them..."

"Yeah.. generally a good idea. Hopefully I don't get sick during class or something. That could go pretty poorly..." he said before tilting his head to Lizzy, "Oh really? Well I guess consider yourself lucky then. I've already accidentally burnt down one student's flower pot by accident because of it."
This incident did lead to a rather... strange adventure afterwards but he wasn't about to go into details regarding it.

"If you get sick during class, please stay in your room!" She frowned, walking up to him and patting him gently on his forehead, "Be sure to tell someone though, or people might get worried!" Although she was pretty sure Riley would probably know if anything happened to Jericho.

With a bit of a nervous grin, Jericho shifted his wings and shrugged to Lizzy.
"I uh... sneezed on someone's window flower. Tsetsilia if you happen to know her," he said, "Incinerated it on the spot. It was an accident though! And I did apologize. Tried to help replace it too but things went down in a way that I don't really care to repeat."
Yeah. No one else really needed to know what happened that day. It was just. Weird.

"Awwww," She couldn't help giggling at the image of Jericho setting a flower on fire due to a sneeze though; it was pretty adorable in her head, even if she thought that it was a pity for him to have set that flower onf ire, accidentally or not... Probably because she was thinking in chibi-form and Jericho pretty much looked like this:
... She giggled again.
"Hm... Tsetsilia..." She echoed softly, tapping a finger against her chin before nodding, "I think... She was one of Petro's date for prom. I remember him asking about a ghoul with that name over Groanspring, but I don't know her personally." She then paused, raising an eyebrow, "Ohh? You do make me curious, Mr Jericho."

"She's a paudica demon," he nodded before pausing as Lizzy raised a brow at him. Jericho shifted a bit uncomfortably and grinned nervously as he raised his hands up slightly.
"It's.. really kinda embarrassing. Just.. forget that I said anything about it?" he suggested.
The dragon really didn't want to go too deep into that incident.
