To have come in last was something that did not amuse the Reaper much at all. It was a game, but he did not enjoy failing either way. With a sort of grimace, he got on up and placed his hands into his pockets before turning to the girls as they turned their attention to another game.
DDR?
Shun hadn't played it personally, but he's seen others do it.
"I don't..." he started as both Xiu and Mitsu were bringing up his dancing abilities. He had danced that night for the wolf girl, so that she could enjoy the school dance and whatnot. Shun wasn't really planning on playing this game.

"Dance dance... Revolution?" She had to stop herself from laughing at the idea of Shun dancing on that machine; instead, she kept a straight face (as best she could), although there was a grin on her face as she nodded, agreeing with the other ghouls, "I think it'll be a good game for you to relax yourself... You look too uptight!"
Her attention shifted back to the machine, and she gestured at it, "Well... How about a competition then?" She noticed the oh-so-subtle thumbs up from Xiu, and thought that a contest might spur Shun to say yes, "XIU VS SHUN! Dance off!"

"A dance competition?" Well, at least it was with friends. Mitsu didn't feel quite as pressured with the idea of a competition with them as she would have in class or with people she didn't know. This was for fun.
When it seemed Shun wasn't as....well he was never excited or enthusiastic really but he seemed even less so about this game. "We came here to have fun, you'll play...won't you?" The lycan asked looking up at Shun, her eyes peering through her mask. She sounded hopeful but she knew the reaper was likely to say no. During this exchange she had missed Xiu's grin and thumbs up.

...Oookay, well, Xiu hadn't intended to be volunteered for a dance off but...why not! It was for a good cause--the "Make a Grumpy Reaper Smile Foundation"--and she was with her friends anyways. Honestly, if she had to make a fool of herself (because she was a terrible dancer), then she would much rather do it in front of these three.
"Come on, aniki!" She clasped her hands together in front of her, wagging her tail eagerly, "Let's do the dance off! It'll be fun!"
Then came the giant doe eyes, and she stepped in beside Mitsu as the other ghoul tried to convince Shun to play as well. "Please? Please please pleeeease?"

Ugh, what was with these girls? The initial game suggestion was bad enough, but then Lizzy had to go and suggest an actual competition between Xiu and himself. Shun was not really looking forward to this. With a sort of frown, he noted the hopeful tone in Mitsu's voice, but he still wasn't so certain.
Turning towards the Baku as she started to plead with him, he let out a sigh and shook his head.
"You don't need me to play the game," he said quietly, "Can't.. one of the others play in my place?"

Lizzy pouted before taking several steps so that she was now standing beside Xiu, who was beside Mitsu, "Awww, please Shun? Xiu is all up for it! Pleasssseeee?" She managed to pull off pleading, hopeful, puppy eyes as well as she stared at the reaper; she had lots of practice on Mac, after all!
So it was now Mitsu-Xiu-Lizzy, three hopeful ghouls.

Mitsu's ears folded back a little in a pitiful manner but where she would have usually given up knowing that Shun didn't want to play, she was only encouraged because Xiu and Lizzy had joined her. "We will all play." Mitsu urged. "I..I kind of want to see someone else try first." She was a little nervous to be thrown on the chopping block first considering how amazing her balance was.
"Please try." Mitsu pleaded her tail starting to wag slightly though her posture was rather submissive. Like a puppy begging for table scraps.

What else was there to say? Shun had three ghouls staring at him with giant, doe eyes and pleading that he take part in the game. Not to mention that all three of them pretty much looked downright pitiful as the looked up at the taller reaper, though the lashing of Xiu's tail indicated that she was excited as well.
This was a dangerous trio.
"Please, aniki?"

Now all three of them were looking at him pitifully and pleading. Grimacing, he grumbled something under his breath before approaching the machine. Shun couldn't really believe he was going through with this.
"Fine. Just. Once," he mumbled.

Lizzy would have cheered loudly when Shun walked towards the machine, if not for the fact that she quickly decided that showing her glee in front of the reaper was probably a bad idea; instead, she turned to Xiu and Mitsu, giving them both a huge grin as well as a thumbs up at their "success"; this trip was getting better by the second!
"Once is more than enough!" She nodded, still grinning away as she took Xiu and Mitsu's hands, following after the reaper, "And I don't mind playing too, after you and Xiu~"

When Shun agreed to join in, though begrudgingly, Mitsu couldn't have been happier. She wanted him to have a good time and hoped him experiencing new things would help. If he locked himself away from all the games how was he going to have fun.
"I'll play with you after Shun and Xiu." Mitsu offered looking to Lizzy shortly as Shun stepped up toward the machine. Maybe if she watched the reaper and baku play Mitsu would know what to do before it was her turn.

Xiu was absolutely beaming but, like Lizzy, she resisted the urge to toss her arms into the air and cheer. Instead, she returned the demoness' thumbs up with one of her own before skipping up to the machine in question.
...Hmmmm this didn't look...too bad, did it? Oh well, if she failed, she failed! This was all for fun, anyways. Hopping up onto her side, she slipped a seed into the machine and turned to face Shun. "Ready, aniki?" Foreseeing that the reaper's response would be "doesn't matter" if she were to ask him which song he wanted, she chose one at random.
Annnd she completely sucked at it.

Letting out a sigh, Shun shook his head slowly while making his way to the second dance pad. He finally took his hands out of his pockets, if only so he could help keep his balance as he did this.
"I suppose," He murmured in response to Xiu as he tossed in a seed. He couldn't really believe he was doing this.
Grimacing, he waited for the song to be picked, then went on and played as things got started. For someone who hadn't really played the game before, he didn't do all too badly. He didn't get a great score, but he managed to not fail the song.
Once it was done, he just let out a breath and wordlessly stepped off of the pad.

Lizzy cheered for both Shun and Xiu as they danced, clapping when it was all over; she hadn't expected Shun to win, but that was good, right? Winning might encourage him to play more games! It was a small price to pay, really. She smiled at Xiu, and then at Shun, "See, that wasn't too bad, right? Now..."
She turned to look at Mitsu, remembering her previous offer, "It's our turn? I've... Never played this before, but just step on the arrows on the machine according to the arrows on the screen! I'll pick the easiest song for us~" She was pretty sure she saw that each song had a different 'difficulty' when Xiu and Shun were playing.
Taking Mitsu's hand, she led the ghoul up to the machine before slipping in two seeds to activate the two player mode. The song was then selected, and... It was on. She missed quite a few steps, but like Shun, didn't do too badly despite her not being very good at dances like this.
... Actually, it was more like 'STOMPING ON THE ARROWS WHILE FLAILING AND SMILING LIKE AN IDIOT' than dancing. Ah well.

For someone who hadn't been too enthusiastic to play Shun had done rather well Mitsu thought. He had actually managed to win. "Good job, you two." She cheered quietly.
Now it was her turn though and Mitsu turned nervously toward the machine as Lizzy took her hand to lead her toward it. The instructions sounded easy enough and from watching it seemed that Shun and Xiu had hit or tried to hit the arrows with their feet as the arrows on the screen reached the top. Yes, she could do this! With a false sense of security Mitsu stepped up onto the machine as Lizzy popped in the seeds and waited for the spider demoness to choose the song. There was a bit of an intro and then it began.
There were no words to describe Mitsu's failure other than she was not very coordinated with her feet. At some point near the end she had actually managed to stumble and fell off the platform all together and in turn completely missing the last bit of the song. Games....were definitely not a strong suit.
Still when it was over, Mitsu dusted herself off, looking to Lizzy with a hidden smile. "Y..you did really well." Obviously she had won, Mitsu didn't have to look at the screen to guess that much. At least Shun had won a game, maybe he would be more likely to play with them then.
